Happy Halloween! We’re happy to share the upcoming free PS Plus games for November 2016.

First up this month we have Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture. The talented developers at The Chinese Room bring us the spiritual successor to Dear Esther. Set in a small, deserted English town, players search for clues to uncover what happened to all of its missing inhabitants. This is a beautiful game with an incredible soundtrack that we hope you enjoy.

Next up is The Deadly Tower of Monsters. Have you ever wanted to play through your favorite sci-fi B-movie? Of course you have! That’s exactly what Atlus and ACE team have made with this game. Add in a clever director’s commentary and there’s a lot to enjoy about revisiting this cooky cult classic.

    I think that they has been some very good indie games over the past few months and some decent ps3 games as well.

    Lots of your beloved AAA titles are releasing in November. Go play them titles and come back next month and check out the titles that you might like / hate.

    I think it’s a reasonable lineup, however every month I am left disappointed for the following two reasons.

    1. THIS GAME WAS JUST ON SALE. Seriously? You literally just put Rapture on sale a week ago…luckily I never bought it, but this happens every single month and I have been caught out on numerous occasions.

    2. CROSSBUY. Why don’t all the games count as cross buy? Costume Quest 2 is available on PS4…just let me play the damn thing on there instead of making me use the old console.

      I DO say this. I think they should offer two subscription tiers. One is for online play only (maybe $30), no cloud saves/storage/etc. The other standard PS+ would be for online and the PS+ games (the current $60 model).
      Is that better for everyone?

    Man, I almost bought Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture! I’m kind of glad I held off buying it when it came out. I’ve never heard of Deadly Tower of Monsters, but I see it’s got really good reviews. Dirt 3 and Costume Quest 2 seem like solid titles. I wasn’t looking forward to Costume Quest when it came out, but I kind of got addicted to the demo. It’s too bad it isn’t available to us before Halloween. I have such a backlog of games to play, I’ll possibly never play these games.
    Some people complain about the good games they get with PS+ *waaaah!* My complaint is that I do need PS+ to play online, and I simply don’t have the time to pay all the good games I get with PS+.

    Xbox Games with Gold is not any better (and historically, quite a bit worse) than PS+. The MSRP of the free Xbox games are often lower than those you get with PS+, and there are more games that appear first on PS+ than Xbox GWG. They’re pretty equal right now, I would say. One thing that IS cool is that you can play the 360 games on the Xbox One; there are fewer PlayStation games that are cross-buy.

    A lot of people are saying “meh” and are getting a bit iffy about the PS+ games again…

    While I agree, they’ve not been the greatest games, it really doesn’t help that the gaming press wannabes seem to think it’ll be AAA Heaven every month, and it beggars belief that people still believe the hype and end up disappointed….

    However, Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture is something I’ve been looking forward to for a while, so for me PS+ just hit a plus point. Pun intended.

    Tower of Deadly Monsters I’m a little disappointed about, but only because I bought it in a sale a few weeks back. But it is a fun game, and its setting is actually pretty original.

    So, it could have been worse. It really could.

    How many of these 24 games are actually PS4 games? More like 12. Half of those I have no interest in what so ever. Still worth it for the 1 or 2 games I actually keep but only just. Serious room for improvement.

    there should be a way to rate your satisfaction with the monthly lineup,
    currently I feel that no one is paying attention to the month by month requests of the customers.

    From the complete list of “free games” for all 2016, I have no used a single game more than 1 hour….
    I’m still waiting for the awesome monthly line up that was promised…

    Sony you failed your customers yet again. And you are wondering why so many people are leaving PSN for XBox and PC. They get free A ranked games each month while you at Sony give us low end crap games. Last few months where ok but you failed us. Not only did you rise the price on the PS+ but still give us the crap games. Only reason I even stick around now is because of ESO and my friends on that game. But I fully plan on getting a XBox One S next month because they offer better free games. There are other reasons why I say Sony failed us. One in which was the cancellation of MODs for Skyrim which I was getting but stopped once I hear of this and Fallout 4. Then I did hear we are getting limited MODs. All while PC they have so many MODs and no limits and XBox had MODs by July. There is other reasons why I am getting a XBox but not all is to blame on Sony. The biggest trigger Sony did that has ****ed me off is the monthly crap games. Second is the MODs. Sony you failed us.

    Sony, I can’t believe the crap line up again this month.
    I mean come on, you could have at least let us have battlefield one. Why do I pay you £40 a year to be able to play online and get some some free games. if I was to estimate the amount of value I get out of the free games I guess it would only be about £200 a year I mean seriously it’s just not good enough. Can you explain to me why I should pay you £40 for a years entertainment when I could just as easily go down the pub and drink my £40 in a few hours? Hell I could even go and spend £40 to buy no mans sky, play that for 29 mins and then use it as a coaster (Also makes quite a good frisbee).
    If I don’t get skyrim free next month I am going to buy an Xbox and you will………
    Oh just remembered I already have one, could you please do me a favour a copy and paste this in their forum as well, you may as well do something for the £40 I pay you.
    As I was saying if I don’t get skyrim free next month then I am going to have to spend my own money and buy a game myself where’s the sense in that? I mean if I want something you expect me to buy it? What’s the world coming to?

      Battlefield one just came out why on earth would they give it for free?! And I’m certain that next month probably won’t be Skyrim, as it’s still a highly sought after game, and people are still buying it to this day brand new at full price. Instead of demanding high cost games to be given to you for free seeing as you clearly don’t want to actually pay for them, quit being an entitled prick and just enjoy what they give you, or stop paying for ps+? It’s not that hard.

    I hate when u already own some of the games and the lineup is useless for u… I wish there’s an option where if u already own the game they should allow some 2nd choices to pick, but only if u own the other games already. But sadly that’ll be unfair for those who wants it, so it won’t work. But still there should be something about it if u already own the game, u jus hav a full month waste with no free games when this happens :/ Or maybe do something like allow you to purchase anything less than than half the price of the games u already own, that is supposedly free, on a separate game library made for this purpose (they pick the library of games for us so there is a limit of choices). People might say that’s unfair and questioning why the free purchase, well considering they give us free games each month already so it’s not much difference. Most likely won’t happen, but would be nice.

      And can we get more PS4 games instead of reboots, it doesn’t have to be AAA games but atleast we’re expecting an actual game made for the PS4 and not a game that was boot from PS3/Vita.

    If anyone cares about value, I’d recommend getting a gaming PC. Once you get over the initial cost, it’s great…everything consoles charge you for is free, and Steam sales (humble bundles, GOG sales, etc) are amazing. The $60 you spend on PS+ can get you 10-20 great games of your choice.

    Consoles aren’t for value (outside of initial cost), they’re for ease of use.

    In my opinion I’m quite excited for these. I usually tend to grab every game that I can every month, and if I don’t like it I delete it plain and simple. I only pay £5.99 a month so to be able to get 2+ games that would total to more than that a month then it’s cool. If there isn’t anything good, then so be it. I’m quite excited for these releases :)

    Ya know they have given us scraps from day a triple a title here and there but xbox is getting triple a titles constantly indie games are not my thing but guess what u dont need plus for neverwinter if i pay 60 bucks plus for a game for online play i shoulnt have to pay for online its jusr crappy no game sharing xbox can game share crappy user interface which xbox is better i just came from xbox kinda regreting my decision honestly

    Anyone else realize that games are expensive as crap I mean legit 60$ for a game is fine. But I expect a full game not having to buy a season pass or DLC. One full game at release costs 100$ if you want everything. All dlc and season pass? That’s ridiculous. Companies need to start selling full games for a fixed price weather it be 50-70$ none of this dlc standard edition gold edition deluxe edition bs. I understand this had nothing to do with Sony . Just game companies in general. Just wanted to see if anyone else realized how much money their actually making. And they act like they hardly make any money at all.. haha

    This is a meh month, but you get them sometimes. I do not have an Xbox and have not had one since the original one. With that said even if Xbox has a meh month they are still your games. So there is no comparison to Xbox Gold and PlayStation+ when it comes to games. With PlayStation you are paying a rental fee for the games you get, Xbox is a purchase. Let your subscription cance with PlayStation, no more games. Xbox, games still there. So quit comparing the two. Just enjoy them good or not. You can threaten to unsubscribe and go to Xbox all you want it will not change anything.

    I don’t see why people say they’re switching to xbox because of the games lineup. Both consoles offer pretty much the same games just on a different month. I know this because i have several games on both consoles the same. And all from the free games selections

    @JoeEffect — did you own a PlayStation when PS+ first became a “thing?” The monthly offering of free games wasn’t even part of the deal then. You’re not paying for the free games, you’re paying for the ability to game online with your friends via Sony’s network. Sure, if you’re playing Destiny you’re utilizing Bungie’s specialized, “revolutionary” networking features, but before you get to Bungie’s servers, you have to connect to Sony’s. It costs money to build a maintain a network, especially one that operates on a scale as massive as Sony’s. To say you’re “not using the service” just because you don’t like the *free games* you’re being offered as a perk of the service folks paid for before the perk even existed (which Sony absolutely DOES NOT have to offer to you — and before you say they’d lose customers if they didn’t offer it, consider that XBox Live was a paid service long before PlayStation Plus EVER was, and XBox 360 was one of the most successful consoles in the history of home-gaming), you’re literally using the service every time you hop into a party or play with/against another human being online.

    Enjoy your xbox, and good riddance you *entitled brat.*

    Letter Quest, yay! I have almost all of the achievements on the XBone and almost bought it for Playstation as well. Glad I waited. I already have EGttR, but Deadly Tower of Monsters sounds like it could be interesting.

    Raised the cost of PS+ subscription and now they’re back to regular and MEH games, they don’t even have good “discounts” for Plus users, mostly discounts for general accounts. An I’ve seen discounts with blue label instead yellow, a lot!

    I like the line up, try playing some games sometime before bashing them based on reviews. Also to the xbox jumpers, I just did my math and well my PS4 was free based on the philosophy you are complaining about.

    Let me explain, I got the PS3 at launch, I did not get the PS4 until about 6 months ago. The PS4 bundle I bought (two controllers and two games) was $400 from Gamestop. The 9.5 years I played PS3 online for FREE over xbox subscription saved $475.

    Servers are expensive, I was always waiting for PS3 to charge…but it is still free, so now I have essentially a free console with a subscribtion service that happens to come with 6 free games a month, many of them cross buy for ps3 ps4 and vita, which I recommend buying the pstv for, well worth it.

    I’m pretty happy with the PS4 games this month. Everybody’s gone to the rapture has been on my list for a while. I’m also excited to try out the PS Vita games because just got one. :D

    Please consider the Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited for December’s Free PS4 games. With the release of Skyrim Remastered, I’m sure some people will be looking to expand their experience to Online. Please.

    The amount of people that complain about games we are getting for free (yes, we pay a subscription, but that is for more – much more – that just the PS+ games each month). Games that the majority probably haven’t even given a go yet and games they are “meh” about now, but once played will benefit from the experience.

    Also, it’s all to easy forget that your PS+ subscription gets you discounts on dozens of games every single month, with those discounts sometimes being as much as 70-75% off the standard price.

    If you don’t like it, don’t pay for the subscription. If you do pay for the subscription, make sure you’re using it to the full potential across the entirety of PSN.

    A little bit disappointing, I appreciate indies as much as the next guy but I’m starting to scratch my head thinking back to the last time we got a big triple A game from ps+, my disc drive currently doesn’t read discs so I’m becoming reliant on digital games, I hope we get something better next month

    Well, I can say I haven’t played the majority of what we’re getting here, but yeah, it is not the greatest line up. Plus is kind of like those online mail order mystery boxes, you pay money for it but you don’t REALLY what’s in there. I don’t subscribe to plus just for the games really but I know a lot of people do. I enjoy the discounts and also the ability to play online. The free games each month are just an extra for me, and sometimes, we do get really good stuff. It all adds up and, to me, is totally worth the cost.

    I really wish there were 2 tiers of ps+
    I really don’t want to pay for all these games I’ll never play while my online experience is the only reason to pay for this goddawful service. I’m sure some people get value out of those games, but I am already heavily invested in games I actually want to pay for.

    HAHAHA wow, the amount of entitlement is amazing XD

    Anyone who thinks we’re going to get AAA titles is completely off their head. If you honestly think XBOX is any better… well good luck with that. There’re some proper gems that are in the line ups, sure it’s only occasionally, but what do you honestly expect? We’ve had Lords of the Fallen and RE in the last couple of months, and now Gone to the Rapture… regardless of what your personal taste is (I’m not really a fan of any of those myself) I don’t see how you can be that mad with the line ups. They really are not THAT bad.
