We know you guys have been looking forward to the next batch of downloadable content which was due to launch this Thursday, January 22. Unfortunately, we’re not going to be able to release what we had planned at this time, so the wait is going to be just a little longer before the new year’s content updates start to arrive. In order to make up for this disappointment, we thought you might like to see all the new content we’ve got lined up to come out between next week and the end of February, so hold on to your hats as there’s quite a bit!
Seasonal Content
To get the new year started in the right way we’ve got matching Sackboy and Sackgirl Chinese New Year outfits which will be available for free next week to help you celebrate the year of the Ox. At the same time you can also dress up as the world famous Groundhog in a bid to predict the length of winter. When February rolls around you’ll have no excuse for forgetting to buy a card as we release a special Valentine’s Day pack containing 12 stickers and some themed costume pieces for your Sackperson. Each of these downloads will be available for a limited time, so grab them while they’re hot!
God of War Costumes and Stickers
If you missed out on the pre-order offers to get hold of Kratos and the God of War content pack here’s another chance to get hold of an all time classic Sackboy costume. Inside the pack you’ll find Medusa and Minotaur costumes and a bunch of themed stickers to help you recreate ancient Greece in your game.
Supersonic Sackboy
In February why not pick up the pace and splash out on the WipEout content pack. Containing the WipEout costume kit and plenty of stickers to add some flavour to your game, this is a very cool pack indeed.

just go ahead and confirm Killzone 2 LBP stuff the week after Wipeout. we know it’s gonna happen, but then i guess that’s big enough for it’s own blog post.

Speaking of level packs I’d really love to see one for Ape Escape like with more costumes like Spike and friends.
I just want to know when the next level pack is coming out… if the Sephiroth costume is coming when Advent Children *blue ray* releases….. and what happened to the Steam Boat Willy rumored map pack? O.o

Costumes look ok. How about some new level packs, like MGS4? Ever since I bought that, I can’t seem to find great levels similar to that.
I’m kind of bummed that they are bringing out the GOW costumes, wasn’t that the reward for pre-ordering it? I guess for now I can still hold on to my Nariko costume because it hasn’t come out publicly, just yet. (I pre-ordered twice to get both costumes! :D)

If they add the God of War pack to the store,I expect them to do Heavenly Sword (Nariko) as well. The Heavenly Sword DLC is the only DLC I’m missing. Otherwise new content on LBP is always great,just hope they fix the “not saving” problem though.

woo! can’t wait to get back in the swing with LBP, been playing too much R2 at the moment.These costumes/gamepacks are great.

Love the costumes, but when are we going to get an update on game fixes? It has been a long time since we have seen a firmware update on the game. Things need to be fixed like: Ability to actually see what you are typing when you use a keyboard, decreasing in game lag, and maybe the ability to edit a level with your online friends.

What are you talking about? They have constantly given us free updates and demos. 5.99 for the MGS level pack was a steal for the levels, stickers, tools, and the PAINTINATER! :)
