We’ve all been there: in the final moments of a desperate match, we loose a lone arrow across the arena and it pierces our opponent, snatching up a seemingly impossible victory and securing immediate bragging rights. Great multiplayer games are truly great, and now we’re getting another such game on the go. TowerFall Ascension launches this week on PS Vita.
Hey folks! I’m back to talk about one last, very exciting TowerFall announcement: on December 15th we’re launching the long-awaited PS Vita and PS TV versions of TowerFall Ascension and the Dark World Expansion!
Since launching TowerFall, we’ve had countless requests for new levels, characters, power-ups, and modes. A lot of your suggestions have been really valuable, and after I recovered from the game’s launch back in March, I began forming new ideas of my own. Slowly but surely, our plans for an expansion took shape. I’m excited to announce that the Dark World Expansion will hit PS4 in early 2015.
This month, PlayStation Plus members can download Towerfall Ascension and Strider on PlayStation 4. Towerfall Ascension is a great excuse to invite a few friends over for an evening of fierce fun and local competition. It features simple mechanics, but it’ll take some time to master shooting and catching arrows, head stomping and strategically using power ups. Our second PS4 game is Strider, a reboot of one of gaming’s most renowned action series. As you aim to assassinate a heavily guarded target, you’ll employ a plethora of cyber-ninja skills and upgrades you collect along the way.
TowerFall Ascension launched on PS4 earlier this week, introducing PlayStation gamers to an addictive, challenging, and delightfully pure arena game. With an electric, competitive design and an all new, co-op Quest mode, TowerFall Ascension is a great reminder of why local multiplayer is so much fun.
Today’s the day! TowerFall Ascension is finally launching on PS4. TowerFall is an archery platformer featuring intense local multiplayer battles and a dynamic solo — or co-op — Quest mode. Grab your friends and pack onto your couch for a night of close calls, surprise victories, and hilarious missteps.
