You might’ve heard some big news from Capcom at our first ever PlayStation Experience fan expo. No, not that news. This: Resident Evil Revelations 2 is coming to PS Vita, and Ultra Street Fighter IV is coming to PS4, thanks to a double partnership between Capcom and SCEA’s Third Party Production.
Throughout 2014, the Third Party Production team has been working with our partners across the game industry to bring all kinds of exciting, diverse and fun titles to our favorite portable powerhouse.
It’s been a few weeks since we launched Borderlands 2 for PS Vita and so far we’ve been overwhelmed by the community response. We’re happy to announce that title update 1.04 is available today, which should further improve the overall Borderlands 2 PS Vita experience and addresses some of the feedback from you the fans.
We’re excited to announce that the award-winning, fan-favorite, role-playing-shooter will be available via the Borderlands 2 Limited Edition PlayStation Vita Bundle on May 6th, and digitally on PlayStation Store and at retailers nationwide on May 13th.
Moments ago, Adam Boyes introduced the latest addition to the Third Party Relations family at Playstation, a new group that I get to captain called Third Party Production. The Third Party Relations team at PlayStation is well known for developing solid relationships across this industry, and this new group will work closely with our publishing partners to bring their beloved IPs to some new places. This means you’ll see even more great games on PlayStation platforms, including new IP’s, ports, and localized products. In addition, our partners who are currently in production will have us as a resource to strengthen their development process, ensuring quality and consistency on all Third Party projects.
