Germinator is available in North America today, March 5th, on both platforms for $9.99. But if you want ‘em both, there’s a bundle for $14.99. If you do pick up the game on both platforms, the Cross Save feature will let you save your progress and continue on either platform. We wouldn’t want to hold you back from beating the hardest puzzle levels just because you have to leave the house, would we?

We’ve designed the PS Vita version to take full advantage of the device’s touchscreen capabilities. You can direct your Germs to shoot by the touch of a fingertip, and activate Germs special abilities with a quick swipe. Watch the video and see how it plays:

Hey gang – I’m back to announce a great new game that features a killer twist on the bubble genre. Something messy and contagious is festering in suburbia, and there’s only one hero who can save the day: The Germinator!

No more of that old school Match-3. While three of a kind won’t help you in Germinator, you will need to crash your germ bubbles into those of the same color. Upon collision, they’ll combine and grow, GROW, GROW until they POP — gooey, splotchy, splattering pops. Be sure to pop them quickly before they get too big and overrun the house. Timing and accuracy is the key to preventing the various germs from rising too high.

Germinator features a crazy cast of multi-colored bubble germs with their own personalities and traits. Making them pop the right way triggers combos to explode them all and make a mess of your screen. Dozens of levels and power-ups will keep you coming back to clean house. Local multiplayer lets you battle your friends or the AI.

Toss in PlayStation Move motion controller support and full 1080p visuals, and you’ve got a messy good time!

I speak for the whole team when I say that we are incredibly excited about our latest game to hit PSN, the minis title Mecho Wars for $4.99. Based on the characters, world, and distinctive visual style crafted by Luc Bernard, Mecho Wars is a turn-based strategy game where you command your troops to expand into enemy territory, control and collect resources, and conquer your enemy’s structures.

The story of Mecho Wars details the rise of the Winged Crusade in the distant land of Divination Deserts, in a war between the Winged Crusade and the Landians. This is not your typical desert: there is plenty of water that separates land masses. To sustain your army, you’ll need to capture factories to expand your maximum army support, take over cities to earn gold from the rich economic hubs, and defeat the enemy by capturing their HQ building while simultaneously defending your own. Don’t forget strategic unit composition and troop positioning as each unit type has its own strengths and weaknesses. Mecho Wars features a day/night cycle where the water that normally restricts your movement paths during the day freezes at night, allowing for unexpected skirmishes and ambushes. In addition to the rich, story-driven campaign, the Mecho Wars minis title features a new and extended soundtrack, a special set of individual challenge maps, and local multiplayer support on a single device for both the PS3 and PSP.

Mecho Wars achieves the perfect balance between the intense competitive strategy of army composition and troop placement and the invitingly casual and leisurely gaming experience lent by its turn-based combat system. The beauty of Mecho Wars is you can spend hours on end formulating the perfect strategy, unit composition, and battle placement tactics to best defeat your foe, or you can take your time and casually complete a turn every once in a while as you eat lunch or watch the news.

When we tell people Pinballistik is only $3.99 for the first two Wild West-themed tables, they often ask: Is this only a mini? Does it have Trophies? Well, I can tell you that this is no mini and it has a ton of Trophies! In fact, the ‘a la carte’ approach we’ve taken has allowed us to provide 29 trophies with a total of 525 points – all for less than the price of a standard PSN title!

Pinballistik offers a ton of game configuration options. In Battle mode, either play to reach a certain point threshold or get the highest score in a time limit. You can configure penalties that are applied when you get your ball past your opponent’s flippers – yes, all the way up to 100%! A variety of power-ups (can be disabled on Classic tables for the authentic experience) make strategies in battle mode very interesting! Rest assured, all Classic and ‘vs AI’ games are tracked in the online Ranking boards – we don’t want to dictate which modes are worthy of being recorded for posterity.

In a previous posting, we showcased our launch table pack Circle the Wagons – a rugged romp through the Wild West with a six-shooter figuring prominently as the central feature. You can imagine the crazy multi-ball action that ensues when that baby swings into action! If you’re a fan of the Old West, pinball or any kind of battling really then start your Pinballistik arcade off for only $3.99.

Our first DLC table pack is Made of Money, a bling-themed extravaganza where opulence and wealth are the order of the day. A unique feature of the Battle mode is the innovative ‘side-switch’ feature, where you must complete features on both sides of the table. There’s also a subterranean bonus table in there too. The Classic table has some intricate features with lots of nifty tracking camera work so you can always see what’s going on. Made of Money has ‘Break the Bank’ as a final feature but at only $2.99, this game-pack is hardly likely to do that!

Our second DLC table pack is ‘Sector X’, homage to 30’s kitschy science-fiction shows. In Sector X, flying at the speed of light is a doddle yet everything is still held together with rivets! Here, the Battle mode features a powerful force-field that must be disabled in order to mess with your opponent. The features of the tables unfold in story-like fashion, and players will contend with UFO invasions, teleporters and asteroid fields to name a few. Big points can be earned in the subterranean skirmish table, shoot the opponents targets out first for a big bonus. Classic table action features a rocket-ship ball save feature and culminates in crazy multi-ball action. Beam up the Sector X game-pack for only $2.99 in galactic credits!
