It’s always fun to see what a new game console can do. Seeing as PlayStation 4 isn’t even a year old yet, a few studios based in Santa Monica wanted to bring their award-winning games to the PS4. Read below for the details on two very special announcements from two great studios that are part of the PlayStation family.
God of War defined the word “epic” like no other when it debuted on PS2 in 2005, introducing an iconic character to PlayStation fans worldwide — Kratos. Once the servant of Ares (who saved the Spartan General and his army from annihilation in battle), Kratos was tricked into murdering his family, forcing his metamorphosis into the “Ghost of Sparta.”
If you missed our first announcement, then hear us roar again. For the first time ever, five of PlayStation’s Worldwide Studios community teams have banded together to construct a community focused booth at PAX East. Additionally, there will be some great PS4 and PS Vita games showing at PAX from some of our talented indie developers as well, which we will detail below. The PlayStation family will be in booth #608 at the Boston Convention Center April 11-13.
PlayStation All-Stars fans, the ultimate balance update is here. With more than 100 balance adjustments combined across all characters, and a wave of additional improvements, this update creates a new playing field for all challengers. Click here to see the full changelist in this patch.

We have supported God of War: Ascension Multiplayer since its release on March 12, 2013, as a result of the unrelenting passion and everlasting “fire” you have poured into the battlefield since Day 1.
