Metro: Last Light and Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell Join PS Now Subscriptions

Because Saints Row IV and Saints Row: The Third both landed in the Top 10 most played games on the service in 2015 (see below), it’s only fitting that more Deep Silver titles like Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell should find their way into the PlayStation Now subscription catalog this month!

Your PS Now subscription gives you access to a host of Deep Silver games — some added today.

Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell (New)
After the antics of Saints Row IV, many fans asked what they could do next. The answer? Shoot the Devil in the face. Play as either Johnny Gat or Kinzie as you tear apart Hell in a quest to save the Boss’ soul. Historical icons, old friends, older enemies, a talking gun, a full length musical number, and a whole lot of other shenanigans all await you in this open-world, standalone expansion playground.

Saints Row IV
The epic conclusion to the game that changed all the rules! The Saints have gone from the crack house to the White House — but the Earth has been invaded and it’s up to you to free the world from Overlord Zinyak and his alien empire. With homies new and old by your side, and an arsenal of superpowers and strange weapons, you must save the world in the wildest open world game ever!

Saints Row The Third
Years after taking Stilwater for their own, the Third Street Saints have evolved from street gang to household brand name, with Saints sneakers, Saints energy drinks, and Johnny Gat bobble head dolls all available at a store near you. The Syndicate, a legendary criminal fraternity with pawns in play all over the globe, has turned its eye on the Saints and demands tribute. Refusing to kneel to the Syndicate, you take the fight to a new city.

Saints Row 2
Fifteen years have passed since your former Saints crew betrayed you. As you awake from a coma, you find the Stilwater you once ruled is in disarray. Unfamiliar gangs have laid claim to your territory, rival factions have taken over your rackets, and cash-hungry corporations have laid waste to your once proud 3rd Street home. Now is the time to seek revenge against rivals to reestablish your crew as the rightful kings of Stilwater.

Escape Dead Island (New)
Escape Dead Island is a Survival-Mystery adventure that follows Cliff Calo, who sets sail to document the unexplained events on Banoi. Arriving on the island of Narapela, he finds that not everything is as it seems. This title lets players delve into the Dead Island universe and unravel the origins of the zombie outbreak. Escape is just the beginning.

Dead Island Riptide
Dead Island Riptide takes players to the island of Palanai on the Banoi archipelago, infested with bloodthirsty Zombies and only a few remaining Survivors still fighting for their lives. Introducing new terrifying enemies, deadly weapons, a new playable character, and much more, Dead Island Riptide will draw players back into a world that has grown corrupt — with the last rays of hope vanishing in rising tides.

Dead Island
Terror. Violence. Madness. Bedlam. A holiday paradise gone mad. A tropical island turns into total chaos after a mysterious zombie outbreak. Cut off from the rest of the world, the player’s only chance to survive is to fight to the death and find a way to escape from the island.

  • I recently bought PS4 versions of Metro Redux and SRIV Re-Elected + Gat Out of Hell. Now I know why they were on sale. lol

Glad to see Sacred 3 and Citadel. Enjoyed playing them on 360/X1. More trophies for games I know I like.

    • Just noticed I can create a list of my favorite games. Now can we please get some organization going for games in out libraries. At least let me delete demos and betas.

  • Really enjoying my $99/year promo subscription. The service has been great so far.

  • Will we ever see an improvement on the listing and searching of games in PSNow? I love the service, but finding games on it is incredibly hard, if you don’t know they’re there.

    • Hi ThaNikilist – thanks for the feedback. We are updating the game listings today, with alphabetical rows of games, so you can find games more easily. The listing should go live this afternoon. Hope this makes it easier to find the games you’re looking for!

  • Finally. I love the PSNOW service so much. I’ll subscribe whenever I can.

  • Awesome games added this month! Will these changes to the interface be made available on my Samsung Smart TV version of PS Now as well? I’m loving this service, just wondering if the PS4 version of the Playstation Now UI will eventually be released on other devices? Thanks again and keep up the great work!

    • @James Martin

At first, I didn’t think that the service would be good, but I’ve beaten about 8 PS3 games so far with my $20 subscription. Thanks so much and tell Sony to keep up the good work. Going through Sly Cooper 4 right now. Sony has really blown my expectations with PSNOW. Smooth as butter.

I was also curious but I know it might not happen. Could Sony possibly find a way to add PSNOW games that are only in Japan but can be streamed on the American servers? Japan already has games that never get released over here on the PS1,PS2,and now PS3.

Another thing is how exactly do the companies who put their games on the service even earn money? I only paid once for the subscription but that was towards you guys at Playstation/Sony.

I’ve had my PS3 for 5 years and had a great time but now I’m in love with PSNOW. Saves me so much money.

    • Hi yunggunn80 – We do not have any news to announce at this time, but we are always collecting user feedback and evaluating how to make the service better!

  • I *love* it! I so look forward to these game announcements! Keep them coming!

It would also be really great to periodically hear about developments to the infrastructure of the service! I think it would be great PR to tell people that the service is constantly getting better and better!

    • Thanks sealum01 – glad to hear that you’re enjoying the game announcements. Glad to hear you feel the service is getting better and better!

  • Fantastic service! My son and I have really been enjoying the 12 month sub for $99. The performance has been stellar as well. Glad to see more games are making their way to the service. I have been wanting to play Sacred 3 and now I can on my PS4 or Vita! Thanks Sony!

    • Hi CrusaderForever – glad to hear you and your son are enjoying the service! We’re excited to be adding Sacred 3 and the other games from Deep Silver! Enjoy!

  • Hi guys,

Wondering if your planning to fix Uncharted 3 Game of the year version because it loads up the normal version not the game of the year. None of the additional content is in it like the new maps. Also in future be awesome in games like Warhawk and Starhawk to have the map packs included. Is there pans to include DLC ever down the road for current catalog? I own these games on PS3 still with all the map packs wodul be awesome to play on PS4 through the service with the same DLC.

Loving the service. I have the 1 year subscription plan now and in past have had 1 moth and 3 month subscription along with individual rentals. I was also in on the original Beta testing.

I used Gaikai and Onlive back when they were first announce many years ago and always been a an of cloud services and cloud streaming. Keep up the good work Sony!

Looking forward to what other ways you utilize the technology in the future. I do hope having options to stream demos comes one day as it would be great to jump into a demo without the long download waiting period sometimes.

    • Hi axeblade07 – Thanks for being a longtime member of the PS Now player community. The next time you log into the PS Now service, please try and start the Uncharted 3: GOTY addition from within the PS Now app. The game saves for the GOTY and standard editions may be different. If that doesn’t work, please consider starting a thread on our PS Now forum. Thanks and good luck!

  • Unlike PS PLUS, which is really poor right now, PS NOW at least delivers titles gamers want to play. The $99 for the entire year should not just be a promotion, but something that’s always available.

Hopefully, Dark Souls 1 and Demons Souls will soon find their way to PS NOW. These popular titles are not available on PS4 and it would be huge news to add them.

  • Any news on when we are getting the Metal Gear Collection, I would glady pay to play these games over again !

  • Please allow PS Now subscriptions to be purchasable with PSN cards.

I wanted to buy the 1-year subscription, but since I was asked asked for either my credit card information or my paypal account, I decided not to.

Even the 7-day trial asks for such sensible information I would rather not provide, specially considering that in the past Sony has had security problems where such information was targeted.

    • I bought mine with PSN card, i think they asking it if you try the 7th free days. if you buy it they wont ask.

  • Dear James Martin,

I am thoroughly enjoying my time with PS Now, and thank you for providing such a lovely service. I have but one gripe at this present moment in time:

During an excursion out in Tokyo Twilight Ghost Hunters, the application began to remind me that because servers are expensive, I would be required to remain constantly alert.

Now that is fine, servers *are* expensive to keep and maintain, but it made me think, “Why haven’t they invented save states on PS Now?”

The introduction of save states for PS Now users would probably not be terribly expensive, and it would alleviate a lot of misdirected frustration with the service. It should be a feature as readily accessible as the Share button on the DS4 controller. What happens is, you click ‘Share’, and there are the options about what you would like to do. Then you just select “Freeze Game State”.

    • Hi siriusbee – thanks for the feedback. I’ll pass your suggestion along to our product team, as we are always reviewing new features and ideas on how to improve the service.

    • I couldn’t agree with you more siriusbee!! Save states would be a god-send!!

  • Digging the service… Keep it at $99 a year and I’ll resubscribe.

  • I don’t know why, but I’m really curious as to how PS Now is doing. Is it a success? Is it profitable? I never hear anyone talking about it. Have they released any numbers as far as subscribers or casual rentals? Anyways, have a great day.

  • The Service is good and if you have a ps vita actually is the only way to play some AAA. Games but the problem is that the vita wifi have a lot of connect issues, i want to make a 1 year subscription but please IMPROVE THE SERVIVE ON THE PS VITA…

  • Can we get the people who are responsible for the Playstation Plus free games to go take a look at this post, particularly the “Top 10 Most Played Games on PS Now, 2015” section? These are the games people want to play. These are the games people play the most when given a choice between these, and a bunch of other really good games. These are the games that would make more of your customers happy if they’re included free in PS+.

Okay, maybe not these specific games (several of the games on the list *HAVE* been free on PS+ in the past) – but I think my point is clear.

Indie titles can be great, variety is awesome and should be encouraged, but what brings the most universal excitement are the big titles that we all want to play. Throw us one of these just a little more often than you are now, and you’ll generate a bit more excitement around PS+.

  • Bring Folklore to psnow…underrated title that more should experience.

  • Just a suggestion.

Sony should give 1 free game on Playstation Now for Playstation Plus users, Why ? because my friends and family are hesitant to use it even when I recommend it myself. Even though there is 7 days trial, its not enough for them to try it out. People will join once they see the value that I personally saw.

    Thanks

  • The 7 Day Free Trial was a brilliant move because it took 1 day for me to say that I want this service. I’m so glad that I can go through different games and classics that I loved playing. Its things like this that make me always come to PlayStation and I have always been a PlayStation fan since I was a kid.

Now, I’m happy you are fine tuning the service but just out of curiosity is Sony planning on expanding the library more and more? You keep this going and I’ll never run out of games to play.

  • We should also have the ability to rate each PSNOW game. It only seems fair.

  • I’ve been a huge fan of Playstation Now since the beta! The service is so awesome now and seeing everything coming together with these updates has me using the service every day! So many games to pick up and play!

  • Seems like a good service on paper. To be honest I’ve never checked it out though. No reason to really at this point as I have a backlog that will last years. I do see it as a smart move to build the service and grow the library as this is the future of gaming.

Just a thought for all the marketing folks behind the scenes. To generate more interest in the service and get people interested who don’t know much about it or like me have no need for it. You should consider offering games from the service for free with the monthly offerings for PS Plus for the PS3 titles. Those with PS3 systems still benefit like before but now have an incentive to upgrade to a PS4 knowing those games move with them on any platform. I don’t know if the service lets you always have access to the game or if it’s just a rental but if so that would certainly get me into the app and likely to upgrade to a PS4 sooner rather than when my backlog is finished. Just a thought..

  • Only Risen 3 for me this month. Please bring some Namco megatons (Demon’s Souls, Ni no Kuni, Eternal Sonata) in future.

  • Hello, I was just wondering if Grand Theft Auto 5 or any Call of Duty game will come to PSNow. Thank you!

  • Hi!
When will you guys add Ratchet Deadlocked to library?
    Peace

  • When will Playstation now be $99 again?
