@49 I agree, I love Sony and its products, but they have been ticking me off so much lately with all this bull, of delays and broken dates and such. It is driving me insane. They need to keep their consumer happy if they want to keep them. I guess they want to keep them but with the things they are doing, am not too sure about that.

why is robot chick Episodes 1.99 when they are 10 minutes long ? and are you ever going to offer season deals instead of buying them all one at a time ? DLing EDEN now tho :-) and we ALL want life with playstation !!

OKAY update. DL Eden right now. Funny my main account PS Store has updated, my sub account has not. Wonder if anyone else has ever noticed this delay?

Four things:

1.) Where is Life w/ Playstation that WILL be out before the end of the month? Wait, did Jack slip and meant to say before the end of 2010?

2.) When can we see some updates for the greatest PSN game of all time, High Velocity Bowling? Online support with voice chat would make this a shelf seller! I haven’t tried Lair, but this is by far the best use of SIXAXIS yet. Like I said, I haven’t play Lair though.

3.) Where is our HOME beta invites like JP store received today? It’s been 2 years almost!!!

4.) Is anything going to be done with the portable id links that were linked wrong? I have the wrong PSN ID linked to PS.COM and my GAP account. This has to be fixable, I mean it’s 2008, computers have been around for years now.

Good update. Let’s go get some trophies!

Hey Grace!

I have a couple of questions:

Is the Soul Caliber IV items the same as the ones that came with the limited edition of the game? Or is it new?

Will we ever get the DeLorean looking car for Motorstorm?

Yeah, I agree. You should be able to rent all the movies in the video store. I can understand if a studio doesn’t want the sell option but why would they not want to rent out their movies? It’s easy money. I would quit going to Movie Gallery if they had more movies, all available to rent, and a subscription deal.

Hey #35, you can turn off your notifications, just go to Settings in the XMB and then go to System Settings > Notification and then select On or Off. This also turns off the pop-up when you get messages.

I would call my customer and tell them if i was going to be late… What is up with Life with Playstation? THe movie time limits are keeping me from downloading movies any more. I can just NETFLIX it and not have to watch it in one day or sitting.

actually sony is doing a noble thing by listening to us, they don’t NEED to keep us happy according to some individual’s time lines, nobody’s gonna stop using their $400 ps3 because some things aren’t going their way, ‘n if two-three people do then whatever, I’m sure sony doesn’t care (I wouldn’t).

You said end of month, I patiently waited. If you knew it was gonna be delayed, please just put a note out for the love of god!

Pretty sure you knew it wasn’t gonna show up today at least, 2-3 days ago.

wow. lots of good stuff to download this week. pixeljunk eden is great. good selection of demo’s this week too.

SDkngsht said:

July 31st, 3:14 pm

i didn’t even get past the demos before rating this a 5 out of 5 and having to comment.

pixeljunk eden (which the demo sold me on cause i was skeptical to say the least)

madden demo?!?! (HELL YEAH!!)

facebreaker demo (debating on getting this game so that’s good news)

those 3 things alone make this an incredible update. the fact that there’s more makes this possible the best update EVER on the PSN (and i’ve had my PS3 since November 17th 06 baby).

MegaClank said:

July 31st, 3:15 pm

@ FritoZ, no problem, I hated recording videos to have someone keep popping offline and online and so I went and turned off the pop-up myself quite a long time ago. XD

I also think there was something else, but I forgot. Maybe it was the 2 music player backgrounds, I remember 3?

SDkngsht said:

July 31st, 3:16 pm

can i rate this a 6 out of 6?

CallOfDutyFreak said:

What the hell!!

Why do you guys ignore the PSP like its not even part of sony?

Seriously, its not the PS3 thats keeping Sony strong.

Give some PC Store Love!

MegaClank said:

July 31st, 3:17 pm

Oh yeah, and FritoZ, PlayTV is not possible in the States because the broadcasting signal is completely different in EU than US. The US is too stubborn to switch to it.

FritoZ said:

@69 Thetruefiziks

you’re totally right!

We are all pretty lucky that we have this blog, and that ACTUAL developers are cool enough to answer our questions!

AND we have solid proof they are listening to us here at the blog, just look at all the firmware updates with great features we asked for!

the PS3 is just going to get better and better, as long as the developers/marketing people realize what the consumers want…and no better way than through direct communication..

keep up the great work guys, it is appreciated!

yeah, if i worked at sony answering these blogs I’d PREFER the jerks sold their ps3s at least then there’s a chance somebody with respect would start posting here to replace the few who have none.

Californian said:

July 31st, 3:23 pm

Indeed, as someone else posted, I am wondering where Life with PlayStation is. I was looking so forward to it, and, as this is the last day of the month, I don’t see why no announcement was made to clarify the release date change.
On a more optimistic note, this is a *great* update! I can’t wait to get downloading.
Please make the Life with PlayStation release soon! I am very excited about it.

FritoZ said:

July 31st, 3:25 pm

@73 MegaClank

you’re right, there are 3 ifg you includ the standard XMB ribbon as a visualization..

but so far there is just Gaia (the earth one) and the regular awesome shipped visualization.

I’m just ready for some new ones! Maybe they could integrate tori-emaki EYE technology into one?

Thetruefiziks said:

July 31st, 3:26 pm

this is only speculation but… i think you may be trying to buy the game with insufficient funds, you use to be able to add obscure amounts but it seems now you can only add funds in $5 increments so first you gotta add sufficient funds and then try to purchase again

Is the PlayStation PC Store not getting any content this week?

KazeEternal said:

July 31st, 3:37 pm

I’m sorry I must have misread something here. Namco is charging us for Access to Soundtracks within Soul Calibur 4 and for content from SC1-3……. Ya I’m sorry, Jeff you guys over at Sony need to start laying down some ground rules for what exactly is Acceptable downloadable content for purchase. What really blows about this is I just purchased the Premium Edition of SC4 which was not cheap to begin with on Tuesday.

Not only is it content that shouldn’t be charged for, it’s content that should have been included as unlockable goodies for the actual game through game play.

There are things worth paying for and there are things that should be included for free or downloaded for free.

For instance if 3 months down the road they unleashed a new character say oh I dunno Kratos for PS3 users to purchase for 1.99 I’d happily pay. Character I love, support the store, blah blah blah, etc etc etc, Sony worship. However music and armor, Namco seriously needs to get over themselves.

K2016 said:

July 31st, 3:43 pm

Not a bad update… I won’t buy Eden, it is a great game, but I’m not convinced enough with it. I am afraid that I will not be good at it(I didn’t do well on the demo), and I won’t play it, so I’ll wait. Indiana Jones game is SO late.. But thanks…
A LOT of videos this week!!

Anyways, good update, I hope to see trophies for PJ Monsters soon.. PLEASE!

And by the way, Sony gets people so angry at them just because they announce something too early, or when they are not ready. Please stop this. Just say a date and KEEP YOUR PROMISES, or just don’t say anything at all! That would be best! I am tired of you people delaying things, and that’s why Microsoft has better service, but I will not switch, because when I bought a PS3, I knew that it had great potential top be #1 and Sony is reliable. Please don’t change that…
