Happy Friday Hot Shots Golfers! It’s been a while since our last HSG post, but we’ve been busy testing new features, new costumes and some very special items for a holiday surprise!
As you might have noticed, we’ve started to roll out some new costumes for the wonderful cast of Hot Shots Golf: Out of Bounds. The first batch was a hit, but with the second batch we wanted to throw in a little something extra.
Something that had a little more kick.
Something that could be heard above the chatter … something like VOICE CHAT.
Yes, your eyes do not deceive (and pretty soon your ears, too): the Clap Hanz team has been arduously devoting their time to make sure that Voice Chat, a feature you the fans have been asking for, was flawlessly implemented into Hot Shots Golf: Out of Bounds.
So now all users, for the low price of FREE, will be able to enjoy a friendly tit-for-tat with their fellow Match Mode players. Simply download the most recent Hot Shots Golf update (available now through any interwebs connections near you), go online and start chatting away with your fellow golfers.
I envision it to be something like this

P4: Who here has some Grey Poupon?
I know that most of you have gotten the full HSG:OoB experience, but for those of you that have not, its very simple:
1. Make sure your PS3 is connected to the internet
2. Log-in with your valid PSN account
3. Boot up Hot Shots Golf: Out of Bounds
4. Go online
5. Watch the Hot Shots Golf online goodness stream its way into your PS3 via internet magic!
Of course, outside of the Voice Chat feature (something you’ve long been waiting for), we also have some new costumes for Sonia, Kate, Felipe, Bloom and Suzuki lined up for you.
With this update, I’m absolutely getting the game, because my ONLY disappointment was actually Voice Chat.

Trophies next!
I love this game and love how that you guys are still supporting it! My only requests are trophies, and LOTS of costume packs, my wife loves them. :)
So when are trophies going to come? I had this game and got rid of it but would go pick it up again to get the trophies.

If you don’t enjoy trophies then just ignore us, there are plenty of people that love them and are trophy whores like myself, I would really love this game to have trophies.

So now there are 3 things I need to make this a must buy, in order of priority:
1)Trophies
2)Custom Soundtracks
3)Rumbles
I don’t understand how Incognito and Naughty Dog got all that stuffed patched in so fast, but other Sony’s 1st party are slacking.

If voice chat is only available in MATCH mode, can you make the 3UP called-game mechanic an option (and 18 holes as well)? In the tournaments on http://www.hotshotsgolf.com, we do match play in STROKE and REAL modes because of the artifical early called games. Thanks for considering it!

Has the promotion/demotion scoring system changed? (http://www.gamespot.com/ps3/sports/minnanogolf5/show_msgs.php?topic_id=m-1-46599680&pid=930083&tag=topics;title) I hope so! It would really encourage fluidity between the grades and make it more fun to go back and forth.
Please do also speak to someone about the G0 scheduling. It’s been terrible for months. Some hours with no G0 tourneys and only ever 3 courses (Crown, Peaks, and Oceania). PLEASE can you ask someone to give us more courses to play in G0 (and less tourneys in the rain; wind gauge-off would be preferable if we need a challenge). Thanks!!

hello I have a question about the dlc for the game. I just recently purchased the game and then the dlc and I downloaded them and it seemed fine. I go and start the game and none of the dlc is there in challenge mode nor multiplayer mode. Now this may sound stupid but can you only use the dlc in online and not the offline modes? Also the game does not prompt me to do an online update either. I know this seems like a lot of info, but any help with these problems would be greatly appreciated.
