  • Thanks. I think I’m going to wait a few weeks before checking anymore so it will feel like a bigger update

  • Very nice… I shall go download. lol.

  • Cool to see some PlayStation Eye games. Is there going to be a PC store update?

  • Sweet update Sony!!! Thanks.

Can you guys please ups the PS Store earlier during the day? It’s almost 7pm here.

  • Minor typo in here
    “MotorStorm Double Track Pack ($2.99)
Get two Folklore Add-Ons for one low price!”

It says Folklore instead of Motorstorm.

Good update by the way! I want some DLC for PAIN though.

  • I am so buying Tori-Emaki, thanks for finally bringing it over!

  • I’ll let it be known.. Rock Band tracks cost too much in my opinion. $2.00 per track is expensive, considering that a lot of the songs aren’t even by the original artists.. and they can’t be played outside of the game. Just look at Motorstorm which is offering $3.00 for 2 tracks which offers more playability and value.

  • This post seems to have been a bit rushed. There are several errors. The Motorstorm add-on says it’s FOLKLORE add-ons, and the info on the new themes seems rather confused, not to mention contradictory.

  • Nice update!

    Thanks!

  • very good update again!
    im getting almost everything :)
Ps EYe games are always welcome

  • cod4 theme ftw!

    Nice ps eye support sony

  • WOO-HOO!!

    MORE EYE GAMES!!

THANKS SONY! Looking forward to the new Eye of Judgement expansion!

a good selection of stuff this week!

    thanks!

  • Turok, let’s see.

  • any news for the Playstation Eye game Eyedentify ??!

  • I’m not complaining about getting trailers, but koei could have given us a better version of the dynasty warriors 6 trailer. in the gameplay segments most of the characters don’t even have detail on them.

  • Japan store is up to 160 PS1 classics. U.S. store is up to what? 12?

Lets get the ball rolling U.S. team, please.

  • I must admit though, this update is pretty damn sweet! Cool demos, themes, trailers, add-ons etc…that’s what I expect weekly from the PS Store.

Now, is there anyway that you guys at Sony could make animated themes? That would be extremely cool if the themes were animated.

  • Why is Canadian pricing still $1 more than US pricing?

  • I second the canadian pricing that crap is weak

  • Fantastic update!

  • Motorstorm tracks, Turok demo, Lost Planet vid. wow. awesome.

  • Holy god. we have ALOT of stuff this week and stuff I like. Im downloading the entire store!

And im excited for PixelJunk Monster!

Other wise, a little for everybody.
A suggestion to the developers or those who do the store,

under the game section, we have categories (finally) for almost everything. PSP, Classic, Add on’s etc.

Under recently Added, (pg 3) we have Playstation Eye but not under the Games tab. It would be nice to just have a section for that too?

  • SWEET!!!!!!!

  • Turok, Darkness, Haze, Blacksite, Jericho, Killzone 2, Resistance 2. While I do like Resistance. I’m very disheartened at this huge FPS trend. Where’s the third person shooter love?

Anyway I know that has nothing to do with the update. I’m just venting. I’ll download the Turok demo regardless of my annoyance at all these FPS coming out. Mainly, because I have nothing else better to do.

  • borderlands loooks cool

  • No PS1 love? Sony. Listen to me. If you put PS1 games on there that everyone wants (i.e.: FFVII, MGS, etc.) people will buy them. Don’t worry, we will buy the PS1 games on there. PLEASE PUT FFVII ON THERE. PLZ.

    Other than that, nice update.

  • FF VII would be awsome

also NVM about the cod4 theme it sucks..

  • Borderlands Debut is ganna be a sick game

    Turok Demo is ok

When is Blast Factor ganna hav Costom Soundtrack like Super Sardust?

Im ready for another Warhawk Add On

When is a good BIG System Update and PSN Update coming?

  • CurryUdon,
I couldn’t agree more. They’d have a lot more sales from me if they’d get on the ball with releasing some of those PS1 classics. As it stands, I’ve only bought two so far: Castlevania: SotN, and Wild Arms. There’s a ton of 1st & 2nd party games to choose from, so the theory that some have around here about licensing in the US is bogus. Also, we’ve not seen really any of the big blockbuster titles that the PS1 was known for back in the day except for maybe Castlevania. I’m talking about the titles that first came to people’s minds when they first heard this feature was coming. Titles like GT1 & 2, FF7-9 or anything else from Square, Metal Gear Solid, etc.. There’s no excuse for not having titles up like the GT games. The only thing I can think of is that they’re holding off on those games until GT5 is about to launch and they’re gonna use ’em to stir up more buzz in the lead-up to the new game.

I suppose there is the PSP to consider, in terms of compatibility (missing analog sticks and buttons and such), but I don’t see any reason that those incompatible titles can’t be PS3 exclusive then. Do what you gotta do, Sony, but do SOMETHING. I’m growing weary of seeing all these add-ons and such for games that I don’t own and, for the most part, have no desire to own no matter how much add-on content is thrown out there.

I do appreciate the support for the PS Eye, though. It’s always good to see a peripheral get the support it deserves even if I don’t own it (Psst, it’s time to sell the camera separate from EoJ which I have no desire to play).

  • Overall it’s a great update. I’m a bit dissapointed we didn’t get a PS1 game, I know you got at least 3 rated by the ESRB for PSN

  • Good update :)

  • This is my first post so id like to say hello…

i’d like to kick things off with a request to see how many of you out there would like to see an option inside of our XMB Settings under Accessories for a SIXAXIS Calibrator.

This may sound a little odd, and most could say just use Rub-a-Dub, but I would really like to see an option to see just how the SIXAXIS works.

with a little more than 8 more years to go with our Triple, I think it would be a great investment for Sony to give us an option to show us just how the sixaxis functions, because i’m new to the whole motion control thing…

Id like to see a Calibrator with 3 floating points, they could be anything, a square grid, a line, a ball. Anything to show us if A) Our controllers are working properly and/or B) just how the SIXAXIS works, where the limit is reached and how fast you can move it.

Again.. most could just say simply play games that fully utilize the SIXAXIS, but how do I know for sure my Warhawk controls this way, or if im moving it too fast and causing mis-use of the controls.

    Thanks, NooBinO

this was a post by a Playstation Underground Forum member. I think it’s a pretty good idea.

  • PS1 games should be coming every other week, so next week there will be a ps1 game.

And so forth, this is because they need some content for the pc store, therefore they need a ps1 game.

  • Thanks for Turok demo, but other than that- In-game XMB.

  • Peope that do the PSN should put Froger, and Centipede up on PS1 Classics

  • Are you series? and you wonder why psp sucks in america? what kind of crap is this, NOTHING FOR THE PSP AT ALL?? If sont doesn’t get their act together i’m just going to throw my psp in the trash, way to show that sony doesn’t give a damn about psp in america

  • Also Sony guys for future references I think you should require all your original PSN games to have demos.

  • Yeah, why does JP have over 200 PS1 games on their PS Store and we have under thirty? So we know that there are games to put on here. They have Resident Evil on theirs. I’d play that game again. And there is no compatibility problem with a FF game, since they didn’t use the analog stick until Ten. And MGS can come over. During the boss fight when you have to change slots, if you press home during a PS1 game, it lets you decide which controller port to use for the game, either one or two. It can be done so sony, just do it.

  • @15 marcandrer
Yes i would like to get some infos too about this game.. it would be nice!

  • Sweet! Between the Turok demo, Tori-Emaki, Mesmerize: Trace, the Dynasty Warriors 6 trailer and all those themes I’m a happy camper! :D Thank you much!

  • Thanks for the update. More Motorstorm is always a good thing. I’m interested in seeing more PSeye content as well.

However, I would really appreciate some updates regarding Home and the open beta. Is it still taking place? If so, what is the timeframe? Please just post something about Home!

I’ve been hoping for weeks on end, every Thursday, that this would be the week that it comes out, but I hear of nothing. Just tell us something. I’m tired of getting my hopes up. I would much rather preferr you tell us a timeframe (specifically, not just Q1), so we don’t have to sitting on the edge of our seats every week.

    Thank you.

  • HAND UP – I HAVE A QUESTION

With Mesmerize: Trace, will it allow me to play music stored on my PS3 sort of like Folding At Home does now?

If so, I’ll go buy an eyetoy and this new game.

  • @19 and 20 (Xostas and Frazz)

I agree with you… You add that 1$ plus the taxes… you’re almost at 4.50$ for a game that cost “$ in US… Anyway I logged a complain directly at Sony, and they probably put my complain DIRECTLY into the recycle bin…

Another annoying update… With a damn FPS Demo and a soccer game demo… I left my original XBOX to get a PS2 (and now a PS3) because I was sick of this FPS trend.

And PLEASE! If you cannot put a demo of every game you are selling, AT LEAST, include a description with the game! (the 2 new PS Eye games are like that). For God sake, it’s like guessing every time to see if you ganna waste your money or not.

An other suggestion about the lack of informations on PSN games. If you cannot put a demo or a decent description, could you please at least put a video.

The first 3 weeks of 2008, the first 3 desapointment of the year. I hope it will stop soon.

I think I’ll wait for 2-3 months before going back to the PS store, so maybe there will be 2 or 3 good games and 2 or 3 good demos, may 1 ps1 game more :)

I’m sorry for the sarcasm, but I’m a bit pissed off as a NON-FPS Gamer.

    Thank you.

  • Sorry I try to do a capital 2… :)

  • I noticed that the Gutiar Hero 3 boss songs for quick play disappeared.
Can you guys get those back on there?

  • Turoooooookkk.

  • i’ll give Turok a try.. maybe that game will be better than the past ones.. otherwise, not a lot to do.. maybe i should get an EyeToy… hmmm

  • @Hedrakk
Yea wait couple of months before going back on PS store so we wont hear you whining each week
i dont have this, i dont have that… blah blah blah
Im not an FPS player either but im waiting
Btw 2.99 wont hurt you wallet too much.. will it?

  • Thanks, for the nice update. I enjoy the PS3 game demos very much, it would be nice to have more game demos though. I expect more game demos as this year lots of great game are coming out. I’d like to try a warhawk demo before buying the game.

I would like to buy some stuff at the online store such as the new MotorStorm tracks but the Canadian price doesn’t reflect the actual money value. The Canadian dollars has now the same value as US dollars, there is no reason for the Canadian price to be different than US price. Please correct the canadian price to match US price and we’ll buy online content.
