  • I like the call of duty 4 theme setting
    it looks really awesome

  • alright if Sony is going to charge us for home that would be the biggest mistake they could make i don’t know where Danger-x is getting that information from but if they so do happen to charge us for it then seriously ****Sony i personally hate everything about the xbox so i wouldn’t switch too that but come on cut the crap and get with the program already..

  • not-buying-incognito

Give me a US version of
    PS3 PlayTV…… DVR

  • IMO, Turok sucks…infected T-rex C0CK!

  • @enrichovega

    LOL…thats awesome

  • WOW good update. the more updates pass the less amount of weeks to HOME. yo sony can the sony vaio connect to the ps3 lets say computer play? because i tried to connect to my ps3 and when i turned on my ps3 it said a pc user blah blah blah.

  • The update is pretty good, I wish that we have some MMORPGs thought, I don’t care if I’ll to pay some extra cash for playing them, it’s just that I’m a big fan of RPGs and the lack of such games in the PS3 is killing me !!!

  • The PSone game selection has to improve. I have Tekken 2 on my PSP and love it. I plays perfect and looks better than I remember. Where’s the Gran Turismo, Capcom VS series, Metal Gear Solid. Come and give me a place to spend all my money.

  • @ Sony

I hate going along with the crowd, but I must say that I agree with the general consensus: The PSN content needs to improve, though I do like the themes please keep that up (especially the Call of Duty one). Since people are actually buying the PS3 system now, you are getting more fans. Fans want to have more games, like PS1 games, to buy on the PSN. The reason it would be a good idea to have PS1 content is because the average brick and mortar stores doesn’t have those classics from the PS1 that may have been lost, stolen or destoryed. I think it is nice to have a digital version of PS1 games. That being said (and have been said many times), please get PS1 content on the PSN.

Also, with Metal Gear 4 coming out and other titles making their way to the PS3, I think that it would be a good time to have a price cut. I know that there has been many price cuts. I know what people has been saying that the PS3 has been over price since the beginning thats why it has so many price cuts. But, this would be a good time for one. But, you all should cut it around the middle or end of this year. That is when FFVII, Haze and MG4 and other title are going to come out. Plus it would help because that would be around the time BR discs are going to be the standard meduim. What would be a better time to solitify that medium than to have a Price Cut around the 3rd quarter. I said it this summer that getting the system around 300 dollars would boost sales. And I’m telling now that getting it around 350 to 299 would kill the Xbox360. Especially with Home coming to the PS3 and all that Software and PSN content (with the fact that getting online is free in the first place) and the BR becoming standard, yes that would definately make buyers have to think twice when purchasing Wii or a Xbox360.

    Thanks Sony,

  • @104 not-buying-incognito

Yes… I want a version of playTV in the US but please make it a TIVO… not over the air digital programming… just with anthena in and watch and record what I already have in home…
This is what I want most in the ps3… will be the ultimate media center at home… many people will stop to use the media center of PC in the TV…

  • Dual Shock 3/Sixaxis would be nice. Hopefully sony will release it before 2009.

  • I use iTunes because of their catalog and high quality AAC tracks. I have some unencrypted iTunes Plus music (.m4a) that I’ve put on my PS3 that will play, however the PS3 will not read the AAC’s tag correctly so it will not display the song name, artist, album, or artwork, just the file name. Before 3.80 this same thing happened to me on my PSP, however now with 3.80 it displays everything correctly now. So I was hoping the PS3 would get an update to fix the reading of AAC tags like the PSP did.

  • Man you guy should put the Original Twisted Metal on the store I own every Twisted metal exepth the 1st I just cant find it just a suggestion for you guy’s I know i’d buy it ;)

  • How about a screen calibration tool on the next update, so we can set our colors correctly.

  • @Nobbler (#120)

I never thought of that. Pretty cool idea.

  • A good update Thanks!

  • Nice update but how about those PSN cards??
