As announced yesterday, Only On PSN will be bringing 8 exclusive titles throughout the month of October. Rochard is already available, but this week brings Eufloria, an ethereal journey into an ambient universe where you control the destiny of an intergalactic garden. Relax with the Chilled mode, or give Dark Matter mode a try to go more on the offensive. It’s a strategy game like none other, and it’s Only On PSN. As with all titles of Only On PSN, Eufloria is 20% off for PlayStation Plus subscribers for its first week in the Store.

This week’s PlayStation Store update brings amazing content all around starting with the PSN Exclusive Rochard. Combining amazing action, unique art direction, and an original toolbox of game mechanics to bring something truly original to PSN, you’ll want to make sure you play it yourself, or at least check out the demo. PlayStation Plus subscribers will also be able to snag this IGN recommended title a 20% discount for the first two weeks that Rochard is in the Store.
The Resident Evil 15th Anniversary celebrations continue with Resident Evil Code Veronica X HD hitting the Store as well. The modern classic has been revamped with a visual upgrade, full Trophy support, and the same harrowing gameplay that helped this title redefine action games. While you’re looking at new PSN releases, keep an eye out for Burnout Crash! and Cubixx HD. Burnout Crash! brings the arcade racer’s attention fully focused on, well…the crashes! The second week of PlayStation Network PLAY is upon us with the release of The Baconing! This comical action RPG continues the story of Deathspank, this time with a sci-fi twist. As part of PSN PLAY, if you purchase The Baconing before 9/19/2011, you’ll receive a free DLC co-op character in the form of Roesha – One Bad Mutha. If you’re on the fence, download The Baconing demo which is also in today’s Store update. The following week’s PSN PLAY titles are still available for pre-ordering on the Store including BloodRayne: Betrayal and Renegade Ops.
For fighting game fans, you’ll want to check out the Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection. Experience the original trilogy in an entirely new light featuring online play, leaderboards, and trophies. While the visuals have come a long way, the gameplay in these classics (klassics?) is still razor sharp and fun as ever.

The first title of PlayStation Network PLAY is finally here! Street Fighter 3: Third Strike Online Edition hits the PlayStation Store today. As part of PSN PLAY, purchase this title before 9/19/2011 and receive free access to DLC in the form of Gill, the self-proclaimed god, without having to beat the game with every character. For those that pre-ordered, check your XMB messages and hit the link to start your download; or simply head into the Store and download. As a reminder, you can still pre-order the other titles of PSN PLAY to get your extra gift. The Baconing, BloodRayne: Betrayal, and Renegade Ops are all in the wings, along with 20% PlayStation Plus discounts for each if pre-ordered or purchased before 9/19/2011.
