A new Sharefactory update is rolling out today with new features that will make Sharefactory more than just a video editor. With Sharefactory update 2.0, you can create animated GIFs, photo collages, and more. Also, with the launch of PS4 Pro just around the corner, Sharefactory will also fully support the system with this new update.
We’re excited about the new animated GIF feature, which can be easily shared to Twitter right from your console via Sharefactory. Using content from your Capture Gallery or your existing Sharefactory projects, you can create looping animated GIFs up to 10 seconds long. Sharefactory is currently the only way to create and share animated GIFs on PS4.
Today, we are releasing update 1.08 for Sharefactory, which includes some very cool features.
One of the biggest changes to Sharefactory is the introduction of Track 2, which gives you the ability to add a second gameplay video from your Capture Gallery to your projects. This means your gameplay videos can use various picture-in-picture layouts for side-by-side gameplay video playback, with the ability to add effects. This replaces the previous Commentary Track gives you more editing options to bring your creative videos to life, so we hope you’ll have fun with it!
Today, we’re releasing update 1.07 for Sharefactory, which includes several highly requested features based on your feedback.
We’d like to thank everyone in the Bloodborne community for their continued feedback and support. We’re humbled by your dedication.

We have seen some truly inspiring gameplay videos from the Battlefield Hardline closed beta since it was launched, and it’s amazing to see the creative ways PlayStation 4 players have been using SHAREfactory, the new rich video editor app for PlayStation 4, to share them with the world.
The PlayStation.Blog team — with painfully little knowledge of video editing — ventured blindly into this new app to see what we could come up with… and we think the results are pretty admirable given our lack of expertise! As it turns out, SHAREfactory is deceptively full featured, despite its instant accessibility.
