Back in November we introduced the ability to sign in to PlayStation.com using your PlayStation Network login credentials. Currently you can see your online ID, your avatar, and view your friend list. You also have the ability to get your Portable ID for use on forums and social networking sites.
If you haven’t already signed in to PlayStation.com using your PSN ID, you’re definitely going to want to tomorrow (sign in here). When we introduced PlayStation Trophies last year we promised we would be extending the feature to the web. We are near ready to release our first phase which will allow you to view your PlayStation Trophies on PlayStation.com with all of the details you can see on your PS3. Later this year, we’ll enhance these features giving you the ability to compare and sort trophies in new ways.

Is there yet to be any rewards system with the trophies? I recall a comment on it a long time ago but I haven’t heard anything sense. Also its quite late now but it does seem rather “should have been out already” sort of thing so hopefully if thats still under planing then we shouldn’t have to wait much longer :P

pretty cool cant wait for it also what we need is to be able to changed the colors on the playstation profiles cause the colors make it hard to read the writting :(

Yeah there should be a reward system for trophies, would be a one up on XBL’s achievements.
Say like $1 off a PSN game for every 10 gold trophies you get. Or $2 off a PSN purchase for every platinum you get.
By doing that you’ll bring more interest in purchasing games for trophies, and more interest in the PSN having people buy games they would have never considered.
Nice to see these features haven’t been forgotten. Keep up the good work.
You guys need to let other sites have this information to use so they can make cool background images and things like PS3Trophies.com

ha ha! i have more trophies than you jeff!lol. anyway, cool article. im with the guy that said send messages to friends through this website. that would be pretty sick. i think you guys should mainly focus on home right now though. i want some reason to go use it. new spaces are ok but im waiting for the features to start rolling out. anyway that looks sick. ps3 ftw!

for some reason playstation network is down on my ps3 when i try to sign on it ether takes like 5 minutes or then something saying an error has occred and its a dns error or that u have been signed out of playstaion network and its very annoying cuz i cant play online
so some one needs top help me plz

Nice addition! But what I want to see the most is prizes for getting a certain number of trophies, or for getting 100% in a certain number of games… New cothes for PSN, new avatars to our PS3 profile, and even some games / addons from the PS Store! Wouldn’t that be awesome??

I like post #121 would like to see Sony release the Trophy API just like microsoft has their achievements released to third party sites and apps. It can only help add to the sony community as well as allow for other sites to provide additional gaming services.

What is going on with G.A.P.? Is it still going on?
Any word on a solution for the multiple PlayStation sites where you have to sign with your PSN ID? It’s a pain navigating from the Playstation.com, PlayStation Blog, MyResistance.com, LittleBigWorkShop.com and Killzone.com. It would be so much nicer if you could just sign in once and easily navigate between them.

This is fantastic, and much props to your network/IT guys for making this happen. I’ve done alot of work with SSO (single sign-on) systems and implementation, and it is never quick or easy, and things usually don’t work the way you expect them to the first time around.

Please update the portable ID to include Trophy levels and make it slimmer for forums :)
Will there be the ability to delete trophies from our personal accounts? there are some games that I bought that included trophies that I never play anymore (in some cases don’t even own the game anymore) and just sit there with 0% done. It would be nice to delete that information from our trophy records
Why everytime I want to see my friends’ trophies it always does this dumb sync thing? My 360 automatically sees others achievements.

Wow, this is really great! Now I don’t have to go to ps3trophies.org to check out what the hidden trophies are!
Now you need to spruce up the portable id (that thing is way too ugly and it should include trophies or at least your level) and add more avatar options!
I hope part of your upcoming updates to the PSN cards include showing your PSN level and percentage bar. Good job anyways :).
I’m also kinda looking forward to what kind of new features the next firmware update will bring
