It’s Monday, and although our favourite feline is well-known for hating Mondays, hopefully this week he can make an exception since the Garfield and Odie Minipack is making its LittleBigPlanet debut!
The Garfield and Odie Minipack will give Sackboy two brand new costumes for his LittleBigPlanet 2 and LittleBigPlanet PS Vita adventures, as well as providing him with a variety of stickers just perfect for creating your own Garfield comic book stories.
We also have a special new theme on PlayStation Store to spruce up your PS3 with!
This dynamic theme features a set of 12 rather nifty backgrounds, one for each month of the year.

LittleBigPlanet returns this year with the eagerly anticipated Marvel Heroes Costume Pack 6, which contains Deadpool, Black Cat, Hawkeye, Dr. Doom and Sabretooth.
Combine this with our previous Marvel Costumes and there are now an absolutely astounding 30 Marvel Costumes and a Marvel Level Kit available for LittleBigPlanet!

Christmas Day is but one sleep away now, so hopefully your presents are all wrapped and under the tree, your stockings are hanging up over the fireplace and you are all ready for your annual visit from everybody’s favourite jolly old fat man!
Before you all head off early to bed though, we have some festive cheer to spread around the LittleBigPlanet community including some wonderful levels and a few other treats for everyone.

The wait is finally almost over: the LittleBigPlanet 2: Cross-Controller Pack is out today on PlayStation Store! This all-new pack will allow you to use your PS Vita as a controller on LittleBigPlanet 2 and play the game in a new and exciting way. First up, we have this brand new set of Marvel Heroes Costumes to reveal to you.
LittleBigPlanet always needs heroes and we have two brand new costume packs heading your way containing a whole bunch of new Marvel Heroes to help save the day!
This week we will be releasing Marvel Heroes Costume Pack 5 which contains Black Bolt, Black Widow, Iron Fist, Nova and Star Lord.
Not only that, we will have Marvel Heroes Costume Pack 6 containing an additional five costumes coming early in the New Year.
As an extra gift to you, we have also put together the rather nifty wallpaper that you can see above, so be sure to download it right away!

December sees yet another awesome addition to LittleBigPlanet 2 — the Cross-Controller Pack — making LittleBigPlanet 2 the first game to support this exciting new feature!
But what is Cross-Controller? Well, Cross-Controller lets you to use PS Vita as a controller for PlayStation 3, allowing the use of PS Vita-only features, like front and rear touch, in PlayStation 3 games. More importantly, it provides a whole second screen where action can take place! This allows for an unimaginable number of new ways to play, some of which you’ll experience with the LittleBigPlanet 2 Cross-Controller Pack!
In the LittleBigPlanet 2: Cross-Controller Pack, Sackboy joins up with a group of lovable Space Pirates as they race to find a valuable treasure long thought lost to the Cosmos.

Sack it to Me: Meet the Playmakers

Playmakers looks into the latest innovations for creating and learning. Some time ago they paid a visit to Media Molecule to take a look into how LittleBigPlanet is leading the way in community development and community game design.
Take a look at this video from their visit and you’ll be able to hear some of the Molecule’s very own insights on just how LittleBigPlanet is a new and exciting learning tool that has helped develop a community full of game designers and reviewers.

What a whirlwind year this has been for LittleBigPlanet, we recently released two brand new games and we’re now heading into December, which can only mean one thing — Christmas is on the way!
To help kick the festivities into gear, we will be re-releasing the Santa Costume and Festive Minipack this week, which you can use to help craft your own Christmas creations.
This is just the beginning of the fun though! The Winter Seasonal Creator Kit will be seeing a release later this month too and we even have a couple more surprises for everybody to look forward to… More news on those soon, so stay tuned!
The Mm Picks this week include some classic platforming fun which finds Sackboy in A Sticky Situation, a real-mind bending journey through reality in Gap the Mind and a wonderful puzzle game in Drop Puzzle.
