And with lead and backing singer breakdowns included, you can still join in even if you don’t feel like Mariah or Madonna.

Everyone Sing’s Group Mode allows you to form your own singing group with your friends and compete in a series of rounds to eventually become the ultimate singing group. There are 10 rounds, each increasing in difficulty and featuring some of the game’s best songs. For the first five rounds, you must impress the three judges in order to progress. Then you hit the big time performing in concerts where you must impress your ever-growing legion of fans!

Teams can compete over three, five, seven or nine rounds across a variety of games including Team Classic, Last Man Standing, Tug of War, Party Mix, Pass the Bomb and more. Two teams compete against each other with 10 lives, sing a line badly & your team loses a life, the last team standing wins!

Tug of War – two teams compete with a rope on screen, the better the team sings the more they pull their opponents towards the centre line. If either team pulls their opponents across the central line that team wins the game!

Developer Milestone is well known for some of the most intense and realistic racing games around, and we’re offering one of their finest efforts with Superstars V8 Racing. The game is loaded with full platinum Trophy support, both arcade or simulation-style racing modes, official licenses from BMW, Audi, and Jaguar, 12 player online multiplayer, and an INSANE sense of speed that you just won’t find in most other racing simulations.

We also wanted to thank you, the fans, for all of your support on our ‘Superstars V8 Racing’ Facebook page as well. As some of you know from our last post, we’re giving away FREE DOWNLOAD CODES for the game, and there’s still time to win a copy for yourself! Simply head to the official North American ‘Superstars V8 Racing’ Facebook page, “Like” the page, and then post the phrase “Superstars V8 Racing on PSN” onto the wall. This will automatically enter you for a chance to randomly win one of 25 download codes that will be given away on launch day. You have until October 25th at 11:59pm Pacific Time to enter. Also, since we’re launching at just $19.99, if we hit the magic number of 1,999 likes by that same cutoff time, then we’ll be doubling the prizes to a total of 50 free codes! We’re just a tad short of our tally right now, so definitely suggest the page to your friends!

Thanks again to PlayStation fans and racing fans everywhere. We’re offering up a BIG game at a very small price next week and we wouldn’t be able to do it without your support. This Tuesday, look out for Superstars V8 Racing on PSN when it’s ready for download, and look out for us on the tracks. See you on the circuits!

John Daly here, wanting to give you a bit more information about my upcoming videogame coming out this week for the PlayStation 3, John Daly’s ProStroke Golf! It tees off tomorrow, October 5th, and I’m really excited for my first videogame to be coming out.

When O-Games and Gusto Games approached me a while back asking me if I would endorse their next golfing game, I was a little hesitant. I’m not much of a videogame person myself (although my kids love them), and I didn’t want to put my name on something that I couldn’t be proud of. But after talking to everyone there, getting a sense of their passion and knowledge of the sport, and seeing what they were able to make by checking out their previous game, ProStroke Golf World Tour 2007, I was definitely interested. That game introduced an all-new mechanic called “ProStroke Mode” that took you into a first person perspective when you addressed the ball and made your swing. It was nothing like I had ever seen before in any other golf game and made a lot of sense. And once they told me about Sony’s new PlayStation Move control system and how it would work with my game and with ProStroke Mode, I was sold.

The great thing about John Daly’s ProStroke Golf and the PlayStation Move is that it actually gets you up off the couch and swinging like you would with a real club. It may sound like the Wii, but after getting my hands on the game and playing it with the PlayStation Move controller, it’s so much more sophisticated and sensitive, it’s unbelievable. Your full swing is taken into account, and shaping your shots for draws and fades is as simple as adjusting your stance and closing or opening your wrists with the Move motion controller. You can also do other basic golf adjustments, such as tweaking your aim to account for wind, change the ball position in your stance for different loft…basically everything I do on the course, you can do right from your Move controller, and you get to look at your ball, the club head, your lie just like you do in real golf.

To start, you should check out the tutorials that will not only explain the basic fundamentals of how to play the game, but also the basic fundamentals of real life golf shot-making. I laid down the voiceovers with the folks at O-Games to make sure that the principles laid out in the game could be applied by aspiring golfers to take with them to the course or the driving range. Golf is a great game, something I’ve devoted most of my life to, and if John Daly’s ProStroke Golf can cause a few people out there to go and play for real, I’ll be a happy man.

There’s a lot more to talk about with the game – the great narration by Sam Torrance and Peter Kessler, the great mix of fictional and world-famous courses such as Mystic Rock and the Belfry, my very own line of Loudmouth clothes being featured in the game – but I’ll leave that to the developers over at Gusto Games. Thanks for taking the time to read this blog post, and don’t forget to pick up John Daly’s ProStroke Golf this week on the PS3 from Walmart, Best Buy, GameStop and other great stores, and have the most realistic golfing experience without leaving your house!

Not long ago, our friends at O-Games announced here on the blog that Superstars V8 Racing would be launching in North America exclusively on PlayStation Network as a download with all of the trimmings of a retail game for only $19.99. Today we’re here to let you know that the date is officially set for October 26th – and we’d love to tell you more about our studio and the work we put into the project since its inception.

My name is Luca Ferrara, and I’m the Game Director on Superstars V8 Racing. As a developer, Milestone has been working in the racing genre for many, many years. Driving is our passion, and bringing our passion into the world of video games is our specialty. Some of you might know us from other franchises on two wheels like Moto GP 07<a href="http://us.playstation.com/games-and-media/games/motogp-08-ps2.html/08 and the SBK Superbike World Championship series. Others might recognize us from our days working on games like the Screamer series and Evolution GT. While a large portion of our fans reside in Europe, we rarely get an opportunity to reach out to our fans in the US – so I’m happy to be here to tell you more about Superstars V8 Racing and excited to soon have our fans in the States get behind the wheel.

The game is based on the official license of the Superstars Series, a championship of top-class V8 cars organized by Infront Motor Sports. Up until we began development, no one had ever attempted to recreate this series in a game at this level of detail, so we hit the tarmac and began modeling and building out the ultimate V8 experience. The end result is an action-packed racing game that lets you feel the power of the V8 cars, which are insanely high tuned vehicles derived from production models, such as the BMW 550, the Audi RS4 or the Jaguar S Type R. They have up to 450 HP, so you’ll really have to tame them! You’ll have the chance to race on 10 exciting tracks, such as the Italian circuit of Monza, Portimao in Portugal or Kyalami in South Africa.

There are several game modes that you can play: quick race, time attack, race weekend or the whole championship. Moreover, Superstars V8 Racing features many special challenges that will test your abilities to the limit! When you feel you are good enough and you want to face other real drivers, you can play online: the multiplayer supports up to 12 players. The game also lets you enable a series of driving aids to make the game experience just as you like it. The style of play can be set between Arcade, with all driving aids activated, or Simulation, where everything is determined by the ability of the driver.

Our hope is that players will be able to recognize that we wanted to deliver an immediate recreation of a raw driving experience. What counts here is speed and competition, and you’ll find plenty of both!

All of that said, we’re just a few weeks away from launch, and as we mentioned in the headline – yes – our friends at O-Games are also giving away some FREE DOWNLOAD CODES for the game at launch in the US! How can you win? Simply head to the newly launched official North American ‘Superstars V8 Racing’ Facebook page, “Like” the page, and then post the phrase ‘Superstars V8 Racing on PSN’ onto the wall.
Thanks again for all of your support, and we can’t wait to get you on the tracks at a low cost without needing to leave the comfort of your own couch when the game hits the PlayStation Store on the 26th. Take care!

As the publisher for Superstars V8 Racing, we are excited to bring such a robust game to PlayStation Network. Over the past few years we have watched the digital marketplace grow. As many publishers and developers launched digital products on the PSN platform, O-Games made a strategic decision to hold off until we had the perfect product.

Superstars V8 Racing is one of most robust, deep and graphically rich racing games on PSN, and at $19.99 it’s going to be difficult for anyone to find a better bargain; Superstars V8 Racing is a full retail game packaged for PlayStation Network. Dozens of official circuit tracks, head-to-head online play with up to seven other players, and big name brand cars make this a great racing game.

Why did we drop the retail disc, and go digital on the PSN?

A little over six months ago, we had aspirations to take Superstars V8 Racing to the retail channel. We took the title on tour to the major North American retailers and tried to find a market for the game. The retailers really enjoyed the title, it simply came down to limited shelf space at each location and trying to slot the game between other titles being released. O-Games had a critical decision to make; we could wait for the retailers to have room for our game, or we could take the exact same game and place it on PlayStation Network.

Once we decided to take the full version game and place it on the PSN store, we began to realize that many of the costs associated with taking the product to retail no longer applied. We no longer had to account for manufacturing discs, packaging, shipping, returns, retail marketing and other costs. So, here we were with a $39.99 retail game which was getting less expensive for us to ship to the consumer, and ultimately we decided to pass the savings on to gamers.

As you play Superstars V8 Racing, keep in mind that you are playing a game that was planned for a $39.99 retail launch but given to you for $19.99. Sometimes consumers do win!

Now off to the races….
