  • Woot! So glad you’re back! I’ve had a rough week and you guys always make me laugh/smile :)

  • Nobody knows the lyrics to Auld Lang Syne.

    Nobody.

  • You guys seriously need Alton Brown to come on the show when you guys talk about sauce recipes.

  • Sony please please please do us a favour and add dragon ball z budokai tenkaichi 3 and 2. Dragon ball z budokai 3. Dragon ball z infinite world and Mortal Kombat Armageddon you will be doing me a favour and all the people who want these games a favour probably about a billion people or more that would be more money in your pocket plus happy human beings. I just got my ps4 for Christmas to. Please Sony From dman8392 and fans

    • Also Sony if these games get put on ps4 can you add online to them like the Wii version of dragon ball z budokai tenkaichi 3.

    • That’s all up to the publisher, not Sony. Online functionality has such a slim chance of showing up because the current DBZ games have minuscule populations.

  • It feels like I’ve been waiting for this for a long time! I’m glad that the blogcast is *back* just in time or 2016! It’s going to be such a great year!

  • Ryan Clements or Justin Massongill, PLEASE forward the following to the board of executives at Sony:

    1. Please make PS2 games on PS4 cross-buy ($5 discount for Platinum trophy PS2 games) with PS2 classics on PS3, that is unfair & a big slap to the face to PS3 owners who bought those games as PS2 classics

    2. Please release the PS2 version of Donald Duck Goin Quackers as a PS2 game on PS4 and/or PS2 classic on PS3, as well as Haunting Ground & Sonic Heroes.

    3. Please release the PSone game Ms. Pac-Man Maze Madness on the Playstation Store, that game is listed on the ESRB website for PS3 and Vita.

    4. Please work extremely 100% close with Square Enix’s USA division & release the PSone game Pandemonium 2 as a PSone classic on the PlayStation Store.

    5. Please make the Dualshock 4 100% compatible with the PS3 (meaning making the PS button, rumble, & Sixaxis controls work)

    6. please release a 1TB super slim PS3 and discontinue the 500GB model, 500GB is not enough storage for games like Yakuza 5.

    Thanks

    • Yeah Sony, please do what COD_WAW_rules requested you guys to do. And while you’re at it, please also include compatibility with the original PlayStation 2 discs and include compatibility with PSone games (both the original discs and the digital versions).

    • A bit ridiculous.

1 – If you purchased those PS2 classics for your PS3, you can continue to play them on your PS3. Here’s the deal. If you sold your PS3, knowing full well (this was months ago) that there MAY not have been any prospects to play your PS2 classic anymore, then at the time you gave up your PS3, you already given up your right to complain about this subject. For the rest of us, myself included, we still own functioning PSX, PS2, PS3, PSP units and we’re not crying, because we have the options available to make use of our past purchases. I just see entitled whining on this every day and everywhere on the internet. If you don’t like it, then go game on PCs, like most people have done, by purchasing DRM free games.

    • 2 and onward – write a letter to those respective publishers. Sony has no control over what comes on to their PSN. They don’t need to dictate to publishers and that’s one of the main reasons why they’ve been more successful at retaining 3rd party support than Nintendo has. Sony makes sure their platform can reach the widest audience with a wide range of games that cater to every possible consumer taste out there. They’re not in the business to demand from publishers what should be available and what shouldn’t be.

    • This might be the first of one these ‘omg sony please do everything I ask’ posts that has ANYTHING reasonable on it.

Releasing a 1TB model ofr the PS3 slim is pretty reasonable… and asking for increased compatibility for the DS4 is also pretty reasonable.

      Good job… 2 out of 6 isn’t GOOD but it’s better than 0.

  • I think “err umm ahh” is my new favorite reoccurring Sid quote/noise. Also, love how he uses words like “throbbing” to make things sound dirty. Lol.

  • Missed you guys the past couple of weeks so glad to have the show back! Happy New Year and thanks guys for reading my pick for GOTY 2015 on the show!

  • You guys need to do an FFXIV spin off podcast, and if Sid wants to be apart of it you can just record him talking about his saurce of the fortnight (every 2 weeks might do this podcast favors) and put it into the show. Maybe it could be the sign off of every show is some cooking recipe, or snacking tidbit.

  • I’m curious to find out if any of you’ve played Trails of Cold Steel over the break. It came out right before Christmas, and a lot of people seemed to have missed this wonderful JRPG.

  • I didn’t think it was possible to love you guys more. A few minutes in and talking about cooking shows, Gordon Ramsay and Action Bronson? I love you be you guys and this show so much. Happy New Year!

  • Do you know if the PS4 will be on sale again for $299.99 again anytime soon?

  • I just wanna see dark cloud 2 on ps4. I literally have money just waiting for that to show up on psn. Goina platinum dark cloud soon as well.

  • Hey guys, I was wondering if you could talk about how handicapped gamers are never taken into consideration by console developers. I am 20 and I play with my face. I have had to wait until THIS generation of consoles for the PS4 to finally implement controller remapping. I am grateful for this, but I still cannot play my favorite games on my PS3 without a crazy setup including a controller, two microphone stands, and lots of tape.

  • PSnow $99.99 is still going on and runs threw 1-5-16 threw 1-11-2016 it just happened this week I don’t know how you guys missed that must be the bird seed Sid is eating. I would be eating Cookies lots of cookies Happy New year all!!! 2016

  • This comments section has gone crazy! Good to have you all back. I sorely missed listening to the crew be annoyed with Sid’s overbearingness then boredom. Grade A fun.

  • Sony could you and the developers please add dragon ball z ultimate budokai tenkaichi 2 and 3 mortal kombat Armageddon and Marvel Vs Capcom 2 on ps4

  • Great blogcast as usual. Listen to you guys every week and it’s always interesting to hear which games stick with someone after they’ve played so many over the course of the year. Many of the games mentioned were beloved by me in 2015, as well, and I’m looking forward to catching up on some of the ones I have missed.

Here’s to you guys and an amazing year ahead of us all!

P.S. Playing FFXIV for 90 days and living to 100 means you spent only 1/4% of your life playing. So you keep going, Justin!

  • Hi guys, I’ve been listening to the excellent blogcast for a couple of years now but first comment – as a Brit I had to tell you guys how hilarious it was hearing you discuss The Great British Bake Off (or “GBBO” as it’s known here). It’s a huge phenomenon over here, like more popular than Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad etc. Your perspective having not really heard of it was brilliant, and I’d like to agree that British cooking shows definitely beat their American counterparts – check out “Saturday Kitchen” (BBC) for some topical British cooking tips if you can get your hands on it. Stay classy x

  • Late reply: I really enjoyed this episode! You guys are a treat to listen to, truly, and I love being exposed to new media that I hadn’t been aware of… Guy on a Buffalo? BRILLIANT!
