As some of you noted on your comments, the LBP Valentines pack is actually priced at $2.99 despite my post where it was stated as free. I welcome everyone now at this point to send me a “SACKBOY SLAP” via comments. I deserve it.
Don’t worry, we have tons of Free LBP DLC coming down the line so look for those announcements soon.

I find it ironic that of all the content you charge for a Valentine’s Day pack. Isn’t Valentines Day about LOVE? You should show LBP fans a little Love and dole out the content pack for FREE!! :P but whatever though, the free content has been great to see because it’s always nice when developers give a little back. I don’t want a $60 game with another $40+ in down loadable content. ;) ;) ;) ;) ;)
Why don’t you have Media Molecule put up a video or a post showing how much goes into creating assets,animation,QA testing so the average joe would understand why DLC isn’t free all the time. Most people think you make it in a day and stick it in the game and that it’s a rip off,but really have no idea.

My point is there was a mistake, you came on here and came clean. Mistakes happen and you were honest about it.
I purchased the pack last night and you deserve to be paid for it. I had no problem handing over my 2.99
There have been plenty of free costumes and things given out so by paying we insure that the after game development continues. I want this game that has become an evolving world to flourish and look forward to more level packs like the MGS (which I love)

Oohh I would so get all the LBP DLC but I live in Malaysia!! We don’t have PSN!! And that really SUCKS!!! :(
LBP was the reason I got a PS3…I will get any and all DLC…but since I had LBP pre-ordered over a YEAR before it came out…I really wanted my day 1 T-shirt. It makes my sackboy sad that it was eliminated for us in the US. I regularly race home on Thursdays to make sure I get LBP DLC as soon as possible. PLEASE keep it coming, I love it all!!!!

This week, I spent almost all my free time on recently (a total of around 10 hours!) trying to get online to get the DLC and now I find out about this and the X-Mas stuff, and I’m not happy. Having time based content makes a divide between the “Elite” players who have all the limited time items will often have the items on and the “Noobs” who just started. Continued on next post.
However those “Noobs” likely have very creative ideas, while the “Elite” likely have already used up many of their ideas. And when new players find out about the now impossible to get items they will feel like they won’t ever be able to be able to get these items and will feel cheated, they will quit and as a result, the amount of creativity and customers will drop. Please make holiday items only free for X amount of days then after that just slap a price tag on them. But unless you can do that and bring back past item then (or just do something to that affect) I can’t say that I won’t boycott the Little Big Planet and DLC itself or encourage others to do the same, and with so many companies facing bankruptcy now I’d think that loss of customers would be a much bigger blow than usual.
P.S. Anyone from Media Molecule care to tell why they even have 1 time items?

I didn’t pay $2.99 for stuff that looks like it was made in MSPaint. oh well. keep buying this crap and buy some make believe clothes in @HOME for $1.99 while you’re at it. BTW it’s kind of weird that your post pops up today when there were other posts after mine last night yours was not there. Sounds like something like a blog admin could do… maybe not.

1) Will we see Narikos face in the PSN store? My guess is no, (can you tell me hoewever?) highly no, (and here is why i believe that.) because she doesn’t show up on the LBP store from the menu when you click on the controller from the pod. My pre-ordered Kratos showed up. But Nariko did not.
Also, my second question/
2) In the Kratos pack, I got the pre order goodies, but, i see a sticker with Kratoses face as a sticker both on the LBP store and psn store, however the stickers do not show up as a buyable item. I have them, but i don’t have this kratos sticker. Is this just a picture to attract, or do only a lucky few get this sticker. I don’t have it, I have the horse the Olympus sign and others, but no kratos face?

Here’s the problem.
Sony messed up, Mm did not. Sony is already in a financial hole and I’m betting that they can barely afford to use two staples much less cover the revenue to Mm that they would owe them.
So Sony, how are you going to make this up to us? I mean technically this is false advertising, (not bait and switch by a technically legal standpoint). You guys apologized, which is great, although I’m pretty sure that if anybody were to really slap you we would get hit with assault charges. But you guys need to make good on your promise somehow, let’s not throw the taint of another failed Sony promise on this awesome game.

Never was a big fan of Pay for DLC. One of the main reasons I bought a PS3 was for the free network. Xbox live membership on a yearly sub is BS.
I’ve only bought the rock band export cause it was worth the price, I would never buy costumes that are $3.00…
