I must disagree. There’s no way Uncharted 4 beat anything. Not with those bomb graphics, gameplay and awesome story. Just no way….

I’m kinda ashamed that Shovel Knight isn’t doing better. People please go out and buy that game. They’re releasing free DLC won all kinds of awards including PlayStation Nation awards, it’s cross-buy, challenging, fun, tons of content, charming as heck…

    Why haven’t you bought it?

Not you specifically Twindad. Just everyone in general. Go buy it.

Unless you didn’t buy it Twindad, then go buy it :D.

No surprise that Uncharted 4 was the top selling in both the US and EU. Well done Naughty Dog. Also huge congrats to Drinkbox Studios on Severed being #2 on the VIta in May after being #1 in April. It really is one of the best games on the Vita.

Also Rocket League is never going to drop is it?

Rocket League really need to DROP THEIR BALL pretty soon!

I liked Tales from Space: Mutant Blobs Attack from Drinkbox but when I tried Guacamelee, I didn’t get into it. Based on that, would I like Severed?

+ MakaiOokami on June 6th, 2016 at 9:57 pm said:

It’s impossible to know. Severed is in a league all it’s own.

It’s like asking “Will I like Hatsune Miku songs created by a Google A.I.?”

I think the only legit answer is “You need to try it to find out”

No doubts over uncharted 4, but some titles are surprising to see such as Killzone, battlefield and outlast

    + Mercenary09 on June 6th, 2016 at 4:02 pm said:

That’s because those titles were on sale for really good prices. Killzone was $5 so that is why it shot way up the charts. Not surprising at all really.

Kind of sad that Ratchet and Clank is so far down the PS4 list. Some of that speaks to the volume and quality new stuff that came out in May, but…behind GTA5?

Hope this doesn’t hurt R&C’s chances for more games this generation.

    + shogun00 on June 6th, 2016 at 3:38 pm said:

According to Insomniac, the R&C reboot outsold all previous R&C games in just the first week of release.

    + Mercenary09 on June 6th, 2016 at 4:01 pm said:

You have to remember that a good chunk of those games above it this month had big discounts so it doesn’t mean Ratchet did bad. For instance Killzone Shadow Fall is only up there b/c it was $5. I’m sure Ratchet still sold well.

These are digital sales charts from PSN store. Single player games like R&C would have higher % of sales on retail than games that have multiplayer / dlc etc where digital convenience trumps retail collector / sell back options.

Who says Vita games don’t sell well. Minecraft still going strong on Vita. Now how about some GTA love for Vita.

+ MakaiOokami on June 6th, 2016 at 10:00 pm said:

What kind of GTA love for Vita? I mean GTA sells more copies than Vita sells units. The screen is a pretty decent PPI close to the level of the original Retina Spec. It’s in the 300s I think for PPI where as a PS3 is more likely to be outputting at 150 PPI (pixels per inch) which makes the Vita content look nice, but on the other hand, it pushes that handheld.

Not sure what kind of games they could do that would be economical on the Vita, and any game they’d release in the next 2 years would have to have been in the works for 2 year probably by now.

Nice to see Blood and Wine on the list considering it released in the last day of the month…that Witcher power.
Also nice to see 3 games on their well deserved place on the PS4 list…ha this is a rare sight.UC4,Overwatch and Doom all deserved their places on the top 3.

Well deserved! Uncharted 4 is imho, the best Uncharted to date! Most people would say it’s Uncharted 2 but for me UC4 is just fantastic! Can’t wait for the DLC and expansion pack! But please don’t rush it, you guys should take as much time as possible to make it full of contents like Blood and Wine or Old Hunters!
