PlayStation Store Update

It’s another big week for the PlayStation Store. Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time releases today, and it’s part of our Cross-Buy promotion, so if you purchase the PS3 version you’ll receive the PS Vita version entitlement as a bonus! Of course, Sly isn’t the only thing launching today – Dead Space 3 is also out on the store for all you action/horror fans.

There’s a cool app releasing on PS Vita today – the PlayStation Home Arcade app. This app allows you to download and play classic arcade titles from the likes of Atari, Konami and Intellivision on your PS Vita.

PlayStation Store Update

The Store is jam-packed this week with a pre-order for Crysis 3 and full game releases like Bayonetta and the Hitman HD Trilogy (each game is also sold separately). There’s also Air Conflicts: Secret Wars, Everyone Sing and Zone of the Enders HD, and GTA: Vice City joins the PS2 Classics.

A few bundles are also hitting the PS Store, so be sure to check them out if you enjoy great deals. Speaking of great deals, there’s a new free PS Mobile game this week – Cubixx. Grab it tomorrow when PS Mobile updates. And don’t miss the Madden 13 Sale starting today — just in time for the big game. Check out all the details above!

Introducing the New Sony Entertainment Network Online Store

We’re excited to announce today’s launch of the new Sony Entertainment Network online store, allowing you to browse and buy PlayStation Network games, add-ons, movies, TV shows, and more for PlayStation 3, PSP, and PlayStation Vita through the web.

Following the redesign of the PlayStation Store, the new online store offers similar filter and sorting features — making it easier than ever to find what you’re looking for and discover new digital content.

Here’s how it works:

Sign in to https://store.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com/ with your Sony Entertainment Network or PlayStation Network username and password.
Browse or search for PlayStation Network games, add-ons, movies, TV shows, or whatever else you’re looking for.

The adorable Ni No Kuni makes its way to retail and PSN today. Rounding out the full game options are Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Just Dance 4 and Racquet Sports. DoubleFine’s latest adventure, The Cave, is also out today along with Mad Dog McCree. There’s a new PS Vita game, escapeVektor, and if you’re looking for free content, there’s the DUST 514 open beta.

The 13 for ’13 sale also kicks off today – and if you’re a PlayStation Plus member you’ll get a deeper discount on the titles. Take a look at the selection below and see if there’s anything you like. This week on the Store you can purchase the newest version of Devil May Cry — DmC. The ever-popular Angry Birds also launches onto the Store with Angry Birds Trilogy, which comes with 19 exclusive levels. If you enjoyed the PSP game Corpse Party you’ll be happy to hear that Corpse Party: Book of Shadows is now available for you to download on either your PSP or PS Vita.

PS Plus members will receive Darksiders for free this week along with a discount on Stardrone Extreme.

PlayStation Store Update

We’re back from the holidays, so I hope you took advantage of our deals over the break. We’re kicking off the New Year with a pre-order for Dead Space 3, which includes a free exclusive theme. Additionally, Demon’s Souls makes its way onto the store, along with Lord of the Rings: War in the North and Rise of the Guardians.

If you’re a PlayStation Plus member, you’ll get access to the God of War: Ascension multiplayer beta, plus classics Mega Man 9 & Mega Man 10 free of charge.

It’s almost time for 2013! Ring in the New Year with even more Holiday Essential deals! PS Vita owners can pick up Chronovolt, Jetpack Joyride and an AR Holiday bundle packed with content. PS Plus members can enjoy deeper discounts and two new games for their PS3 & PS Vita.

PlayStation Store Update

Happy holidays! It’s a light publish this week due to the holiday season, but you can still pick up some great new deals via our Holiday Essentials Sale. If you’re a PS Plus member, you can enjoy deeper discounts on those deals, plus Retro City Rampage for free.

It’s also worth noting that a couple things have been updated in the PS Store navigation. We’ve incorporated some of your feedback and you can now filter Add-ons by game title and the Weekly Deals section has been placed more prominently. We hope these changes will help you find what you’re looking for.
