i feel sick aswell COME ON FINAL FANTASY IS SUPPOSED TO BE SONY EXCLUSIVE WTF HAPPENED im almost to the point where i am beginning to have regret buying my ps3 smart move sony….really smart,wheres all of yoour money going to? killzone 2 i dont really have high hopes in that game other than the graphics.
I’m so glad I don’t even give a damn about the Final Fantasy series, though even then it’s at least staying multiplatform. I went down to The Shrine Auditorium today, to pre-register for tomorrow, but there was like nobody there. I did catch a glimpse of what I guess was a rehearsal, so that’s pretty cool.

Well. I’m not going to say that I’m buying a 360 as I already bought one a while back for LO and jrpgs. My habit of buying the PS3 version of games has just ended.
If Sony really think so little of games from that region and feels like being a shooter box I see no need to support such a company. I only wish I could cancel my Siren preorder with YesAsia.
My PS3 is now a HSG5 and MGS4 machine.
FFXIII that’s the last thing I was hoping to hear on the E3, Sony needs to spend more money on exclusives or they wont win the console war; is FFXIII Versus still exclusive?
M$ are even going to get Avatars on their system before us PS3 owners. And Sony announce this Avatar base system almost 2 years ago.

Dont yell at Sony the game cant be as good as we where hoping.If the game can be played on a 360 then it not really something that would push the ps3 power.Simple fact if it can be played on a dvd 9 then its not the game we were thinking it was.And with that being my thought I Will not be buying FF13 and thats sad Since I have every other ff game.And I will not bye buying any other square enix games for quite a while.they told us that it was a ps3 exclusive and they should have kept there word.

Everytime I read something about him, he’s criticizing the PS3 in a negative way. Why the hell did Sony let this one slip through? Weren’t they in talks with Square a while back over FFXIII’s exclusivity?
Sony, know today, that you let a lot of PS3 fans down by letting this one slip. Also, to Square, you’ve abandoned the PS3 it seems and that’s just pathetic. Wow, a lot of pathetic whining as usual, FF 13 is only 1 game, One game does not change anything, ESPECIALLY since it’s one game that is going to BOTH systems, not just M$ exclusive. GTA IV proved that ONE multiplat game means nothing whereas MGS4 shows that a true exclusive can have the power to be a console mover. Stop crying over one game, there will be many better exclusive games this generation to set the PS3 apart. This does suck for FF fans in a way though now that the game will have to be dumbed down ala GTA IV to work on DVD9, no hope of a 25 gig game streaming directly from the disc in real time like Uncharted, and not up to the scale of MGS4.

What was good about xbox? Halo and KOTOR. Well 360 now has mass effect and halo 3. What was good about ps2? Final fantasy, grand theft auto… all gone over to 360. but the xbox games are still xbox games. see my point? Sony is loosing.

Seriously, FF XII is a pretty huge deal guys. Though pretty irrelevant in Japan (where Final Fantasy’s biggest fan base still is and where the 360 couldn’t give away consoles to save their lives), the market for the FF franchise in the States and in Europe is HUGE.
Seriously Sony, I know it’s your company policy not to pay for exclusivity, but damn. You seriously just lost 70% of FF sales in the states and over 50% in Europe (and all the licensing fees that go with them). Not to mention console sales. If you read nothing else, guys, read this:
PEOPLE WOULD HAVE BOUGHT A PS3 IF ONLY TO PLAY FF XII.
FF fans are ravenous, bloodthirsty beasts when it comes to their favorite franchise and most will be damned if they’re going to let a measly $400-$500 stand between them and their next FF fix.
Hmm… I can get FF for the PS3 ($400-$500) which has, uh, …Disgaea 3 coming out later. Oooh, wait, it also has Genji!!!
Or, I can get FF for the 360 ($279-$400) which has Lost Oddessy (and every other MistWalker game headed by Sakaguchi), Mass Effect, Eternal Sonata, Infinite Undiscovery, etc.
Let me think about that for 5 or 6 seconds.
Seriously Sony, you need something earth-shattering tomorrow. God of War 3 ain’t gonna’ cut the mustard. GoW + Killzone 2 + Resistance 2 + LittleBigPlanet ain’t gonna’ cut it.
I mean like “Home is coming out tomorrow, FF Versus XII is a guaranteed exclusive, as is Kingdom Hearts 3 which we’re about to show you, and we made a blood pact with Bioware and Cliffy B and have Mass Effect and Gears of War 1 & 2 coming to the PS3” big.
Also has anyone put the blame to square enix? They took the money and sold all the loyal PlayStation users down the river. Blame Sony for not wasting money yeah that’s easy, but blaming SE for taking the money yeah no one thinks of that.
