Hey everybody, this is Jakub from Grip Games. Our newest game, Atomic Ninjas, is almost ready, and I return to the PlayStation.Blog today to finally announce the release date and price! Atomic Ninjas will be launched for PS3 on October 8th for $9.99! It will launch on PS Vita one week later, and it’ll be cross buy.
Atomic Ninjas is a hilarious, fast-paced, 2.5D multiplayer platformer where you cannot directly kill other players. Instead, you have to push them into various deathtraps, hazards, pitfalls, and other general risks to public safety, which we have placed all around the game’s seven arenas for your killing pleasure.
This is Jakub from Grip Games. A few weeks ago, I introduced you to our newest creation – Atomic Ninjas, for PS3 and PS Vita. I’m back with the very first gameplay trailer, to show you exactly what Atomic Ninjas is all about!
This is Jakub from Grip Games! We’re the folks behind 5-in-1 Arcade Hits, The Impossible Game and Foosball 2012. And after being locked up in our top secret underground lab (A.K.A. the garage) for some time, we’re back with our newest creation – Atomic Ninjas! For PS3 and PS Vita.
Foosball 2012 is another entry in the line of not-so-typical-for-a-console-game sports, like darts, bowling, pool, or golf that we have seen recently on the PlayStation Store. If you weren’t sure which platform to get the game on, we think you’ll appreciate that when you buy the game for PS3, you’ll get the PS Vita version for free and the other way around!
A lot of people ask us “Why foosball?” and we keep telling them “Why not?” Other games that wouldn’t seem to be well-suited to a console experience managed to capture the essence of those games, and we hope to do the same with Foosball 2012.
Hey everyone, Jakub from Grip Games here. For the past few weeks, I’ve been keeping you up-to-date with news about our upcoming PS3 and PS Vita game Foosball 2012. Today, I can finally tell you when the game will be released and how much it will cost!
You’ll be able to scratch that foosball itch on July 24th, when the game launches on the PlayStation Store. It will cost you only $7.99 for which will get both the PS3 version and the PS Vita version, so you’ll be able to fully enjoy the awesome cross-platform features we have implemented in the game.
Over the past couple of weeks we’ve taken you through the controls and cross-platform features, so this time we’re going to dive into the multiplayer and single-player modes.
Real-world table football is the most fun when you play it with friends, and that’s something we definitely took into account when developing Foosball 2012. Up to four players can play locally at the same time, whether that’s two for each team or other combinations like 1 vs. 1 or 2 vs. AI or 2 vs. 1 and so forth. It’s also possible for some of the players to play with PlayStation Move and others with DualShock 3.
I’m back to share more details about Foosball 2012! Specifically, to introduce the cross-platform functionalities between PS3 and PS Vita. We didn’t want to have a game that has a version for PS3 and a separate version for PS Vita. We wanted an experience where you don’t need to worry about which device you are currently using, because you get exactly the same game — including your current progress, unlocks, and DLC — every time you play, regardless of whether you are currently on PS3 or PS Vita.
First of all, when you buy Foosball 2012, you’ll get it for both the PS3 and PS Vita for a price of a single PSN game. The same applies for additional content that you will be able to buy. Purchase the game once and you can use it on both the PS3 and PS Vita.
