A New Year and a new set of games coming to PlayStation Plus members! This month we have the excellent Day of the Tentacle Remastered and This War of Mine: The Little Ones.
First up, we have the zany Day of the Tentacle Remastered. This is a mind-bending, time traveling, puzzle adventure in which three unlikely friends work together to prevent an evil mutated purple tentacle from taking over the world. Originally released in 1993, this remastered game is a classic and not be missed.
Now, if you are looking for something a bit more serious, look no further than This War of Mine: The Little Ones. Play as a group of civilians trying to survive in a city under siege while struggling to collect food and medicine. Make life-and-death choices driven by your conscience, while dealing with the constant dangers of war.

This war of mine is a very heavy game imo… I had to feel a bit numb just to get by on the game and now they added kids! i just… T__T
Can we get some kind of vote in what we get. Im pretty sure that happened at least once in recent history for ps+. I understand its and indie classic for some, but point and click games are not good console games to the majority. As for the AAA games, give us 2-3 dead AAA games a year. We have gotten a total of 1 since the system came out and the price of being able to play online went up. Older AAA games are cheaper then the indie games you give us so come on. You raised the price and promised nothing new in conection, nothing new in service, just give us some better games please.

Also december for xbox live they got sleeping dogs outlast outland and burnout paradise. Wtf sony pickup your game. I get it some people like these types of games but do you really think you can just give up on it now. Xbox has such a better lineup.

Those saying price doesnt matter; of course it does! If a game has been on sale multiple times for only a few dollars, its safe to assume that anyone that has any interest in these games would have bought and played them. while on the oppodite side its safe to assume if someone would not pay only a few dollars for a game then they apparently have no interest and place no value in the game. Its really common sense; Playstation really needs to get a hold of this cuz these last games have been garbage.
what is the point of free games when it is crap every single month? i rather see no free games at and a reduced cost or even a point system where you can trade in points for games you actually like.

I am so tired of the garbage indy games from Playstation. Just bought an x box one and it has way better free games….When are you going to release something decent…I can play all the Indy garbage I want for free on my cell phone…Not renewing my year membership this time…and for the fan boys
..the games are not free. We collectively pay a fee for playable games not garbage…..
It would be nice if they put good games for free like that one time they put out NBA 2k16. I mean not a great game but had a decent name behind it right. If they put out better free games more people would join ps plus which means more profit.
Absolute ****! Never even gonna waste time to que them in downloads. There was once a time that psn gave free hitman and tomb raider! Since last couple of years it’s absolute worthless garbage. Contemplating on buying me a “sux- box 1”. Backward compatibility, better lineups picture in picture … seems no reason to stay Sony….I guess loyalty since ps 1 means nothing to you!

Just signed up for PSN for the first time since I’ve had my PS4. I’d like to at least give these games a try before month’s end. Anyone have honest opinions on how good / bad they are?

Horrendous. I think we all understand that there aren’t going to be A+ titles every other month but this is just months and months of friggin GARBAGE games. Only worthy game I can remember in the last year was NBA2k16 and ever since then it’s been trash. Why can’t they throw in a watch dogs or a red dead redemption to actually make ps plus worthy? These “games” SUCK!!!!
I personally think most people complain about about indie games simply because they are too hard . I personally enjoy indie games and have no problem paying for the subscription . Now that being said not all games are good indie that is. But at least give the free games a try you might be suprised.
Still waiting for a decent lineup to convince me to get this service…..looks like I’ll have to keep waiting.
Titan Souls is fun. Can’t say I am a fan of the others. Whatever. The only real reason I have PS+ is to be able to play online. Still. I don’t mind a good game here or there. Call me whatever you want but I’m getting a bit tired of the constant indies, lol.
don’t think tim schafer is a name serious gamers would know. monkey island is like the one game my friend who hates videogames was ok with, psychnoauts was the one game my uncle didn’t think was a waste of time. pretty sure serious gamers play games that challenge them to improve at something, think on their feet or give them a challenge to work towards

Can i just say that the subscription games have been a bit lacking lately? I’d prefer one decent title every so often as opposed to a bunch of indies. I think that might be the case for a lot of other people too?
Classic Ps1 And Ps2 games would be great :)
