This week’s PlayStation Store update brings amazing content all around starting with the PSN Exclusive Rochard. Combining amazing action, unique art direction, and an original toolbox of game mechanics to bring something truly original to PSN, you’ll want to make sure you play it yourself, or at least check out the demo. PlayStation Plus subscribers will also be able to snag this IGN recommended title a 20% discount for the first two weeks that Rochard is in the Store.
The Resident Evil 15th Anniversary celebrations continue with Resident Evil Code Veronica X HD hitting the Store as well. The definitive version of this landmark Resident Evil title provides the best way to experience this harrowing adventure; complete with Trophy support and HD visuals. Hilarious women and new television headline what’s new this week!
Get your laugh on in New Releases the summer’s breakout comedy hit Bridesmaids. This week, we help celebrate the 15th Anniversary of Resident Evil with a ton of new releases and specials around the network! Least of which is the release of Resident Evil 4 on PSN. The modern classic has been revamped with a visual upgrade, full Trophy support, and the same harrowing gameplay that helped this title redefine action games. If you’re a PlayStation Plus subscriber, you’ll also have access to the 50% discount, day 1 for 1 week only, so don’t wait!
While you’re looking at new PSN releases, keep an eye out for Burnout Crash! and Cubixx HD. Burnout Crash! brings the arcade racer’s attention fully focused on, well…the crashes! With the Autolog feature integrated, you’ll have a blast piling up wrecks and comparing them with your friends. On the other hand, there’s Cubixx HD, the beautiful puzzle game that will have you analyzing your tactics in all 3 dimensions. Thundering warriors and a new girl highlight what’s new this week!
New Releases features the summer blockbuster Thor featuring Chris Hemsworth (Star Trek) in the title role. The mighty warrior is outcast by his father from his privileged life in Asgard and must adjust to a humbled life on Earth. Natalie Portman (Black Swan), Tom Hiddleston (Midnight in Paris), Anthony Hopkins (The Wolfman) and Stellan Skarsgård (Angels & Demons) join the cast. You can even extend the action into the third dimension under Available in 3D.
You can catch the pilot episode of the hilarious new sitcom New Girl starring Zooey Deschanel ((500) Days of Summer) this week for free in TV Shows before the series premieres next week on Fox. The new girl Jess moves in with three single guys to revamp her life after her surprise breakup with her boyfriend.

This week’s update brings the final title of the PlayStation Network PLAY event: SEGA’s Renegade Ops! Blending frantic top-down gameplay, a crazy variety of vehicles and weapons, and lest we forget the 4 player co-op; Renegade Ops ends PSN PLAY with a bang! As part of PSN PLAY, PlayStation Plus subscribers can snag the title for 20% off, while everyone will have free access to a Vehicle & Character DLC Pack, if the game is purchased or was pre-ordered before 9/19.

Mutants, assassins and chopper riders dominate this week!
This week, New Releases welcomes the summer blockbuster X-Men: First Class.
