Just an FYI for any RPG fans out there:
The new Tales game is not exclusive to 360.
In an interview with Play magazine the developers specifically said they STARTED it for 360 because at the time they were ready to go ahead with developement, the 360 was the only hardware specs that were finalized.
But, in fact, they will be bringing it to the PS3. Much like what is being done with Eternal Sonata.

@283: I thought the surprise was the dts-hd-ma or whatever it’s called that they just added to the ps3… it was kind of surprising to me at least, probably will never use it though. I don’t even remember when they announced that there would be some super special surprise. Could someone point me to the exact words used in regards to this surprise? Because all I hear about it is people saying “ZOMG, wheres the surprise?!!11”

I don’t remember them speaking of any surprise either. Though there was plenty of ignorant people out there that confused Konami’s surprise with a surprise regarding the PSN. This could be residual ignorance before it finally fades.
nice update with GT5P and Warhawk add-on, but nothing “special” like we’ve been told for weeks now. rather disappointed to tell you the truth. and where’s the magical Home? are we ever gonna get it? seriously…
I guess people have the same right to complain as they have to blow smoke up Sony’s ass, and all in between, of course.
I understand the problem with the PS1 games, but how about some original content or at least add-ons (like the Wipeout Pulse ones) for PSP?

Why doesn’t the Playstation Store update more than once a week? Xbox Live updates everytime something NEW hits the streets..yet WE have to wait till every Thursday?! What gives?
..Like the Ironman Demo..Its out on Xbox Live but no where to be seen on the Playstation Store, since we have to wait till next Thursday!
Change the thrusday update strategy its just terrible. Xbox just got iron man and who knows when psn will get this demo. Sony cant even get up this right and come out with content the same day as xbox.
It’s April 18th, and I just picked up some of the new EOJ Set 2 Boosters, but there is no online update for the new set on the PS Store yet. Am I missing something? Why release the cards before the online update? (I updated to version 2.00, but the $15 expansion is nowhere to be found)

Unfortunately, the icons are still loading slowly, meaning that the functionality of this store has been severely crippled. Sure, it looks good, but if it’s a pain in the butt to actually find something to buy, then people won’t buy.

I find it rather hilarious when I hear about how the xbox gets all of these so called rpg’s….hmm I own all of them that were mentioned earlier and yet they all are sub par at best, Lost Odd…storyline was rather boring and so were the boss battles…hmm pretty lame. Blue Dragon don’t even get me started by the time I reached the third and final disc I was so fed up with shu’s little snoot remarks of I’m never gonna give!” up I wanted to fistsmash his little crap the pants waddling backside. Oh and lets not forget that master peice Mass Effect…oh yeah that was so great sure…hmm fps meets rpg why ’cause you can adjust your characters appearence or wait mess with it’s stats the storyline was crap. I’ve been playing these types of games for years 20 to be precise. and a real rpg engrosses you into its storyline not make you bored after 20-30 hrs in. Eternal Sonata we are getting a better version, thank god I borrowed it for my 360 instead of purchasing it. Oh and let’s see what else that disgea card battling game that I played the demo and it is horrible. Bioshock….named best fps ever…hahaha yeah 3 enemy characters….linear play….oh and those big daddies. Typical fps yet it’s know as innovative how..oh thats right make a choice harvest little girls or wait let them go…wow real moral banger there.
Gears of War…oh god yes all hail the game thats single player storyline and linear play is almighty…..if you like multiplayer games 360 all the way ’cause most if not all of there games the single player content takes a backseat to all those racist bigot nerfherders on live. Oh wait I have an account silly me. PS3 is more of a gamers machine then the 360 most of the crap on 360 is just that crap I know I wasted thousands of dollars on it before the ps3 came out. Yet I don’t complain at least I have a former 420.00 table to hold my ps3 unit below my flatpanel. Halo 3 your trademark game is pretty much the same all across the board except for wait here it comes….holy cow I can now record my play through and kills WOW thats new, maybe on a home console but you know what….like I care if you can headhsot 5 people at once. It still was a short. Played out overhyped peice of non hd crap. Oh and your hddvd addon oh no too bad you can’t push 1.5gb through a usb 2.0 cable…so therefore the aformentioned player is pretty much an upscaled dvd player that happens to read hddvd.
Please you know…..everyone is right this is for the ps3 fans….but if your going to come here and knock our purchases because your mad microsoft is taking to long sending you your new shiny console at least make a viable argument. BTW

I think a good feature for the new Store would be to use Triangle as a home page button. That way when you’ve went in deep to download something and want to jump back to the home page to get to the demos or something u could just press Triangle instead of back stepping the whole way. I must say it does jump back quickly and smoothly though so it isnt a big concern, just a suggestion.
I always see whats new on the store on here and then like to rush on the store and queue everything up. So the quicker you can make it the better.
I’d also like to chime in about the PS1 games as well. Ever since I played Chrono Cross through remote play on my PSP I really want it on my memstick. You guys going so slow is just giving people reason to hack their system.
More PS1 games would be nice.
I know it is a little late to comment about the update, but i need to express my opinion about the pricing on the new warhawk update. I think that selling both expansion for 11 dollars is harmfull to loyal customers like me. I bought Warhawk for 60 dollars, and the omega dawn expansion for 10, as far as i can remember, and now you guys are selling BOTH expansions for 11, and the broken mirror alone for 7. I think there should be a discount for Omega Dawn owners, i wouldnt mind paying 5 dollarr for it, it is not a big discount, but at least it shows that someone cares about the old customers.
This kind of pricing is not motivating, me and my friends to buy the expansion, we fell that we were harmed, just because we bought our game when it was launched. I am not complaining about the price cut on warhawk, i think that the price cut is fair to attract more players, but the booster combo is really harmfull to older customers…. A new customer can have it all for 11 dollars, and for me it will cost 17….
The Most Amazing Add-On Pack to date. Absolutely amazing value and change in gameplay. I could never imagine Warhawk getting better. It just has. I am a customer for life. MUST BUY.
Not to be a complainer, but I just updated today, and the text in the new store is so small as to be almost completely illegible on a decently-sized (27 or 30 inch, I’m not sure) SD TV.
I’ve noticed that tiny print is a problem with a lot of PS3 games, but this is the worst I’ve seen it; are there any plans to fix the store to support those of us who haven’t upgraded to HD-TVs yet?
The PlaystationStore has been out for a while now and there has been no improvement in loading speed. The new store loads images slower and doesn’t cache loaded images between store sessions.
Fix the loading issue already. Surely this is not only because of increased traffic? The store has always loaded quickly during and after past system updates so why should it be any different this time?
