You’ve played the role of the Empress’ protector, and now you will experience Dishonored from the other side of the coin. Watch our newly released trailer for Dishonored: The Knife of Dunwall, which puts you in the role of Daud — the assassin responsible for Empress Jessamine’s death.

Those that have played through Dishonored know Daud possesses the Mark of the Outsider — granting him supernatural abilities. But don’t expect to be playing as a Corvo clone — Daud can call for help with ‘Summon Assassin’, track down runes and bone charms with “Void Gaze”, and his variation on Blink allows him to stop time — even in mid air.

You’ll needs these powers, as well as stealth weapons like Daud’s custom wristbow and arc mines to survive some of the most challenging areas in Dunwall — including the Rothwild Slaughterhouse, Legal District, and a return to Daud’s hidden base in the Flooded District. Nothing you can’t handle, right?

As with Dishonored, we encourage you to play The Knife of Dunwall in whatever play style suits you best — be it action or stealth focused, or somewhere in between. Daud’s redemption (or turn towards darkness) lays in your hands.

The Knife of Dunwall releases on Tuesday, April 16th on PlayStation Store for $9.99.

Last but not least, each add-on will be 50% off during its launch week on PSN.

Ready to learn more about the content you’ll be playing? Here’s a quick overview:

Dragonborn

In Dragonborn, you’ll journey off the coast of Morrowind, to the island of Solstheim. Encounter new towns, dungeons, and quests, as you traverse the ash wastes and glacial valleys of this new land. Become more powerful with shouts that bend the will of your enemies, and even tame dragons. Your fate, and the fate of Solstheim, hangs in the balance as you face off against your deadliest adversary – the first Dragonborn.

Explore Beyond Skyrim – Leave the province of Skyrim and travel to the coastal island of Solstheim. Encounter the Dark Elven settlers of Raven Rock and the native Skaal, as you unravel the mystery of a Dragonborn’s return.

Become the Ultimate Dragonborn – Harness the power of the Voice as you face off against the first Dragonborn.
New dungeons, creatures, weapons, and more – Suit up in Bonemold and Chitin armors and wield Stalhrim weapons as you navigate through a myriad of dungeons. Battle formidable foes like Ash Spawn, Rieklings, and more.

Hearthfire

In Hearthfire, you can purchase land and build your own home from the ground up – from a simple one-room cottage to a sprawling compound complete with an armory, alchemy laboratory, stable, garden, and more. Use all-new tools like the drafting table and carpenter’s workbench to transform quarried stone, clay, and sawn logs into structures and furnishings. Even transform your house into a home by adopting children.

Choose Your Land – Choose from property in the salt marshes of Hjaalmarch, the forests of Falkreath, or the vast tundra of The Pale. For the more ambitious landowner, purchase multiple plots and start building a real estate empire.

Customize Your Home – Expand your home with a variety of room combinations including an armory, alchemy tower, kitchen, trophy room and more. Grow plants in your new greenhouse, cultivate slaughterfish in the fish hatchery, house your Arcane Enchanter in the enchanting tower, or display your latest conquest in the trophy room. Add additional features like stables, mills, smelters, gardens and more.

New Objectives and Interactions – Guard your home from unwanted visitors like marauding kidnappers, armed bandits, and skeever infestations. Turn almost any follower into your personal steward to improve and protect your home. Or if you require more help, hire a personal bard or carriage driver to ease the burdens of home ownership.

Adoption – Transform your house into a home with Hearthfire’s all-new adoption system. Adopt children and discover new ways to interact with your family. Play games with the kids, allow them to have pets and gain new bonuses from having a family.

Dawnguard

In Dawnguard, you’ll face the Vampire Lord Harkon, who has returned to power. By using the Elder Scrolls, he seeks to do the unthinkable — end the sun itself. Will you join the ancient order of the Dawnguard and stop him? Or will you become a Vampire Lord yourself? Featuring an all new faction questline and locations, the ultimate choice will be yours.

New Weapons, Armor, Spells and Shouts – Join the Dawnguard and wield all new crossbows and craft your own arrows, bolts, and Dragonbone weapons. Use new weapons, armor, spells and shouts, including the Soul Tear shout – that rips the souls from your enemies and turns them into your minions.

Become a Vampire Lord – Side with the vampires and become a Vampire Lord yourself. Hover across the ground, turn yourself into bats, levitate your enemies as you drain their life, and more. The Vampire Lord features its own upgradable perk system.

Werewolf Perks added – Playing as a werewolf now has its own upgradable perk system including Bestial Strength, Animal Vigor, and Savage Feeding.

New Locations and Creatures – Choose from two new fortresses to upgrade and call home, Castle Volkihar or Fort Dawnguard. Discover lost valleys and travel to a new realm of Oblivion, the Soul Cairn. Battle new creatures including Death Hounds, Gargoyles, Armored Trolls, and all new vampires and dragons.

Read below for a quick overview of the Challenge Maps:

Assassin’s Run: A true test for accomplished crossbow users, you’ll need to quickly eliminate targets as you move through the level. Just be careful not to kill any civilians.

Mystery Foe: Collect the map’s four clues without being discovered to investigate which NPC is your assassination target. Complete the level by successfully completing the assassination.

Bend Time Massacre: Each round of this challenge map begins with your character peering through glass and learning your assassination goal. Once you break the glass, the “Bend Time” effect will begin and you’ll need to race against the clock to complete the objective. Attain higher scores by completing the Bonus Round at the end of each objective.

Burglars: Sneak into a mansion (easier said than done) to recover six Clockwork Eggs and as many valuables as you can. Make sure you’re not detected – three strikes and you’re out.

Bonfires: This one is for Blink experts. With the clock running, touch as many light beacons as you can.

Oil Drop: Be quick on the draw to destroy waves of oil tanks tossed from above. You’ll have to be handy with the steel if you know what I mean.

Train Runner: A true test of agility, you’ll need to be faster than a speeding bullet in this race to outrun a locomotive.

Back Alley Brawl: Put all your offensive abilities to the test as you battle hordes of enemies, round after round.

Kill Chain Massacre: Kill a high number of enemies in a continuous chain using the environment and/or your powers. Take your time before each round to map out a killing-combo strategy. Once you make your first kill, it’s a race against the clock.

Kill Cascade: Perform a series of drop assassinations as you try to reach the end of the run as fast as possible. Perfecting this challenge is no easy task, but it ends with a surprise twist.

As you complete challenges, you’ll receive a completion rating and score and be able to see how you stack up against the competition via leaderboards. Additionally, Dunwall City Trials unlocks 10 new trophies, including:

Mr. Pilsen’s Remorse: You found Emily’s doll hidden in each of the 10 challenges

Void Start: You completed all Normal and Expert challenges with a 3-Stars rating

By My Hand Alone: You made it to Wave 13 in Back Alley Brawl killing all combatants personally

Assassin vs. Machine: You completed Train Runner before the train arrives at the station

Rare Collector: You found all of the collectable figurines in Burglar on Expert

Long Way Down: You performed a drop assassination of at least 150 meters in the Kill Cascade challenge

Headhunter: You completed Assassin’s Run with 100% accuracy using only head shots

Daredevil: In Bonfires, you performed all the special combination jumps in 1 round

Natural Talent: You finished Mystery Foe without using any active supernatural powers

Time Management: You finished Chain Kill or Bend Time Massacre without failing any wave, including bonuses

Dishonored puts you in the role of Corvo Attano, bodyguard of the Empress of Dunwall. A pretty good gig... until you're falsely accused of killing her, kidnapping her daughter, and subsequently imprisoned and tortured by the sinister Lord Regent. Despite this, you remain the best hope for saving Dunwall, where plague is rampant and the city is on the verge of dystopia.

Early in your adventure, you will receive "The Outsider's Mark" -- a mysterious tattoo on your left hand that grants you supernatural abilities.

In one day, we will release Dishonored, our new first-person action game developed by the talented team at Arkane Studios. Dishonored puts you in the role of Corvo Attano, bodyguard of the Empress of Dunwall. A pretty good gig… until you’re falsely accused of killing her, kidnapping her daughter, and subsequently imprisoned and tortured by the sinister Lord Regent. Despite this, you remain the best hope for saving Dunwall, where plague is rampant and the city is on the verge of dystopia.

Early in your adventure, you will receive “The Outsider’s Mark” — a mysterious tattoo on your left hand that grants you supernatural abilities. As you progress through the game, this mark will allow you to unlock new abilities, each of which can be upgraded to a second level for improved functionality.

Below is a look at two of the development team’s favorite abilities:

Devouring Swarm

Devouring Swarm summons a vicious swarm of rats that will consume corpses or attack the nearest living thing. Level two summons a larger, more vicious swarm of rats.

Wind Blast

Wind Blast releases a powerful blast of wind, knocking your enemies off their feet. This power will also douse fires, shatter wooden doors, and reflect projectiles back at the enemy who fired them. Level two increases the power of the blast.

Have questions about the game? Let us know in the comments below. And if you’re looking to play the game tomorrow, don’t forget it’s available as a PSN Day 1 title!

The Mojave Wasteland is a dangerous and desolate place… so you feel the need for some companionship during your adventure. Like Fallout 3, New Vegas allows you to have one humanoid and one non-humanoid companion at any time.

Perk: Better Healing – While Arcade is a companion, the player regains more health from all sources.

Description: Arcade is highly ethical and moral, but he understands the post apocalyptic world is one in which sometimes, people just have to be shot in the head. Most of Arcade’s concerns about the world around him have to do with large-scale issues rather than the needs of individuals. While he appreciates what individual people go through, he firmly believes that it’s more important to affect large-scale societal change than fix problems little by little.

Description: Boone is a town guard and former NCR sharpshooter, bitterly whittling away the hours until he can find out who’s responsible for his wife’s death — and kill them. Hardened and psychologically troubled from his time in the NCR military, Boone vacillates between being a stone-cold killer and a decent human being. Venturing out from the relative safety of Novac brings Boone into close contact with his old life until he is forced to deal with the tragic events that caused him to leave the military.

Cass

She’s smart, tough, and steady with a gun, but she hasn’t been savvy enough to survive the ruthless caravan wars that have flared up in Nevada since NCR’s expansion. Though she’s quick to join up with the player for some easy money, she’s still interested in finding out if she’s been suffering from bad luck or something more sinister.

Lily

Raul

Full Name: Raul Alfonso Tejada

Sex: Male

Race: Ghoul

Ethnicity: Meztiso

Age: 230

Sex: Female

Age: 27

Ethnicity: Caucasian

Profession: Journeyman Scribe, Procurement Specialist, Brotherhood of Steel, Hidden Valley Bunker

Perk: Scribe Assistant – while Veronica is a companion, the player can craft Workbench items through Veronica’s dialogue.

Description: Unlike standard eyebots, ED-E is a highly customized “duraframe” model with hardened armor and specialized weapons. It was an eyebot on an incredible journey, carrying an enormous amount of valuable data when it was badly damaged and taken in by a Primm shop owner. Though ED-E still retains all of its data and an understanding of its mission, its internal positioning hardware is badly damaged.
