Here it is, the news all you bargain hunters have been waiting for – not one, but two special offers for Blue Toad Murder Files.

Firstly we’ve put all our lovely episodes together into one “virtual” box to bring you the Blue Toad Box Set – all six episodes can now be purchased together for $26.99.

And for those of you that want to try out just one episode before you buy the full season, we’ve put Episode 1 into the sale at $1.49. If you like what you uncover, we’ll take the sale price off the Box Set (reduced to $25.49) – after all you don’t want to pay twice for something!

If anyone hasn’t caught up with us on the Blog before and doesn’t know too much about Blue Toad Murder Files, here’s a quick summary. It’s a six episode murder mystery game exclusively for the PlayStation Network, developed and self-published by us. As one of the famous Blue Toad detectives you solve puzzles, interrogate suspects, use your powers of observation and investigate clues to uncover the strange goings on in the quaint and sleepy English village of Little Riddle.

Episode 1 will only be in the sale until July 20, 2010 so be quick. Happy super sleuthing!

After the warm welcome I received on the PlayStation.Blog last month, I couldn’t wait to come back! Before we launch the final episodes of Blue Toad Murder Files, I thought I’d stop by and have a chat with you about your thoughts and theories on who might be the criminal mastermind in Blue Toad Murder Files. Or even if there is one villain behind it all?…duh duh duuuuh!

In the first three episodes we racked up three murders, a burglary, and a fire as well as gaining an extra Blue Toad Detective along the way. Obviously, I’m not going to give too much away until you’ve had a chance to play all six episodes, but I’m interested to hear your theories and observations so far. Have you noticed any recurring themes? What clues about the case stand out that haven’t been resolved? Who looks like they’re hiding something?

Episodes 4, 5 and 6 will be available on the PlayStation Store later today for $7.49 individually or the discounted bundle of all three for $14.99.

Blue Toad Murder Files – The Mysteries of Little Riddle will be available on the PlayStation Store tomorrow, March 25. Episodes 1 – 3 can be bought together for $14.99 or individually for $7.49 per episode. I hope you have fun solving the puzzles and uncovering the ‘Whodunnits’ in each episodes. If you enjoy the first three episodes, there’s not long to wait until April 29 when episodes 4, 5 and 6 launch.

For anyone who doesn’t know much about Blue Toad Murder Files: The Mysteries of Little Riddle, the game is a six-episode murder mystery exclusively for PSN. Set in the quaint English village of Little Riddle, you play as one of four members of the Blue Toad Detective Agency. Can you follow the clues and find the murderer? With each step of the investigation a puzzle is played and further clues about the case are revealed. Pay attention to what transpires – you will regularly be questioned on your knowledge of the case, and only observant detectives will learn the truth behind the events of the day.

We’re a British studio, best known for developing Buzz!, and Blue Toad Murder Files is our first self-published game. We’re really excited to hear what everyone thinks about it.
