With the holidays wrapped up and a new year ahead of us, now is the perfect time to share some of the best content the LittleBigPlanet Karting community has to offer. In that spirit, the following list contains ten user-created tracks (in no particular order) made since Karting’s launch that have seriously impressed us one way or another. Christmas Day is but one sleep away now, so hopefully your presents are all wrapped and under the tree, your stockings are hanging up over the fireplace and you are all ready for your annual visit from everybody’s favourite jolly old fat man!

Before you all head off early to bed though, we have some festive cheer to spread around the LittleBigPlanet community including some wonderful levels and a few other treats for everyone.

Creating a quality track in LittleBigPlanet Karting is no easy task, so we’ve gathered this list to arm you with the knowledge you need to make use of some of the more advanced Creative methods. Have your own ideas? Let us know in the comments!

Track Modification

Did you know your paint roller can follow the elevation of the terrain? Simply press L1 while painting your track and it will automatically stick to the topography below. This is a great way to keep your track flush to the ground without accidentally changing the terrain itself.

First up, we have this brand new set of Marvel Heroes Costumes to reveal to you.
LittleBigPlanet always needs heroes and we have two brand new costume packs heading your way containing a whole bunch of new Marvel Heroes to help save the day!

This week we will be releasing Marvel Heroes Costume Pack 5 which contains Black Bolt, Black Widow, Iron Fist, Nova and Star Lord.
Not only that, we will have Marvel Heroes Costume Pack 6 containing an additional five costumes coming early in the New Year.

Playmakers looks into the latest innovations for creating and learning. Some time ago they paid a visit to Media Molecule to take a look into how LittleBigPlanet is leading the way in community development and community game design.

LittleBigPlanet Karting: Demo Out Now, Watch the New Trailer

Still haven’t gotten behind the wheel of LittleBigPlanet Karting? You’re in luck: the official LBP Karting Demo is available now! Containing a Tutorial track, two Story tracks, a minigame, and a solid selection of costumes, karts, stickers, and more to customize your experience with, the Karting demo is a fantastic way to try our game before you buy.

Give it a go and if you enjoy it, remember that the full game contains over 10 times more tracks, costumes, and other content than the demo. And that’s just what’s on the disc! Add to that all of the content made in Create mode and the list becomes nearly endless. LittleBigPlanet Karting has only been in the community’s hands for a few weeks now, and there is already a ton of content to download and start exploring. So if you’re not feeling especially creative and would rather jump right into some pre-made levels, there’s plenty to choose from.
