I think a fair comparison would be the 3DS which Nintendo still supports and not the original DS or Wii both being +10 years old hardware by now. PlayStation brand purposely decided to give up on vita plain and simple. But I agree, unfortunately Vita support is just as unlikely as those two at this point.
We all know what killed this amazing console:
-Criminally overpriced memory cards.
-Limited to non-existent support a mere of couple of years after release.
-Inconsistant support for back-catalogue of PS1 and PSP games (Some available, others -not even when they working perfectly on Vita)
-Only indie games and certain japanese being most of what users could look forward since about E3 2014 when Sony announced that no more first party games were in development.
PlayStation “killed” the Vita and since there is absolutely no other place to voice our feedback, some of us are “forced” to post the same complaints here week after week, in hope that all that #4theplayers is not completely bull****

Agreed. I don’t have PS Vita, but a PSTV, so I’m in the same boat. Sony really did drop the ball on this one. The memory cards were and are ridiculously priced. On the other hand, the Vita and PSTV are great devices. The PSTV should have been an easy sell. Play Vita games on the big screen, extremely small size, relatively good pricing, but they failed on PSTV big time by not having other companies make their apps available. You can’t do Amazon, Vudu, etc., etc.
