  • As always, I will get the free stuff. Next week will be awesome, Resident Evil 5.

  • whoever has not bought burnout, do yourself a favor and BUY THE GAME NOW! btw for some reason if you want the disc version, you can get that as well for 19.99. it is an incredible game, buy the game, you will thank me later, even if you dont like drivining games or whatever, consider it a donation to the best support a dev has EVER provided to its customers. please buy burnout! add me and ill school yall online!! :)

  • Anybody can tell me if PULSE is a direct download ir is streaming video?

  • Savage Moon looked pretty cool, but I’m not dropping $10 on a downloadable game that doesn’t have a demo… sorry, guys, but I don’t know why you do this in the first place.

That LBP Ape Escape costume is a guaranteed DL for me though… while I’m generally against the concept of paying for additional costumes, I’ll make an exception for Ape Escape. Thanks for bringing this to North America, guys.

  • MAN this was an expensive week for me lol. Burnout paradise, savage moon and Bejewled 2….damn 50$ gone right there. lol.

  • My dad’s from Punxatawney (sp?), thanks for the Groundhog. please don’t see your shadow, please don’t see your shadow…

  • Thanks Grace.

I bought Savage Moon yesterday and had lots of fun.

Initially, I thought…wow, this game isn’t too hard to beat.

Well, after a few levels, I still can’t keep these insects from destroying my towers.

Gotta try playing more this weekend.

    Kind of addicting.

  • This update was a GREAT one! I’ve been obsessing over playing Bejeweled through remote play! I think more games should have remote play for the PSP! It’s a great feature!!!!

Anyways, this update was beautiful! Thanks guys!

(Now I need to go get another PSN Card so I have money for Flower and Noby Noby Boy!)

  • Getting savage moon later on.

  • I bought Savage Moon, and I agree that the update for the PS3 is great overall.

I would like to see more PSP support too. I’d also like to see more PS3-PSP bundles. It’s really hard to imagine buying the same game twice for a second platform.

  • It seems that if the PSP store content is any indication, Sony has pulled the plug and their handheld is running on battery.

As for the PS3 content, an overall so-so update. I won’t be purchasing Savage Moon without a demo.

I picked up the Bejeweled Demo, although unless it really knocks my socks off, I’m not paying $10 for something available much cheaper elsewhere.

Oh, and paying for reskinned characters still sucks.

  • Is there any news regarding “The Punisher: No Mercy” PSN videogame? It’s been awhile without updates, and since the movie is long gone, perhaps it was cancelled?

  • An alright update. I was actually more excited last week to get to try out Wipeout because there was no demo when the game came out!

  • Thanks for the post on the updated store contents. Even though I played a copy of Savage Moon at Pax, no demo, no sale.

Sony has officially announced through the Blog that the PSP format is officially dead. They are not supporting it, neither should we.

Where are the PS1 classics? Yea, yea, yea, copyright issues, right? Thank you for Wild Arms and Suikoden1, at least you have something on there for the PS1. More RPG’s please.

  • Wow! Burnout Paradise for $20. That’s definitely something to consider! Great Deal…

  • 170:

When exactly did Sony “officially announce” that the PSP format is dead?

  • I feel cheated that the Ape Escape and Toro where removed from the uk ps store. Put Them back on sony!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • When for the last 2 months you don’t put PSP content on the store. You have told the public, your format is dead. It was partially sarcastic. I thought Jeff had posted that more new PSP UMD games would be downloadable from the PSN.

  • I still don’t see any good tv show update’s.Besides the FFXIII trailer, this is a bad update for the PSN store this week.

  • I know this has already been said before, but open up the PSP the community and create a store like that of iPhone’s App Store. Follow the hackers’ lead, and let the crowd create software for it.

  • I already have the disc version of Burnout but would love to have it on my hard drive. Can anyone confirm if there is any loss in audio or visual quality between the two.

    Thanks
    E.Vega

  • TwinDad:

Perhaps a quick glance in the dictionary at the word “officially”.

  • I Think I´m in love with Christina Lee.

  • More PSX Classics PLEASE!

  • Nice update, keep up the good work! Hey, Shikamaru, you’re not the only one waiting on that Penn State theme. I’m going to ask every week until it comes Sony…

  • When is the Oasis track pack available in the uk?

  • Great update! Got most of the LBP content, what I didn’t get yet I will soon. Also, will be getting both Savage Moon and Bejeweled 2 soon, though Bejeweled 2 should’ve been $5.99.

    Keep the great updates coming!

  • sweet adds keep em coming

  • sweet update keep em coming

  • does any one else think Bejeweled should B $5 tops tax included?

  • Still no real content for the PSP? No demo? No new game? Not even any new videos? Just more lame themes and…whatever the hell PULSE is? *sigh* whatever…

And no matter how low they drop the price, I’m still never getting Burnout Paradise…well, if I had a PS3, anyways. Played the demo on my 360 and it was horrible. Stopping in the middle of a race every 5 seconds to look at the map is not my idea of fun. Besides, Wipeout HD is already available for a decent price, and it’s (probably) a much better game, IMO.

  • Oh, and if Savage Moon is anything like Defense Grid, then I’d say it’s definitely worth a look. You can’t go wrong with Tower Defense games, unless you throw in some Final Fantasy characters into it.

  • when well yall have the killzone costume for LBP now those are really cool for sackboy…

  • ugh, lame. why even bother going through the trouble of getting a code from preordering if you’re just going to sell the costumes later?

and why just the god of war pack? Where’s Nariko, and the launch space suit?

  • Thanks man!

  • I think it would be better that from here on the LBP dlc packs should be like MGS4 pack.

SONY IF YOU MAKE THEM LIKE THAT I WILL BUY ALL THE DLC YOU UPLOAD!!!

  • I should buy Burnout… hmmm…

  • I hate when this happens! I bought Burnout Paradise just a few hours before it had it’s price lowered…

  • More PS1 classics!!!! Tomba, Metal Gear Solid, Blasto!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Is it everyones goal to just whine and complain all of the time? Sony doesn’t have to put anything out on the psn. Oh my god I dont have anything new to play on my $200 or $400 device. Get a grip there are bigger problems in the world.

  • pretty cool update. but i just cant wait till resistance comes out with a map pack. wonder when one will come out. keep up the good work.

  • Dear Sony,
Emissark made a terrific thread about PSN Gamercard Designs. Please take a look into it. I can’t see myself looking at my PS3 without this feature he so brilliantly displayed.

  • I have a big problem with the german PS store: last week a friend showed me the english version of the PSN store and I was absolutely baffled by the features that seem to have been forgotten when creating the german version, like the little tags in the icon to let me know it’s a game, an add on or video, or the “All by title” sorting option…
And what’s more the content is quite different.
I can understand how some of the content differs due to licensing and rating issues, but, for example, the “ape escape” costume for LBP which was announced with all the other costumes simply is not available in the german store…
Could somebody please explain, why the german store seems to be so very underdeveloped and different from the english version ??
Oh, and why are there missing LBP costumes in the german store??

  • Anybody else having issues getting remote play to work with Bejeweled 2?

I can get PJM to work fine, but Bejeweled 2 just hangs my ps3.

  • When is the uk gonna get movie download service?

  • Hi, I’m trying to find the official Square Enix Crisis Core – Final Fantasy VII PSP XMB Theme available for download on the Playstation Store. I haven’t been able to find it at all on the Playstation Store and am wondering if its still available. If i’m not mistaken, it was released on March 28, 2008. If it is available, please email me at fallenprodigy@yahoo.com, or at least let me know where I can download it from. I’m tired of all the knockoffs that people have been releasing and want the official Square Enix release. Thank you.

  • great update but need more demos and add ons.

  • Can someone explain why although the price listed for Burnout Paradise on here is $19.99, we’re still being charged twice this (£25.99) in the UK?
