Hey UNCHARTED fans, as you know we kicked off our advertising campaign for UNCHARTED 3: Drake’s Deception right here with you, our loyal PlayStation.Blog readers back in September. Since then,you’ve been “feasting” your eyes on our fantastic 15 second spot for Subway starring noneother than Nathan Drake himself, as well as his cameo in Subway’s 30 second”AnyTober” spot gracing tv’s all over the country right now.

Tonight marks the beginning of our advertising campaign for UNCHARTED 3: Drake’s Deception. I’m really excited to get to share with you loyal PlayStation.Blog readers a special sneak peek at our first television spot for the campaign that will “kick off” tonight. And where exactly would be the best place for a kick-off? Well, how about during the 2011 NFL Kickoff game tonight between the Packers and Saints? This UNCHARTED 3 spot was created 100% from in-game footage – what do you think? Be sure to let us know in the comments.

We have a lot of great things lined up for UNCHARTED 3, and this is just the beginning. Look for this spot to air tonight with the kick-off game, and also with your favorite shows including the season premiere of the Simpsons and many more!

inFAMOUS Now $39.99 + Gigawatt Blades Coming Free to PSN

If you didn’t get a chance to check out this summer’s superhero action-adventure blockbuster from Sucker Punch Productions, well, now is the perfect time to do so. Just in time for the holidays, we’re excited to announce that inFAMOUS is now available for $39.99.

If the new price point’s not incentive enough, beginning on December 10th, Cole’s ‘Gigawatt Blades’ Super Power, will become available for FREE on PlayStation Network. The Gigawatt Blades supercharge Cole’s arm into blades of pure energy which can be used to cause massive damage against enemies during melee combat.

In other inFAMOUS news, the official game soundtrack which features three previously unreleased bonus tracks will be released December 8th to retail outlets through Sumthing Else Music Works and is now available for digital download on Sumthing Digital.

We know you’ve been waiting. We feel your pain. But now the time has finally come — let’s give away some UNCHARTED 2: Among Thieves Fortune Hunter Editions!

A huge thanks to everyone who participated in the contest. As you know, we randomly drew names from the demo weekend contest as well as the first weekend after UNCHARTED 2‘s release. In short, there were a ridiculous amount of FHE’s up for grabs. New UNCHARTED 2: Among Thieves TV Commercial

I’m hoping that most of you have already bought your copy of UNCHARTED 2: Among Thieves and have been burning the midnight oil playing it. We’d love to hear your thoughts on the game.

UNCHARTED 2 Demo Ended – More Chances to Win the Fortune Hunter Edition

Hey UNCHARTED fans,

Hope you guys have been enjoying the multiplayer demo these past two weeks. Remember that UNCHARTED 2: Among Thieves goes on sale as early as midnight tonight at over 800 GameStop stores (Check here for store locations).

The main reason for this post is that we just got word that the multiplayer demo ended earlier today and unfortunately we won’t be able to get it back up before the game launches. So for those who wanted to get on and play some UNCHARTED 2 multiplayer goodness, you’re going to have to wait a few short hours till the game goes on sale.

I know we had a contest running with a chance to win 10 Fortune Hunter Editions every day Saturday through Monday…so here is what we’re going to do. For Saturday and Sunday we’re going to increase the number of Fortune Hunter Edition prizes from 10 to 20 each day. For Monday, we’re going to honor the contest by drawing 10 winners from all those who logged on this morning.

Chances to win the Fortune Hunter Edition don’t stop there. This weekend, if you own the game and are planning to play online, we’ll be randomly drawing names Friday – Sunday with a total of 30 Fortune Hunter Editions up for grabs. Contest rules to follow. UNCHARTED 2 Officially Goes Gold, Plus Sneak-Peek Cinema Events!

UNCHARTED 2: Among Thieves has officially gone gold in North America! That means only 32 days until it hits store shelves. I couldn’t be more proud of the teams at Naughty Dog and Sony who have put their lives on hold to make a truly exceptional game.

If you can’t wait until October 13th, SCEA and Sony Electronics have partnered to produce four exclusive “sneak peek” events that bring UNCHARTED 2: Among Thieves to the big screen before launch. At these VIP events, attendees will join Naughty Dog in a night of food, fun and Multiplayer tournaments with the chance to win lots of cool prizes—including the Fortune Hunter Edition. Attendees will also have the chance to play UNCHARTED 2 on the ultimate high definition big screen, powered by Sony Electronics 4K digital cinema technology, which provides image resolution four times greater than any high-definition consumer television out there. Sony Electronics is working with major theaters across the country to create “digital destinations”, pairing 4K digital cinema technology with enhanced services and amenities, such as food, sporting events and music, to create an unprecented entertainment experience.
