The enemy is up to something in our new DLC for Warhammer: The End Times — Vermintide, our cooperative first-person, melee shooter set in the Warhammer world. I’m Leo, the Community Manager at Fatshark and I’m thrilled to finally bring you information on our new DLC Karak Azgaraz which launches on March 23 following our huge free update Quests & Contracts. If you don’t own the base game, you can now get both in a handy value bundle called the Digital Value Pack.
Set among the snowy peaks of the Grey Mountains, Karak Azgaraz introduces three new missions for our heroes to undertake in the hopes of thwarting the vile rat-men’s plans. The wretched Skaven army plots to overrun the Dwarven fortress and settlements around Karak Azgaraz, and our heroes must warn them before it’s too late!
It’s a real pleasure to be back here on PlayStation.Blog with more Sniper Elite 4 news. When we announced the game here this time last year, the support was fantastic. That has carried through to last month’s launch on PS4, and we’re really grateful to have such a passionate community around this series. We know many of you are very, very keen for more Sniper Elite 4 content, so I’m pleased to be the bearer of good tidings!
Next week we’re bringing out first major single-player and multiplayer content update, including new free content for multiplayer fans, and the first chapter in our new three-part mini-campaign!
The craggy, barren chasms of Farpoint are already dangerous. Now add the hissing, scampering, spitting creatures that live on the planet and you’ll be more thankful for your rifle in this first-person shooter for PlayStation VR. But why brave such dangers alone? The team at Impulse Gear worked hard to build unique levels that you can enjoy with a friend online, and I gave them an honest (albeit doomed) attempt with Impulse Gear Co-founder Seth Luisi.
At its heart, Blackwood Crossing is a game that tells a story. And when we started telling it, one thing became clear very quickly: it was going to be driven by rules and logic that did not apply to the real world.
As a team, we created our own set of rules that applied to our world and our universe. And we figured that as long as we continually referenced them, our audience would make sense of them and go with the flow.
It’s an illogical logic that exists because we say it does. And this is what helps to give Blackwood Crossing its unique character.
As Uncharted 4’s one-year anniversary approaches, we’re continuing to release new content for Multiplayer, as promised in the roadmap we shared just before launch. It’s been an incredible DLC update season so far and we’ve got more to come, beginning this week with an all-new drop this Friday, March 17 that includes a new mode, new weapons, new vanity items, and more.
We’ve glided across sands and soared above ancient ruins on our way to the mountaintop. We’ve formed bonds with strangers unknown, whose paths we’ve intersected. We believe that there is no better time than right now to experience Journey. There’s a new friend waiting for you, and a journey to discover.
We’re incredibly proud to share the five-year anniversary of Journey this week with creator Jenova Chen and the team at thatgamecompany, along with everyone who helped to create this award-winning experience. Journey was born out of the raw, extraordinary talent of a highly inventive team of creatives. They set out to craft a game that could emotionally connect with anyone.
Sterling Archer: secret agent turned private investigator turned… rock star? That’s right, this Thursday everyone’s favorite spy from “Archer,” the hit animated series on FXX, makes his long-awaited Rock Band debut as part of our March content update for Rock Band 4.
Hey y’all, it’s Jaffe, game director over at The Bartlet Jones Supernatural Detective Agency. I have a confession to make. For the past few months, whenever players would suggest that Drawn To Death would be a perfect fit as one of the free games for PlayStation Plus, I’d have to bite my tongue (And if you know me, you know that ain’t easy!).
All I could do was nod and say, “That’d be great. We’d love it, but no plans for that. Nice idea, though!”
