Oh Man Are LBP and Killzone 2 seriously delayed until the end of 2008? That sucks! MGS4 now has an unsure release date? And GTA4 isnt looking all that great. Those were the 4 titles that had me happy for 2008! Not the end of 2008. I mean we”re speaking about 10 months here, what happened, is this true? :(

the burnout demo is amazing. should win best graphical performance of the year. unbelievable. haven’t even raced yet, too busy driving around banging 180 mph rocks together.

If you’ve truly been gaming as long as you claim, then you should have absorbed or noticed some trends:
– as technology gets more powerful, the time required to program, test, and debug increases.
– dev systems (as displayed at trade shows) and final retail products differ.
– in-game messaging is starting to appear in games as is in-game music (bowling has it).
– unless you’re being sarcastic, the phrase “please keep your own opinions to yourself” while vocally whining yours is a perfect example of irony.
– if you spend all day reading “websites and news etc.”, you might want to think about putting things in perspective. Not every site is correct or accurate. …unless you believe that FoxNews is truly “fair & balanced”, in which there is no help for you.
– if you spend all day on message boards, then you should be well versed in the fact that statements like, “Screw you I want it now” is the cry of the impatient and impulsive prepubescent. If you do not fall under this category, may I again suggest you get a new hobby to expand your horizons?

Well i was going to say something about HOME but i guess thats been covered lol. I dont really care about in game XMB (tho it would be nice) or anything else i just want to play with HOME lol.
But i understand if there are fatal bugs then we must wait, i dont want my ps3 to crash or some chit. All i’m saying is i have been waiting and looking at videos for what feels like forever, and about now its kinda feeling like a twinky on a string hanging just out of reach lol.

I’m not so thrilled about these microtransactions of new bowlers for 0.99 cents. It’s not like they couldn’t have been included.
Its ok I’m playing so many games now that i don’t have time to buy any more untill i finish some, so lets get some good PSP games you know Xenogear,FinalFantasy 7,8,9, The legend of dragoon, Star ocean all those psp games
not alot of content for me but sure is a damn full update in all categories. Better then an empty day so people wont be crying over there is nothing on PSN

Future of PS3 gaming: racing game = 1 car, you buy the rest. Sports games = you buy the teams/stadiums. FPS games = you buy each map you want to play.
I’m not liking this future too much, and if we keep supporting EA it will only get worse.
Sorry for the bad attitude but this update does not bode well _at all_. 1 demo and alot of overpriced addons for EA games. Where’s DivX firmware support? Where’s the Home beta? Where’s in-game XMB messaging?

This is the first week in a long time that left me pondering. Use are using up your vacation days right….. right, because this is just not what I’ve come to expect from use. All of those NFS add-ons should have been in a folder. This update doesn’t correlate with the NPD report…. good sales should equal impressive updates to show the new customers what they spent there hard earned money on.
don’t get me wrong I bought a bowler so your making money.
The burnout paradise demo is nice, the graphics are good also.

I heard that they look very much the same… according to some developers it’s easier to develop for PS3 leading and then port to others without losing performance. However there are issues the other way around. Who knows how true this is………

It would be mighty courteous of you to convince your buddies at Sony and Square Enix to bring a certain PS1 classic to the PSN. You know what title I’m referring to unless you don’t play videogames, than that would be weird.
So when you get a chance to sit down with your colleagues at work and you guys decide for a place and time when you think it’s the perfect time to release Final Fantasy VII on the PSN. Let us know right here on the PlayStation blog. Where gamers go to know.

burnout crashed when I was in online mode.
i was at a stoplight and the entire system just froze.
EA really thinks that people are going to pay money to unlock cars? Thats even worse than some of the DLC that was released for Godfather. Anyone who actually pays for that, I am personally dissapointed in you as a human being.
For some reason my Burnout demo won’t work. When it gets to the part when it picks your pic for racing it stops. I cannot hit X to proceed to the next screen. Is anyone else having this problem?

Same thing happened to me. I was trying to choose my ride, and it sort-of froze. The camera was still functional, but everything else was not.
How come Super Stardust HD has been updated but no one told the people who paid for and downloaded it months ago? Also how come it’s only been updated on the EU stores but not the US store?
Burnout demo was quite good.. EA/Criterion comes thru there.. but the pay for cars and whatnot, that’s rather cheap… and not in a good way.. i don’t want to pay for what’s seemingly already on the game disc..
more themes would be good tho.. it seems overly complicated downloading new ones that are custom-made..
hey new here on the forumns! the demo is an awesome update but we need more themes and stuffs. ummm yeah, assassins creed rocks , playstation forever! can someone please please please tell mr sony to include alternate languages for the infromation board, cos i have a jap ps3 so its all in japanese, and an option to swap the 0 and x button around, cos i have to press o to accept and it feels wierd so yeash, thanks!
Sony needs to get thier [DELETED] together like no ones wants these stupid need for speed add on content in the store since its already apart of the game thier just ripping people off just like with the motorstorm and all the add on content its a waste of money I think that they should put better things in the store thier hasent been anything good for a long time the burnout demo was alright but i would like to see better themes and wallpapers like call of duty 4 theme gta them and wallpapers that would be nice and when is the new system update coming like i cant remember how long its been but where do for one and id like to see in game xmb before the years over also home that would be a nice improvement so sony get it done listen to what the customers half to say for once pce

We want more PSone classics! Even if theyre not classics, we dont care! Wipeout XL, Need for Speed, Legend of Dragoon, anything! Are Sony developed titles the only thing were gonna see cause it kills me to see the “Other Systems” get all this 3rd party content when Sony was number 1 in content during the Playstation era. Whats really going on!? I think we ought to know. As long as we know whats going on, we wont have to sit pretty and wonder if miracles will happen or not.
How many more PSone classics can we expect to see before the end of the year?
