We’ve been hard at work with our colleagues over at Capital One to create a credit card with rewards designed with PlayStation fans in mind. That’s why I’m excited to officially introduce the PlayStation Card to you today!

This weekend, Disney celebrated the re-launch of the re-imagined ESPN Wide World of Sports complex in suburban Orlando, Florida. As part of the newly revamped, state-of-the-art facility, we’ve teamed up with Disney to create an exclusive game pavilion for all things PlayStation.

The PlayStation Pavilion at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex showcases an evolving line-up of the latest PlayStation games including favorites from our publishing partners and our first party studios. The PlayStation Pavilion will play host to some of our biggest titles and PlayStation exclusives such as UNCHARTED 2: Among Thieves, MLB 10: The Show, inFAMOUS, Buzz! Quiz World, LittleBigPlanet, and MAG all on 40” TVs in glorious HD. The Pavilion is also outfitted with its own stage where you can grab the mic and jam to your favorite tunes.

We’ll also be working with Disney to host on-site tournaments and “gamer nights,” where leader boards positioned throughout ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex will keep you apprised of the latest standings and give others a chance to challenge your high score.

Disney says it best, sometimes you really do have to see to believe. Fortunately, we were on-site for the Hollywood-style ‘green’ carpet re-launch event and managed to sneak in a few shots of what awaits you just outside the Magic Kingdom. Hope to see your name on the leader board soon!

Simply open up the Web browser on the PS3, and enter the following URL: www.youtube.com/tv (note: this link will not work from a PC or Mac, only from a PS3) and hit enter. Now you’re good to go! You’ll notice a new YouTube interface that allows you to watch videos in full-screen. With enlarged text and simplified navigation, it makes watching YouTube on your TV as easy and intuitive as possible. Here’s a helpful video that guides you through the process:

We’re working closely with the YouTube team to make a more PlayStation-centric version of the YouTube TV Website page accessible from the lefthand menu bar (the YouTube button currently takes you to our branded channel on YouTube). What makes your house feel like home? For many of the readers of this blog, the answer probably includes your living room video game set-up. Major League Baseball’s Washington Nationals just moved into their new home – Nationals Park – and they, too, have a killer gaming den: The PlayStation Pavilion.

Located in the “Strike Zone” near the Center Field Gate, this 3000 square foot PS3 paradise is a good reason to get to the stadium early. Opening 2 ½ hours before the first pitch, Nationals supporters (or visiting Phillies or Mets fans) can duke it out in MLB 08 The Show, test drive Gran Turismo 5 Prologue, or – and I’m sure this will be entertaining after several innings’ worth of beer sales – try out the Guitar Hero III and SingStar stages. Some SingStar singers will actually end up on the JumboTron!
