Guys and Gals, this game is MUCH more than just Graphics. The gameplay is compelling and an absolute blast, the sound uses every ounce of power your receiver has, the music is some of the best that I’ve ever heard in a game, and yes, the graphics are that damned good!!!!
will killzone 2 have a setting that u can shut off the language and blood and gore. i don’t usually buy games that have that in it
@304 I actually wish we had this option on every game….I don’t let my children in the room when I play violent games but the sound can carry…..it would be great to have the option of no blood and no bad language.

Yah, playing with friends sucks. We’d all rather sit alone in a dark room and play by ourselves. We want to force our buddies to just sit and watch while we play instead of letting everyone play and have fun at the same time.

Can you give me, and everyone else I hint, or can you tell us if you are, or are going to be doing/creating a space for HOME?
I hope you do, and if you would take some advice, I’ve been in HOME for 6 months and know about this. IF you do infact make a KILLZONE HOME SPACE, PLEASE make sure when you do it, you make the room special, where it MAKES US come back to YOUR ROOM, again and again and again. Be it different mini games, MULTI-PLAYER GAME LAUNCHING, WHATEVER. Take a look at what EA Sports is doing, a HOME Space where it has golf, b-ball, even card games where you have to earn your way up the ranks. THAT makes one come back again and again.
I look forward to getting to finally play it. I admit, I prayed that I would have been chosen to be in the Killzone 2 Beta, but it’s cool. At least 2008 was sweet because I was specifically chosen to be in:

awesome and please for the love of god no artsy commercial .Just a kick ass commercial with explosion ,blood,and actual game play footage(or some thing like killzone liberation /killzone 1 TV ads)

The cards from GameStop say February 5th, although we’ve heard a few things like online codes (for those that ordered online or who went to a GameStop without cards) will start being sent out February 2nd. So sometime within the first week, hopefully.
CO-OP would be nice, but you have to understand the game was not designed with this in mind and there is always the possibility of it being added on at a later date. For now, however, the 32=multiplayer WARZONE mode will have to do :)

Do you have a specific date to as when the commercials will start showing up? Guerrilla is one of the top beasts for Sony. It always will and always has been like that! And for online play will their be any type of customizations for how the soldiers will look? like customize how they look on your tv screen. Just a thought … :P

But many people actually like having friends come over to their house. It’s called socializing. And while YOU may not enjoy it, most human-beings do. The split-screen modes of games like Halo and COD4 are HUGELY popular, especially at parties and such.
And split-screen gameplay is the kind of stuff that helps SELL consoles.
I have three buddies who bought a PS3 just because they played Warhawk at my house. We all had a frickin’ blast playing online/splitscreen, and they all bought consoles because of it.
And how many people have bought an XBOX after playing splitscreen HALO at a party? Countless. I bought one myself for that exact reason.
Think how many consoles Killzone 2 could sell if it became a popular PARTY game?
But if I have a bunch of people over at my place, I’m not going to pull out a single-player game and make everyone sit around doing nothing while ONE person plays.
Sony and Guerilla missed a real opportunity here.
