Destiny is just days away! I wanted to share a quick video showing off its Remote Play experience, which enables you to wirelessly stream the game from your PS4 to your PS Vita. I spent some time playing Destiny via Remote Play during the Beta and I was really impressed with not only how good it looked on PS Vita’s vivid 5-inch screen, but also how responsive it was.
The buried Martian city of Freehold, long abandoned, is home to a decaying artificial intelligence of immeasurable value. This lost power has drawn the interest of the militaristic Cabal, and their brutal forces. That means the Guardians have some work to do in this white-knuckle, cooperative mission set within the Dust Palace.
With Bungie’s epic shooter Destiny hitting PS4 and PS3 with a mountain of PlayStation-exclusive maps, guns, and gear, we’ve compiled an in-depth video that outlines exactly what you’ll get come September 9th. Watch the official trailer above — it’s quite the production!
“Let’s make one thing clear,” Jonty Barnes, creative director on Destiny tells us just four weeks before the game’s official launch, “From the very beginning, the Destiny beta was a very big test for us – we put a huge investment into our online infrastructure and we needed to make sure it worked.”
If you were one of the brave testers in the Destiny Beta, you might have had your first taste of competitive action in the Crucible. When Destiny launches on September 9th, you’ll have even more ways to prove your skill against other champions of the last safe city on Earth.
Today, PS4 and PS3 owners will get a chance to experience Bungie‘s galaxy-spanning epic Destiny for the first time. Assuming the role of a newly revived Human, Awoken, or Exo, players will explore the ruins of a Russian Cosmodrome and battle hordes of formidable Fallen and feral Hive, all while earning new skills and collecting increasingly effective weapons and armor.
