WE NEED MULTIPLE DATA ALBUM EDIT!!!

  • @cell989
I agree that there should be more ps1 titles available for download. But have you considered alternative sources for these games? For example, MGS1 is available as part of the Metal Gear Collection, which should be available at many brick and mortar and online retailers. Did you ever have these ps1 games? If so, what happened to them?

  • Good updates, except for the SoulCalibur ones…..taht’s so lame. I want new content,I don’t wanna pay so Namco will unlock stuff I already bought.

Boo!!! First they take away our Katamari and now this!

  • yea, where is zzeeee Qore?

  • Wow, amazing update!!! Something for everyone. Time to free up some space on my harddrive.

  • Excellent update. All we need is a weekly PS1 title… :D

  • LMFAO! You really think thats going to SCARE sony? Spamming first come first served? LOL!
    How old are you? 12?
    Get a life.

  • Wow dude… nice spamming…. hopefully the banhammer comes around…

  • yyuummmm. Ban Hammer. Quick, IP hack somebody!

  • Regarding the Blood Sugar Sex Magik album, WHERE IS THE TRACK “GIVE IT AWAY”? Looks like you guys missed a song off that album… Why? And how? It’s a big hit!

Oh, and please add some Joe Satriani!

  • Very nice update, thanks!!

  • Actually loved the bioshock demo. Really considering giving this one a chance now.

  • Very good update!

  • Amazing update! Best one yet. Lots of demos and a variety at that. Also great job with all the updates on the video section as well. Keeps getting better and better including movies that are hard to find like D.A.R.Y.L. and Summer Rental. Very cool!

  • I download most demos and I’d heard some first-class buzz about Bioshock, so it was no exception. Without warning the action fires up and crashes into the senses, leaving me gasping for air in one of the most beautiful and realistic opening scenes I can recall. I had a genuine feeling of “being there”. Perhaps it was the large amounts of narcotics in my system, but I was pumped. Then once I got my feet on the ground, I was begging to have died in the crash. Dark, brooding hallways that obfuscate instead of elaborate, typical zombie-esque kill-what-moves-for-no-reason things attacking me, and dull cut scenes establishing the back story when I want something on par with scene one. Haze anyone?

  • I do not like Qore. Good update, though.

If only the RB people would get us a Journey Greatest Hits DLC pack, then things would be excellent… Journey, Peter Frampton, Santana, and Led Zeppelin. ;)

  • Awesome update!

  • Sweet update! I enjoyed playing that short Bioshock demo, looking awesome! Plus cool vids too!

  • No PES 2009 demo in US PSN store? Why..?

  • cool boishock demo, but were the qore!

  • sorry I mean boishock

  • I can’t believe this…everyone knows that Xbox has the red ring of fire….well there is something like that for the ps3 and its called the yellow light of doom….this yellow light is just like the red ring. so everyone who has a ps3 be very careful you do not get the yellow light of doom.

  • the6one……

PS4 needs to be just like be PS2! It doesn’t need to be a carbon copy of PS2 but rather it should incorporate everything that made the PS2 a hit and the best selling console with over 140 million plus in sales. Secondly, PS4 needs to scream fun and adventure as opposed to being superior and technologically advanced. PS3 is a great console and should do well over its 10-year life-cyle but PS4 will and should serve mainly and at this point only as a games console with our brand of computer entertainment. Playstation brand controls have proven the test of time but now it is time for something new, different, and innovative from SCEI. I believe in PS4 and that the system should strategically launch sometime in late 2010. If not 2010, definetly in Spring 2011. Let’s beat the beast Microsoft to market. As for as current plans, continue to produce both 1st party and third party on the PS3 as well progressing through our online strategy for HOme, LBP, and other MMO’s. PS4 should not be an evolution but rather a separation from PS3. It should be more user-frienldy and less tech savvy. Hope everything goes well with the development of the new platform of Playstation brand of the future Signing off…..

    the6one……

  • on second play, Bioshock rules!

  • rhcp pack but no higer ground :O

  • Why only the USA Store gets the movies ? why can’t we buy it also .? this is unfair ..

  • There is talk that the Bioshock demo does not run natively at 1080p? Can anyone confirm that it does runs at 1080p natively and is NOT upscaled to 1080p.

Sony, there needs to be MORE native 1080p games ( NOT upscaled ) as that should be one more differentiating factor between the competitors consoles and the PS3.

  • beautiful update

  • @the6one
I hope you realize how impossible it’s going to be for Sony to go backwards in terms of tech. If there’s anything that should be done, they should drop this marketing rubbish of creating the most powerful machine in the world and just make a console with the guts of an exceptionally powerful pc. Use a more straight forward multi-core architecture instead of co-processors surrounding 1 main processor and use multiple gpus with at least 1GB of video memory each. The whole problem with the ps3 has been its difficulty to program for. If they go with a more straitforward, pc like architecture, game development would occur faster just like people see with all the jrpgs that are being developed for the 360.

  • For the most part – not a bad update, with one exception:

Do you remember in the good old days when you used to be able to put in a cheat code to get all the weapons in a game? Having to pay $8.00 to unlock stuff in a game that already exists in that game is a royal insult to us old school gamers. It’s bad enough that collectively, my friends and I have been thoroughly disappointed with this latest version of Soul Calibur (are we ever getting trophies in this game?). The biggest loss are the different fighting styles, or ‘professions’ from Soul Calibur 3 that are missing from 4 – something I might actually be willing to shell out $10.00 for. I just wish the good peoople at Namco/Bandai would wake up and put back some of the fun of 3 back into 4 (in otherwords, we want more costume and fighting style choices – not pay to play cheats).

  • how about more downloadable games for psp
