Resident Evil Revelations

Revealing a brand new storyline in this horror franchise, Resident Evil: Revelations has players investigating a deadly threat on board a stranded cruise liner in the Mediterranean. You will need to fight for survival while exploring the dark and claustrophobic environments both at sea and as the action moves to dry land.

Taking place in 2005, between the events of Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 5, the action centers on BSAA member Jill Valentine and introduces her new partner Parker Luciani. They have been sent to search for Chris Redfield, whose last known GPS data positions him as being on the ship. Far from being empty, danger lurks around every corner as Jill and Parker explore the confined space of the ship and must face a menacing new enemy that emerges from the darkness.

Call of Juarez: Gunslinger

From the dust of a gold mine to the dirt of a saloon, Call of Juarez: Gunslinger is a real homage to the Wild West tales. Live the epic and violent journey of a ruthless bounty hunter onto the trail of the West’s most notorious outlaws. Blurring the lines between man and myth, this adventure made of memorable encounters unveils the untold truth behind some of the greatest legends of the Old West.

Fast & Furious: Showdown – All missions are played in a team either with A.I. or another player. There are 31 missions taking place all around the globe with varying mission objectives. Players can take them on as they please and even just challenge themselves to best high scores from players on their friend lists.

The game features fully customizable cars. The game also offers a Challenge mode and Co-op mode. The game will not feature the movies two main protagonists; Vin Diesel or Paul Walker though.

Mugen Souls – There exists a small galaxy in the universe containing seven worlds, shimmering in seven colors.These worlds exist and act independent of one another. Greetings, doods! I hope you’ve all been well! Chris King here, dropping by to let you know that our JRPG title, Mugen Souls, is set to release on PlayStation Network on Tuesday! I’d like to briefly go over some of the game’s awesome features and mechanics for those unfamiliar with the game, and will gladly answer any questions you might have for us! Let’s get started!

The story contains all the over-the-top humor and zaniness you’ve come to expect from NISA. You’ll enter a small galaxy in the universe containing seven worlds, shimmering in seven colors… These worlds exist and act independent of one another. This has allowed them to develop and nurture rich, unique cultures. Then one day, a decree was sent out… “I’m gonna make everything in each of these worlds bow to me!” What a bold statement! But by whom, you ask? None other than the multiple-personality-having, naively egotistical yet strangely adorable Chou-Chou! Your goal as Chou-Chou is to conquer the universe by uniting these seven worlds, and force everything and everyone to become your loyal peons! An undisputed God at her finest!

The gameplay system is a nice little mixture of turn-based and free movement on the battlefield. When you want to deal some hardcore damage, get ready for some zany fun! You can initiate group attacks, similar to the Disgaea series, where you might find yourself transported into army tanks and shower explosives all over the enemies. You might also find yourself merging with your teammates, forming an awesome character-windmill, slicing and dicing your enemy for some massive damage. The creativity of how you attack is in the palm of your hands! When you aren’t conquering worlds, you will be traveling the universe in your ship, known as the “G-Castle.” Be sure to level up your ship and gather plenty of peons – you’ll need them when you enter ship-to-ship combat battles!

In order to enslave enemies to become your peons, you must use the unique system mechanic known as “Moe Kill.” To perform this skill, you first must match your personality to your enemy. Once you’ve done that, you will need to use short phrases to coincide with the mood of the enemy. After successfully completing this a few times, the enemies will bow down as your new peons! More peons for the win, dood!

Another awesome feature is the “Mugen Field,” which operates very similarly to “Item World” in the Disgaea series. It consists of a dungeon with multiple floors, where you can level up your weapons to a hilarious degree. Take on enemies in a series of consecutive battles and earn tons of EXP! Get ready to grind out those levels to create the perfect Undisputed God of the Universe!

Aside from the Mugen Field, Mugen Souls contains several elements from the Disgaea series, including Disgaea artist Takehito Harada’s unique character art, as well as a soundtrack by Disgaea composer Tenpei Sato. Mugen Souls provides a refreshing JRPG experience, so definitely give it a try on PSN next week, dood!

It’s been a lengthy 11 years since Eve released the album Eve-Olution. She’s kept her toes in the entertainment water, primarily through acting in both TV & film, including roles in Barbershop, Whip It!, Single Ladies and Glee. While she’s made appearances on tracks like Gwen Stefani’s “Rich Girl”, the music industry is a much different place for an artist that has been gone a while. A multitude of label issues led Eve to release this album independently, exploring the new landscape and digging her heels in the territory she helped create. New emcees like Nicki Minaj should be thankful for someone like Even who paved the way and be ready for some competition.

Trace Adkins is one of country music’s most recognizable stalwarts, churning out a new album every two years (or so) for the last 15 years or so). His public persona is almost as big as his music, with a series of controversies throughout his careers, lightened by a candid look at the singer during his time on NBC’s All-Star Celebrity Apprentice, whose finale this weekend could award Adkins with over 700K to the American Cancer Society. The album features an appearance by Colbie Caillat and an open ended interpretation (hence the ellipses) of Love Will . . .

How often in life do you get a second chance? If you’re an online Call of Duty player, well, that’s pretty simple – you get one every time you press Square to respawn. But the concepts of return, reinvigoration, and redemption all play into Uprising, the second map pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops II, which is available today on PlayStation Network.

To start, Uprising features four new maps for Black Ops II multiplayer matches:
Vertigo, the top of a Tacitus mega-structure that’s so tall, it breaks the cloud layer; Magma, a small Japanese village that has been engulfed by the lava of a nearby erupting volcano; Encore, the performance stage and surrounding grounds following a London music festival; and Studio, a re-imagining of the Call of Duty: Black Ops Firing Range, offering chaotic combat over several movie sets on a Hollywood backlot.

Studio is a particular point of pride here, as it’s a re-imagining of Firing Range, which fans of the original Black Ops still eagerly choose in multiplayer lobbies. Its compact design and varied lines of sight – sniper perches, blind corners, tight alleyways – make it popular, but thematically, the original level is a bunch of plywood targets, purpose-built for training soldiers. Not only does the level look a lot more colorful now with the addition of crashed spaceships, animatronic dinosaurs, a pirate harbor, and a miniature monster-movie set, but these visual landmarks make it even easier to communicate. When a teammate calls out “there’s two in the pirate cove” or “I’m heading to the saloon,” there’s no confusion in the sitreps. And when you work together as team, you’ll find you don’t need second chances quite so often.

For Mob of the Dead, the question isn’t so much “how often in life do you get a second chance” but “how often in death?” Alcatraz is the setting for this star-studded adventure, as four gangsters – played by Ray Liotta, Michael Madsen, Chazz Palminteri, and Joe Pantoliano – seek to escape one of the world’s most infamous prisons. But as you might expect, the bars and cells aren’t the only things standing in their way. Zombies – the ultimate benefactors of a second chance! — have taken over the island prison, so these wiseguys will have to battle the undead if they’re going to make it out. New perks like the wittily named Electric Cherry offer players some shocking new gameplay mechanics, as does the new Afterlife Mode, which lets interact with your environment and solve puzzles despite having just had your existence expire. But like I said…a second chance is something you should never take for granted.

Since Skullgirls was released last year, our fans have loved the flexibility our powerful 3D engine provides us when it comes to character color palettes and have been clamoring for more. So we’re happy to announce that after a long wait, Skullgirls will finally be getting DLC character color packs today!

Each character color pack is $1 and contains four new color palettes. We’re also offering a bundle of all 8 color packs, which can be purchased for the discounted price of $5.

So, let’s take a look at the character packs – chances are some of these new color schemes will seem awfully familiar, as we created them with extensive fan feedback.

As an added bonus, we’ve included a 5th, bonus color free if you buy the bundle!

So there you have it – tons of colorful new ways to customize your team for online play, for just $1 per character.

In other Skullgirls news, Lab Zero is still busy working on the content funded by our hugely successful Indiegogo campaign. Squigly, the first DLC character, is on-track for her free PSN debut this summer.

Recently our fans voted and selected the third DLC character that will be released free to everyone, the Egyptian-themed lounge singer, Eliza!

Eliza is a powerful fighter in her own right, but her true power lies in her blood control abilities: every time she receives damage she’ll leave little pools of blood on the ground, which she can then command to attack her opponents.

Later this week, we’ll complete a second fan vote for the fourth free DLC character! Also, take a look at this concept for a new stage coming to the game. This stage takes place atop New Meridian’s rooftops, and will feature prominently in Squigly’s story mode. And, of course, this stage will also feature a soaring new track by Michiru Yamane!

Finally, we’ll be holding a Skullgirls tourament at EVO 2013 in Las Vegas this year! The prize pool starts at $2000, and all entry fees will be added to the pool. We’ve started taking pre-registrations online, so if you plan on attending, be sure to sign up!

With the successful Japanese PSN release, new colors, lots of free new content coming over the near year and the Evo 2013 tournament, Skullgirls has a lot of momentum right now! If you haven’t already picked the game up, be sure to check out the demo!

About a year ago we began a similar journey with DUST 514.

We set out to create something so ambitious and so crazy that we as gung-ho Vikings, had no choice but to make work. We sought to expand the EVE Universe from the stars to the planetary surfaces by creating an intense FPS on console and linking it to the largest single-shard PC-based MMO in history. Not only did we want to link DUST 514 to EVE, we wanted a ramped-up level of interaction where DUST mercs communicated with EVE pilots and cooperated in space and on the ground to generate galactic conflict of amazing scale.

Mission accomplished. We are humbled and proud to be with you here on launch day to deliver on that original vision. Now that DUST 514 has launched, a new door has opened for the EVE Universe. And while there are two separate games, it will always be about “One Universe, One War” in New Eden.

We are excited to take the beta label away from DUST 514, and now that we have launched, we look forward to the stories that our players will create as they jump headfirst into the massive galactic conflicts that await them.

This is only the beginning of the road for DUST 514 we turn it over into the hands of our players to mold and shape. We, the development team, will always be updating the game so that it grows with its players. And the ways they interact with DUST 514 are always evolving. At CCP, we think of launch as just that: the beginning of an endless upward climb. Today begins a truly exceptional gaming experience where the ramifications of every laser blast will be felt across the galaxy.

It takes a team of developers, designers, artists, testers and producers to create a game, but it takes the players to transform it into something truly fantastic. So a final thank you to the teams of developers I work with and to what I can only call the most honest, vocal and best community of players in the world. We could not have done it without you guys.
