Weird! Last night (at 12:30AM aprox) the store update was not available here in R.I. I wanted to download the free GOW music for GH3, and the MP demo for Battlefield BC. I had to login into my ‘European account’ to get the content there since it was already available.
What happened?

Qore don’t have much to say about it right now (not very positive anyway) I guess we will have to wait to see how it play’s out. But sony take note why did you wait till the week of to anounce Qore? Download’s are NOT the reson I bought a PS3. (BLUERAY DISK WERE) And Exclusuive content is some times boring. As a former member of GAP I should know.

I downloaded the years Qore but when I try to install it it says “An error occurred during install operation (80029564)”. If you could help me or point me to someone who can,that would be great.
I’m sure that this has been suggested, and I’m no business major, but I would have been more psyched about Qore if they had made the first one free and THEN started charging. Every shady dude in front of the Quick-E-mart knows that. But, I may plunk down my three bucks if there’s something that I HAVE to see or play I might, but considering I could get two or three PSN titles for that scratch, I’ll probably pass.
I am sooo disappointed with qore its not even funny the advertisements aren’t skippable, theres a lot of them the content only covers 4 games; afrosamuri, a CG Soul caliber video, Some snippets of gameplay from Socom, and secret agent clank. that doesnt justify the price of 2.99. think of it as the videos for resistance with the weapons and sounds and such. I cant believe i paid money for it STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS pun not intended

Has anyone tried Qore yet? Is it any good? I’m thinkin there’s so much qore hate going on here before anyone’s even tried it out and seen what it has to offer. Sony hasn’t even said that the content on qore would somehow affect the content that goes up on the PSN. As soon as someone has some actual facts to base their opinions on, I’ll be interested. But until then everything is conjecture. It might take a couple of months to see all of what qore offers and what the implications are.
Side note: Jeez, 31 pages of blog comments. I stopped reading after about pg6. Don’t you people sleep? It’s not like you win a prize if you download everything the second it goes online. lol

Why could we have not gotten a free trial of Qore why have us pay first. I will wait till it is up on Youtube to see if it is worth my 2.99 or save that money for gas.

Quick question, do you have to purchase the year’s subscription of Qore in order to get the Socom Beta? Because I went with the single episode so that I could see what it was all about, and it won’t let me download the beta. Which is really lame in my opinion.
The beta isn’t out, it will come out sometime this summer. Check out SOCOM.com for the info on the beta.
Just incase no one will read this, THE SOCOM BETA IS NOT OUT YET. Just like with the MGS beta when available you can then download and play it.

i have multiple accounts on my ps3, i use one primarily for playing/chatting and another to make store purchases. if i was to buy qore, should i do it with my primary account, or my store buying account? does it matter since it’s the same ps3?
Congrats on having a good update this week. It will take a steady flow of content week after week for PSN to start competing with XBLA and WiiWare, but I hope with games like Bionic Commando, Pixeljunk Eden, and Fatal Inertia EX coming in the next few weeks, we’ll start seeing more than a game a month on the store. With Sierra now bringing games like Assault Heroes and Red Baron to PSN, it would be nice to start seeing more third party support for PSN as well.
i actually like Qore the easter egg is pretty cool at title screen press L2 and R2. I wonder if there is any others u guys at sony let me know if there is any others please COOL!

Nice update, but I was very disapointed on paying 3 bucks for this new qore. After purchasing it I tok a few momments to watch it. I felt like i was watching a big advetisment. I also feel it is wrong to charge for extra content like the download bete key that comes 2 weeks after the open beta opens. I don’t understand why one would pay for that. I also have subscription to the psn and this is no differant then what is in it. I wont be paying for it again. I do want an answer to the beta question though. Why do we get it 2 weeks after the open beta starts?
