Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor is out now, and word is it’s pretty darn good. October’s PS Plus lineup got a full reveal (download ‘em all on Tuesday), Spelunky hits PS4 Tuesday, PS Vita’s got sweet, sweet themes now, and we’re teaming up with Taco Bell to give away a PS4 every 15 minutes.
OlliOlli2! OlliOlli2! OlliOlli2! (Can you guess what I’m most excited about this week?) Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes is out now on PS4 and PS3! I want all the figures. Multiplayer on PS4 is free this weekend, even if you don’t have PS Plus, our own Ryan Clements gave us a peek at Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor, the chaps at Choice Provisions are bringing their adorable tiny arcade tribute Woah Dave! to PS4 and PS Vita, and Moon Hunters is coming to PS4 and Vita in 2015 and looks right up my alley.
Bloodborne comes out in February (that’s pretty soon!) and Destiny is officially the biggest PS4 release yet. Makes sense — I’ve played it every day with no intention of stopping soon. My pals and I are taking on the Vault of Glass today… wish us luck!
Well, it’s the last weekend before Destiny hits, and I’m a bit torn about the whole thing. On one hand, I’ll finally get to trek across the solar system with my best buds and become legend, as they say. On the other, this likely means I’ll be neglecting all the other games I’ve got on deck: Velocity 2X, Diablo III, The Swapper, Rogue Legacy, Danganronpa (I want to play its sequel but haven’t finished the original), CounterSpy, and of course, Final Fantasy XIV. Hm… maybe I’ll just call out of work for the next week. Shh, don’t tell.
