Love listing to the show now. Haven’t been here as long as some of the other people, but still enjoy every week when this releases. Yet back to the topic of why we’re here.
ABZU!ABZU!ABZU!
Can’t wait for this title, Journey was a master piece and I know this will be too. Also Sid you have you play Tales from the Borderlands. It’s the best Tell-Tale game to date, hoping Batman will be as amazing.
Thank you guys for this every week.

NFL network on PS Vue is pretty awesome, they have every channel I need now. I’d like to switch now, but my cable company lowered my bill and locked me into a year contract when I tried to cancel a few months back.
I can’t believe none of the blogcast watch football. What’s up with that? It’s unamerican I say. Maybe you guys should watch a raider game this year. Our 13 year playoff drought is going to end this year, and we’re going to win the Superbowl, it’s a lock! If I lived in Vegas and owned a farm, I’d even bet my farm on it.

I thought the title “…And I Feel Fine” was a reference to the Beatles instead of REM, which made the photo of Joel and Ellie a bit… confusing lmao

Sid, you can’t imagine how much I respect you for preferring Day of the Dead the most out of Romero’s trilogy. I’m also not surprised Ryan wasn’t a fan of it :P

From a gameplay perspective, I got into survival horror and apocalyptic games because they forced you to play strategically and conserve your resources. So many other games put the player in a complete position of power. I like that each encounter in a post-apocalyptic game feels like a puzzle: how do I accomplish this goal with the resources I have scavenged? As far as the genre overall, I like the recurring theme of enduring and surviving (*wink*) through a difficult situation despite having the odds stacked against the protagonists.
Great show, as always, guys! And Ryan, thanks for bringing The Final Station to my attention. I loved Organ Trail, and this looks like it will scratch that same itch. :)

Fantastic episode once again.
I really like Last Man on Earth. It’s like the perfect mix of comedy and tragedy. All the usual humor of a FOX sitcom with all the intense drama of The Walking Dead. Perfect for any Will Forte fan.
I don’t know if it counts but technically Final Fantasy X is post-post-apocalyptic as the game’s main events take place years and years after the main antagonist has destroyed the bigger cities and all that’s left (save for Bevelle and Luca) is preemptive island villages surrounded by the ruins of what were once gigantic metropolises. If that counts it’s my favorite post-apocalyptic game.
By the way my brother insists that Last of Us is not post-apocalyptic but is in fact, post-pandemic. Thoughts on this?
Thanks again for a fantastic episode gentlemen and keep up the good work.

I’ve never been a big fan of the post-apocalypse zombie/mutant/crazies aesthetic, especially now that it’s so played out. But man, started replaying Bastion a few nights ago, before I made it to this blogcast, and man, it’s my style of post-apocalypse. You’re not only learning lore about a weird world in general, the whole thing takes place after that world gets so annihilated that there’s nothing but little floating islands. That sort of surreal gets me going in the genre.
