Hi everyone, Marcus from SideQuest Studios here. I’m happy to be back and share some news about our upcoming RPG Rainbow Skies.
After listening to a lot of fan feedback, we are happy to announce that we are now also developing Rainbow Skies for PS4. We plan to release Rainbow Skies with cross save support for all current PlayStation platforms (PS4, PS3, PS Vita) in the second half of 2016.

Hi everybody! This is Marcus from SideQuest Studios with some good news for PS Vita fans and shmup lovers! I’m excited to announce that we are launching an updated version of Söldner-X 2: Final Prototype along with the “The Last Chapter” expansion for Vita and PlayStation TV tomorrow. For those of you unfamiliar with the Söldner-X 2 series hopefully this trailer will get you up to speed.
It seems that many of you have been enjoying the opportunity to check out Rainbow Moon, which is currently part of the Instant Game Collection. Today, I would like to show you the first video footage of our new game Rainbow Skies on PS3 and PS Vita, which we’ve been working on for some time now.
Hi everyone! I’m excited to let you know that we are bringing our shoot ‘em up Söldner-X 2: Final Prototype to PS Vita this winter.
It’s an exciting day for SideQuest Studios and the eastasiasoft team! Our indie role-playing game, Rainbow Moon, is out today for PS Vita. And as promised in my last post, we have a lot of great offers for PS3 Rainbow Moon players and PlayStation Plus subscribers.
After we released Rainbow Moon on PS3 last year, one of the most common questions we received was “Are you going to make a Vita version?” Obviously we weren’t the only ones that believed Rainbow Moon would make a great experience for handheld platforms, and with demand being so high, we set about working on a Vita port almost immediately.
Now on PlayStation Store, pick up Street Fighter V for 25% off. Offer ends 5/2.
For a small developer like SideQuest Studios, it’s really a special event when one of our games finally hits the store following almost two years of development. We have already received amazing feedback from players in Europe, where Rainbow Moon was released a few days earlier, and we are very excited to finally bring the game to the North American PlayStation Store.
As a goodie and to further spark your interest, I have brand new stuff to show you today, including a new launch trailer and another episode of our development diary video series. I will also tell you more about Rainbow Moon‘s main characters.
In total there are six main characters you will come across during your journey.
