Well, the wait is almost over as Killzone 2 is just a few short days away from hitting the PS3. We are very excited about the game & would like to thank PlayStation Nation for the support that all of you have shown. To show our gratitude, we’ve decided that for the first 14 days of March, we’ll be giving away one Helghast StA52 Assault Rifle replica per day to one of our fans. Check out these photos (NOT RENDERS!) below.
All you need to do is to play Killzone 2 from March 1st to March 14th & at the end of each day, we’ll check out the stats on Killzone.com and pick out the winners based on specific categories from either the single player & online multiplayer. Get your hands on the demo… preorder your copy now… get the game early… build up your skills… do whatever it takes as these limited edition replicas won’t be sold in stores.

it would have been nice if Killzone would have launched on the traditional Tuesday instead of Friday. I wonder what Sony thinks about some people getting the game early?

There will be 14 winners. You can win if you perform the task for that particular day better than anyone else. They will use killzone.com to keep track of those statistics and make their determination.

so is this individual day stats or total stats over the 2 week period, so on day 14 is it most games played as ISA on that day or over the 2 week period
Oh no I need to unlock the sniper by day 10. And also day 7 will suck online since everyone will be respawning people in the line of fire. But I will if it’ll get me on of those replicas, I want one so bad.
As mentioned before … any plans of having this for canada? I probably wouldn’t win, but I’d sure like to try! … that replica would be awsome!

can you guys PLEASE make sure the winners are 19 and agree to some legal stuff before you give them a replica of a gun. Seriously, you guys dont want a lawsuit.. it does look like a real gun and someone could potentially get in trouble with it, knowing all the idiots out there…

I would assume Canadians are not eligible to win prizes? (we rarely are, Sony doesn’t seem to like us!)

That first image (of the gun on the table) is a rendering. The real images are very different, with different patterns in the plastic/metal, different parts.
Nice trying to trick us on the original rendering though.

Oh geez! And I thought the Master Chief Helmet was awesome, this just blows it out of the water.
Wow, I would love to win one of these. But it won’t ever happen. The sad thing is that i got an invite to HOME closed beta but it only 1 day before the open beta. So, see my luck sucks. But i will be playing that game alot because i love my ps3 it’s the best system on the market and i want to play this game soooooo bad. I’ve been waiting for sony to push out some really good games. It’s about time that sony got back on track and will soon smoke the xbox 360. WHich is a horrible system…too many glitches and hackers..

How will you combat people just getting 1 hit, 0 misses and never playing again? Or people who join and then immediately leave a game for a loss? Or will that be acceptable?
an all loss day ….they ought have one of those in MGO since people love to dc mid game so theyre stats don’t get affected.
I want this gun so bad,ive been playing online for a while trying to get my stats up.i got top 10% the other day,this game is the best thing to happen to killzone fans.
all ive been doing since killzone came out is trying to get better to get this gun.im a huge fan and im trying for day 3 today.its a tough one but i love it.i really really really hope i win,its also my favorite gun on killzone 1 and 2 so it makes it that much better.
