On the first day of Christmas my true love sent to me: A Partridge in a Pear Tree. On the second day of Christmas we got divorced. Which worked out quite nicely because that freed up my spare time for the third day of Christmas, on which date PlayStation gave to me: a driving game where you have to race multiple tracks at the same time!
40+ games detailed from PlayStation Experience 2016. Lara Croft GO, Yonder, Yakuza Kiwami and more.
Good afternoon, Susan. I trust that your kickoff meeting ran smoothly this morning and that you enjoyed your zesty chicken salad for lunch. Apologies, I am being somewhat presumptuous. Allow me to introduce myself first: my name is Gordon Midwood, I am Head of Everything at Different Cloth and I bring the most excellent news. […]
You know that feeling in the pit of your stomach you get when you read the words “you know that feeling in the pit of your stomach you get”? Yes, that’s the one. The one you’re feeling right now in the pit of your stomach. Well it’s time to put that feeling to good use because Derrick the Deathfin is now 25% off for one week only!
Since his release in October last year, Derrick has been slowly building in reputation, garnering some great reviews and adoring fans along the way. Sales have continued to improve as the game becomes more known too which is great. We know a PS Vita version would be super cool as well, we are still looking into that — is that something you’d be interested in? What’s more, we have some ideas for a sequel that would see Derrick indulging in some intergalactic mischief…
At the best of times, being a teenage shark constructed entirely of paper isn’t easy. For Derrick, having just witnessed the brutal soupification of his parents, this was the worst of times.
Join Derrick on his demented rampage through an insane paper world! Consume, collect, fight, jump and race your paper face through 32 levels of challenging cutout craziness! Meet, greet and eat all manner of goofy paper characters! Decimate man-made mega structures in an orgy of corrugated destruction! Duel to the death with big brittle baddies! Propel yourself into the air like a penguin strapped to a rocket!
At Different Tuna, we’ve been working astonishingly hard to bring you PSN‘s premier underwater papercraft action game — Derrick the Deathfin. We have 32 handcrafted levels and three level types, set across four challenging continents, with each level being increasingly fiendish and colourful in its design. On October 9th this world can be yours to explore, for $7.99.
You know that feeling when you’re sitting on a roller coaster, slowly ascending, just in sight of the summit? That’s what you’re feeling right now. This time though, the ride is going to be much wilder than anything you’ve experienced before, and everything on the way down is going to be made out of paper.
To succeed you must fight, jump, race and eat your way through a myriad of confusingly textured circumstances. Good luck!
Derrick the Deathfin is the world’s very first underwater papercraft game. The action – of which there is plenty – takes place in an irreverent aquatic world full of paper, goofy fish, paper, arcade action, paper, wanton destruction, and paper.*
After Derrick’s parents are brutally turned into soup he sets forth on a worldwide rampage of destruction in order to make himself feel a bit better. On his travels he eats all manner of dopey delights for dinner, duels with paper enemies and decimates man-made cardboard monstrosities. Derrick also has a distinct fondness for picking up diamonds and jumping through burning tyres in the sky. Just like a real shark!
Derrick journeys through 32 beautiful, vibrant levels set across 11 environments and four continents. He is in a constant battle against his metabolism, needing to constantly eat to stay alive. He must move, groove, jump, race and puzzle his way through increasingly crazy challenges to attain paper-shark certified glory.
