  • Is it really top downloads or is it top purchases? Used to be the latter, not sure why there was a switch.

    • It’s always been based on the number of downloads, I just decided to change the headline of the post to make it more clear a few months ago. :)

  • Good to see Rocket League still doing well and also glad to see people haven’t forgotten about inFamous Second Son just because it released early in the PS4 life-cycle (still one if its best exclusives to me).

  • Oh look, only 2 Indies on the Vita best sellers list. Hey Sony, its *almost* like there’s an actual market for non-Indie games on Vita! So, ACTUALLY MAKE SOMETHING

    • …That’s three. Four if you still feel like Minecraft is somehow an indie. And Bastion, Don’t Starve, Terraria.

    • Yeah, and the ones towards the top of the list are generally the ones on sale, which reinforces the idea that Vita gamers are cheap and won’t buy games at launch for full price, justifying Sony’s decision not to make first-party AAA Vita games.
Also, we have no idea what the sales are here. P4G could have sold 100 copies to be #1 on that list and it definitely wouldn’t justify making big budget games on the Vita.
Now, I love my Vita, and I’m almost done with Lego Avengers (you can check my trophies for proof), but the writing has been on the wall forever now. It’s not happening. Get over it.

  • 1. Please support plug and play for external HDD on the PS3 or at least remove the 10% reserve of the usable HDD for future PS3 OS update
    2. Please support ultraviolet with PS Video
    3. Please make PS Now more like iTunes and PS Video and not like Netflix. Support ownership
    4. Please allow those who bought PS3 games digitally to get a PS Now copy
    5. Please support 2-step verification for PSN
    6. Please support a pin code for PSN

    Thanks.

    • So basically what you’re asking for is that anyone that ever bought (or not) a playstation game, to be allowed to stream it for free through PS Now?? From a business standpoint, how is that even remotely a good idea? Do you realize how much money they would lose by doing that? PS Now is a streaming service, it will NEVER be free, whether you like it, or not. Also, plug & play, which sounds like a great idea, has piracy issues, which wouldn’t be great for Sony, so don’t ever expect that to happen either.

    • Thanks for your reply @klassymike but it seems you did not read my message. I did not say I want PS Now game for free because I bought a PS game. Instead, I said Sony should support ownership on PS Now. Users should be able to buy a game on PS Now instead of renting them. PS Now should be like iTunes not Netflix.

Xbox 360, Xbox One, Wii, and Wii U support plug and play with external HDD. How come Nintendo and Microsoft do not have a piracy issue?

      Thanks.

    • You’ve got some esoteric requests. Some of those requests make business sense, some don’t… but now that you’ve posted them once, there’s no reason to ever post them again.

    • @gohan16ken
Maybe you should change your wording then. As it looks now, you’re asking that if you “Own” a game, you should be able to us PS Now to play it. Not everyone knows how ITunes, and or NETFLIX works. You also might want to use the forums instead of posting on every Sony blog post. Just some ideas for you to ponder.

    • Thank you both @Seluhir and @klassymike for your thoughts. Have a great weekend

  • WTF? Why is the PS Classic FFVII still selling so well when the PS4 version is superior to it? Buy the new one, people, so we can get the PC ports of FFVIII and FFIX too! >_<

  • Minecraft!

  • I know it doesn’t look completely amazing, but congrats to Dark Cloud 2 for hitting no. 3 on the PS Classics list.
It didn’t do too well when it was originally released so it’s good to hear it get at the top of the list.

Not to many titles can get half as close to the GTA games so in my books it’s #1!
