It’s here. The Battlefield Hardline open multiplayer beta is available on both PS4 and PS3 today. If you have PlayStation Plus, all you have to do is hit up PlayStation Store and download the free beta (exact availability times vary by region and content refresh schedule). Now, I’m a “get to the point” kinda guy, so here’s what you can expect during the next six days of beta.

Battlefield Hardline made a big splash when it was announced in July this year — with a wealth of multiplayer modes teased and a beta test that saw hundreds of thousands of gamers get an early taste of the action.
It is with excitement that we announce the Battlefield Hardline beta will continue for an additional week, ending on Thursday, June 26th at 12:00PM PST. Registration for PlayStation 4 players is still open at battlefield.com/beta until Sunday, June 22nd at 12:00PM PST. Be sure to sign up in order to claim your beta rewards.
We have seen some truly inspiring gameplay videos from the Battlefield Hardline closed beta since it was launched, and it’s amazing to see the creative ways PlayStation 4 players have been using SHAREfactory, the new rich video editor app for PlayStation 4, to share them with the world.
In a bold move, Visceral Games and EA have made the newly unveiled Battlefield Hardline playable now for the public in a closed multiplayer beta, available on PlayStation 4. This will be a unique chance for players to live out their cops and criminals fantasies – months before the official release on October 21st.
