The much-anticipated reggae “re-branding” of the artist formerly known as Snoop Dogg is here. He announced his new name after a spiritually enlightening trip to Jamaica, exploring his past during a particularly violent era of Hip-hop to a future of peace encouraged by the Rastafarian movement.
At just 18, Tyga burst on the scene as the latest Young Money prodigy. After moving from Decaydance Records to fully Young Money, his previous dance music roots made a progression to more straightforward rap. Fans got a taste of his direction in his Well Done 3 mixtape, but the songs for Hotel California were written in a quick and uniform matter, making it a stand-alone piece.

Yesterday we announced the exclusive music video for Passion Pit’s “Cry Like a Ghost,” featuring almost two minutes of additional footage. Directed by Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheibert – collectively known as DANIELS – the video, off their recent album Gossamer, debuted on the Sony Entertainment Network Blog.
Great news for PS3 users – you can now discover Crackle movies and TV episodes right inside the PlayStation Store. While the Crackle app will remain as a stand-alone on the XMB, all of the great ad-supported, free, Crackle movies and TV episodes are now directly integrated in the PS Store so you’ll be able to browse and discover them easily.
