Wow, a lot of pathetic whining as usual, FF 13 is only 1 game, One game does not change anything, ESPECIALLY since it’s one game that is going to BOTH systems, not just M$ exclusive. GTA IV proved that ONE multiplat game means nothing whereas MGS4 shows that a true exclusive can have the power to be a console mover. Stop crying over one game, there will be many better exclusive games this generation to set the PS3 apart. This does suck for FF fans in a way though now that the game will have to be dumbed down ala GTA IV to work on DVD9, no hope of a 25 gig game streaming directly from the disc in real time like Uncharted, and not up to the scale of MGS4.

That you may not give a rats about FFXIII, but millions of gamers do you know.
Sony this generation you have given us nothing but promises.
You promised us Home and you have not delivered on that.
You own a huge movie, TV and music empire, yet none of that is Downloadable on PSN, WTF?
You have a huge library of PS1 games that should be Downloadable on PSN but isn’t.
We just keep waiting for the company to redeem themselves but we keep wading through your S*&%.
There is no reason for anyone to buy a PS3 anymore.

IF I did not have a huge blu ray collection I would be trading it in as soon as I got home from work tonight.

How can you lose Final Fantasy, Sony – How?!?
I cannot express my level of disappointment with Final Fantasy XIII not being a ps3 exclusive. This game is the ONLY REASON why I bought a ps3. I have had to go without great games that were on the 360, but I thought it would all be worth it when FF XIII came out for the ps3. Now you have the nerve to allow this exclusive to slip away. I am questioning why I bought a ps3, not only that but I am seriously considering selling the ps3 and buying a 360.
I would try to reassure myself by thinking well at least there are still some exclusives worth getting exited about. But how can anyone get exited about an exclusive that they can’t be sure will be exclusive. Resistance 2 will probably end up coming to the 360. So will MGS4. Who knows!
How do you EVER think you will win this console war if you are the most expensive system AND you are losing exclusives left and right? Do you think that people will just magically buy your system? Its all about exclusives! Why don’t you get it! Its a tale as old as time.
People say why are you whining? Its just one game. I say its because its not just one game. Its all the games! The FF XIII loss is just the breaking point.
I’m not just angry at sony though. I am Angry at Square-Enix. They are the biggest sellouts. Where is there pride? Where is their loyalty? I absolutely cannot support a company that puts money before their friends. A company like that does not deserve to be a company at all.
I could go on and on. But seeing how this comment probably won’t be read by anyone at sony and or SE. I guess I will cut it sort.
gamespot says xbox ffxii will release on same date as ps3’s …no timed exclusive…

NOTHING. I mean NOTHING can change the pure joy by 360 owners. With the 360’s improved online, cheaper price point, MORE RPGS FROM SQUARE ENIX, and better FPS’s, its the better console. Period. Oh well, we have…Bluray.

More than half of these PS3 owners (including japan) Bought a PS3 because of FXIII and MGS4. They lost one huge game and now microsoft has FXIII along with 3 other JRPGs on their hands. Star Ocean is also big and they lost that. So honestly in my eyes, Sony just lost Square Enix really. Also developers dont care about blu-ray it seems and the ps3s potential. SE was down in profits and Microsoft paid for that and now they have SE support.

The day Sony lost. I will remember this day. Wow I honeslty never imagened myself moving away from Playstation in favor of xbox. WOW i’m stunned.
it’s ok. all you have to do is just stop with the “we dont pay for exclusives” and just buy back FFXIII. No one will think any less of you. I hope someone at SCE is reading this. If you want to keep the industry from being ruined then go ahead and stop idiots from intentionally trying to screw it up.

Wake up dude, they were already dead when they released the PS3 and the WII crushed them, only all the fans out here kept on believing and supporting them everything would be alright, including myself.
You know I even hated the PS3 in the beginning? But Playstation gained my trust and full support again and now… they’re so loosing it.
