Hello once again, my darling PlayStation nation! I hope you were able to get outdoors on your long weekend, because Powers Season 2 launches today with its first three episodes in the US and Canada! Episode one is completely free to everyone on PlayStation Store, or you can watch it in full on PlayStation’s YouTube below (let me know what you think!).
Starting with episode two, active PlayStation Plus members can continue to watch for free, with new episodes dropping each week until the season finale on July 19.
Hello once again! This is Brian Michael Bendis, executive producer of the PlayStation Original Series Powers and co-creator of the comic book series the show is based on.
The second season of the PlayStation Original series Powers is quickly approaching, and we can’t wait for you to watch the premiere. Today we have a couple reveals for the PlayStation community.
We just got off the stage at Emerald City Comicon in Seattle and couldn’t wait to share the latest on Powers season 2 with our PlayStation fans. During our panel, members from the cast of Powers joined executive producers Remi Aubuchon, Brian Michael Bendis and Michael Avon Oeming to reveal more details on the highly anticipated second season of Powers.
I’m often asked — where did the idea of Powers come from?
Back in the summer of 1938, Jerry Siegel and artist Joe Shuster created Action Comics #1 and introduced the world to Superman. By doing so, they also introduced the world to the superhero archetype.
Ever since we announced the renewal of Powers you’ve been eagerly awaiting more details on the second season of the first PlayStation original scripted series. Well, I’m proud to announce that the second season of Powers will premiere in the US and Canada on May 31st with new episodes available each week on PlayStation Store. And PlayStation Plus members can watch it all for free!*
