Before we sign off for the year, we wanted to celebrate the creators who make not only PlayStation.Blog, but this industry in its entirety possible. It’s these studios who create the worlds we yearn to escape to, who write the stories upon whose every word we hang. It’s thanks to them that we can do what we love to do.
Stranger of Sword City, at its core, is a game about death and the struggle to avoid vanishing forever. Like previous Experience, Inc. titles, you’ll be able to customize your team through a ton of character creation options — everything from their age (which affects how many times they can die before vanishing, and how many stat points they get to allocate) to the RPG mainstays of race (Migmy FTW!), talent, class, and more.
Last year our first 3D Action RPG, The Witch and the Hundred Knight found its way onto PS3. For those of you who didn’t dip your toes in the swamp, you’ll now have a chance to get down and dirty because this witch is coming to PS4 in The Witch and the Hundred Knight: Revival Edition on March 1!
Set between Trigger Happy Havoc and Goodbye Despair, Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls on PS Vita introduces a number of new faces while bringing back a few familiar ones.
Hey, dood! It’s been a hot and sweaty six months duking it out in the Netherworlds since we announced Disgaea 5, but I managed to find my way back with some awesome news! NIS America is unleashing Disgaea 5: Alliance of Vengeance exclusively for PS4 on October 6th! This ridiculously over-the-top strategy RPG will be available in stores and on PlayStation Store.
Gosh, I feel like it was just yesterday that I finished up Demon Gaze from Experience, Inc. Now the studio’s next game for PS Vita, Operation Abyss: New Tokyo Legacy, has been making me neglect my poor Furby again! I know, I know, you guys can’t get your mitts on it until June 9th, but I thought you’d appreciate a little insight into my experience with the game along with a brand spankin’ new trailer!
It’s not every day that you come across a series with a sadistic teddy bear at the helm, but that’s exactly what players get with the Danganronpa series. It’s garnered a passionate following of players thanks to its premise of high school students struggling against the whims of that diabolical (And adorable?) villain — with murderous confrontations as a result.
